Food portion got smaller but still a good place to go eat

Cheddars has a very wide choice of meals on the menu including steaks, chicken, seafood, or salads. Miranda is an excellent server! Thank you for the food and drink recommendations. I got the chicken strips and shrimp, ask for them buffalo style! Excellent customer service, great food, and great drinks!

Got there with family today on a Wednesday and got seated right away since there was not that many people. Waited over 10 minutes for a waiter. The people that got there after us had already gotten there drinks. We told one of the workers if we could get a waiter to our table she said she will get right on that. We waited 10 more minutes still no waiter and the table beside us was already getting there food serve. Horrible service. No excuse when the restaurant was not even half full and we could see multiple workers just standing around. After about 20 minutes of waiting we just got up and left.

Excellent place to eat, clean, quick service, great taste - the place is good, pretty and very good prices.

9/18/2022...Had to edit my previous review, food was good, wait time was good. Only issue one of our plates had hairs in in it. We notified the waitress and she took it back to be replaced, which took a while.. we ask for the check and they had charged same plate twice, this was brought up and corrected after a long time waiting for the waitress to get the manager.. not a single Apology for the hairs or the wait.. the manager did not even come to our table to address the issue... waitress was attentive overall but did not seem to have liked us addressing both the issues...

Since Cheddars opened its doors, it has been my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, this last time I visited I decided to try the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Worst sandwich I have ever had. McDonalds, which I dont like, is even better. It appeared it was already made and just warmed up. Not made from scratch! So, if you visit avoid that meal.🤢

They told us it was a 45 minute wait to seat my party and after 50 minutes they told us that the waitress wasn’t ready to serve us. Horrible service. We ended up leaving and going to Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse sat us down in less than 5 minutes. We were a party of 15

It sucks that this is a great restaurant but they do not have space for big parties or reservations for them, it is my birthday and all I wanted was their steak and the Watermelon Margarita and they can’t even accommodate us, wanting to sit us at separate tables

We had to wait like 40 mins to be seated but the Food was delicious

They finally brought back the key west chicken and shrimp. They had take out for a while. I can’t ever complain about cheddars. Great prices for great food and service.

Food is pretty good. BUT, A friend asked something about the green beans and the waiter basically said they were canned and he didnt know anything about them LMAO! Overall a great place.

Gigantic servings.I suggest Cheddars offer a menu similar to the kids menu, but only for seniors.We have buying power (lots!), but we cannot eat that much food.In my opinion it is a waste of food and money :(

Not what it used to be. From the start waiter was not attentive. Hard toast broccoli casserole tasted ugly. Mash tasted funky. Fried chicken was way too breaded. Was my favorite place to go before covid not returning after this

Well I had to edit my 2 star review. I originally did my review after taking my wife for lunch on her birthday and had a bad experience. So me my wife and our baby daughter went last night and were served by Tristan. Had one of the best dinner dates in a while. We went a little before closing time and our waiter Tristan never made us feel like we were being rushed. He was awesome never had to ask for refills on our drinks and the interaction with Tristan was almost like we were friends for a while. Definitely felt welcomed. Food was great and the service was top notch. If your wanting to eat ask to be taken care of by Tristan probably the best waiter there. Glad we were served by him had a really great dinner. Will definitely be going again soon. Thanks for the awesome service Tristan!!! If cheddars reads this please recognize Tristan for his great service. Hes definitely an asset to your restraunt!!

First time dining at a Cheddars. Food was delicious and service was great. Grilled chicken is tender and juicy. There were several entrees that look amazing. I’ll have to come back and try them all.

This place as become a regular for us to go to. We always order the cheese bits. Very good when fresh and hot. Not so much once they cool down so eat them fast! The sweet croissants they serve at the begining are very tasty. Buttery and sweet, its a nice change of the breads they give at other places. I often get their chicken fried chicken and burger. Always a winner. Their strawberry lemonaid is very sweet and refreshing. Best of all, their prices are very reasonable. Ive always liked coming here. (About once to twice a month)

I went to eat there for my birthday lunch because I love the Monte Cristo! Its the best! The food was super hot and fresh! The hostess that days was friendly and very attentive. I had to go tell her our table was dirty and since whomever was supposed to clean it was busy, she did it herself! Very good service by her and our server. I wish I could remember his name because he was awesome! I was juggling 7 tables with such ease! Im going to request him again on my next visit!

The food was adequate at best, we had the Montecristo, shrimp & ribs, chicken fried chicken, & chicken tenders & shrimp.While everything came nice and hot, all the food got cold within minutes because of the AC vents located all along the eastern wall of the restaurant.Give it 2 stars because the young lady that served us did a great job.

Male waiter was a muti- tasker. Bartender/ waiter. He was very professional, efficient & friendly. Steak was cooked to perfection, & barbecued ribs fell of the bone. Highly recommend!

We were disappointed with our meals. We ordered the pot pie, mine had nothing but chicken and my husbands was all vegetables. Not what we were expecting at all.

Always a warm home-style feeling. Food is always hot and freshly made. Chicken potpie is one of my favorites!

I have never been disappointed with the food here. Definitely seems like a scatch kitchen. I feel the prices are a bit high compared to similar restaurants.

I enjoyed eating at this location for dinner on Easter Sunday. We experienced some great service, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. We had their delicious chicken pot pies and their complimentary croissants! Instead of a salad I ordered their broccoli and cheese casserole, which was very great tasting, I highly recommend it. We also enjoyed their Texas Margaritas, on the rocks or frozen. Sorry, didn’t take any pictures, this time around.

Staff is always friendly upon entering and waiters do their best. Their spinach dip is what makes me keep going back. Food is a little bland sometimes for my liking but over all it’s a good place to have a nice dinner.

Everything was perfect. Except for my French fries,they tasted stale, and chips queso were awful.. The entrées were good. I had the cornmeal white fish with order of coconut 🍤 very delicious.. The waiter was a great person, very polite.

We had already started eating when I remembered to take pictures but this our #1 spot for steak and shrimp 4 me. The wife love the chicken from here. We got 3 kids so they all have their taste but I give this place 5 stars. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. You got to try the bourbon glaze with your steak you wont regret it

First time trying steak at Cheddars. Asked for it Medium, came back rare. Asked to cooked it a bit longer. Got it back the same rare. Very disappointed. Didn’t enjoy my steak. Neither did my daughter eat her wrap. It was mediocre. Should of gotten the country fried steak. Management should also be more consistent on their guests. Server did a good job but he was very busy bartending as well. Understandable, understaffed. But management should of been helping their staff.

It been such a long time since Ive been to Cheddars. Sitting was instant. Waiter was definitely on point. The experience was completely amazing. The food...oh, now i remember why I hadnt come to visit...you cant stop eating! Everything was perfect...and the rolls, you cant stop! The dishes are very well served. You wont leave hungry for sure. And price, spot on. Cant wait to go back.

Was very annoying to not have anything I asked for on the menu and half the menu we used to order discontinued and even the vegetable sides came with ham or bacon pork products in them I settled on red beans and rice it was mostly SAUSAGE 🥺 Had to settle on a fried chicken plate even though I wanted healthier grilled choice, the steak and shrimp they brought my daughter in law was doused in a PILE of dried up parsley.... It didnt make dinner fancy it made it awkward and she tried scraping it off and ended up with green in her teeth, super embarrassed kept checking in mirror har to go to rroom n rinse her mouth and no unsweet tea? Everything loaded with sugars. 🙄Our waitress tried her best to be accommodating even though.Ok. The end i ate half a fried piece of chicken and some mashed potato 🙄 not the way I wanted to spend bday.

Celebrating Fathers day with a delicious Monte Cristo! It was really good by the way.Service was kinda slow in the bar area and it was not even full.It was good to be back after a few months.

Excellent food. Outstanding service. I come for The Monte Christo and strawberry lemonade! My wife comes for the Country Fried Chicken! We share Coconut Shrimp appetizer. Good eating!

Love it! We are full time Moms right now and Cheddars was our escape 😩 last Saturday we went for some silence, peace and a relaxing lunch date, everything was on point! Our drinks were perfect, our server was so patient with us, after the first drink we were so loud lol and he was always polite, thank you Cheddars for giving us a relaxing Mommy time. We want to do this every two weeks haha so see ya next time! Oh, the sampler we tried was perfect, the spinach dip and the chicken strips were delicious! The drinks we tried were: Maui, Painkiller and the Sangria ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place was full of people but our order didnt take long.. plus the food was delicious. Also, good environment to eat with the family.

I was having lunch on my own, and I was wanting pasta...so I ordered the chicken tender parmesan. Oh, my! I wanted yo ask the people next to me to help me eat it! It was soo good. The marinara sauce was on point. It was cheesy and I satisfied my noodle cravings. The value was just as good, only $10.99!! Make sure you have a hearty appetite OR be willing to share. My waiter gave excellent service. I love to eat here.

Delicious food honestly anything you order. The honey butter croissant are a must. Attentive servers and reasonable prices.

Food was pretty good. I had the grilled mango salmon and shrimp. I was kind of upset I had to wait for drinks to be refilled and my husband said his Chicken Fried Steak was more batter than steak. Other than that it was good.

Amazing place. Great service, great ambient, food is delicious!! Just a perfect restaurant to have a great time. Manager is always walking around to see and ask you if everything is okay. Great job guys 👌 thanks to Vilma G, the waitress who attended us the day.

Amazing food!!!!Depending on what day of the week you go because on the weekends it is overwhelmingly packed!The servers are nice & everything looks really clean.Sometimes it gets a little too loud even for a weekday.It really depends of the day you go & the time.If you go at a really good day & time then your date or significant event youre having is going to go smashingly well mate.Enjoy your food!!!

I had the Lemon Pepper Chicken with black beans, rice & fries. The chicken looked dry, but turned out to be just right with excellent flavor. The side dishes were all delicious. The service was good, plus the chef (owner?even came out to say Happy Birthday to my companion. Nice touch!

We enjoy the food when we visit. It is a huge dissapointment that they dont provide guest wi-fi. There is hardly any cellphone signal inside this restaurant and we have seen it as a frequent complaint amongst guests. This is the main reason why it doesnt get a higher rating from me. The issue just seems ignored. Does it affect the overall experience? For us it usually does since we cant share anything on line or event make calls or text when we have to.
