Excellent! Accommodations were warm and cozy. Lots of minnows supplied and pick up and drop offs were right on time.

Such a great time. Stayed in the 8man bungalow for 3 nights. Fishing was consistent with over 30 walleye caught. 3 keepers. The hut was very clean and well kept. Great memories!!!!.

What a great weekend! Our cabin was warm and comfortable and we caught fish too!

Our trip was canceled twice this year due to covid🤬 I will definitely be going back here next year though. These guys can find the fish.

Great place! Very relaxing. Great fishing experience! We went kayaking in the river, swam in their heated pool. Did a few takeouts from North Bay which is about 15 minutes away. We will be back. So enjoyable! Loved it.

Very clean. Great boats. Fishing was excellent! Most importantly was the awesome treatment from the owners. I would definitely recommend this resort and will be returning next year.

We went ice fishing, the hut was clean, warm, the bathroom the same, the bbq worked. Unfortunately the fishing was very slow:(

Been a yearly tradition, ice fishing with them is amazing. Steve is a little bit of a stiff character but he knows his stuff and will go out of his way to help put you on the fish! Always a great time. Thanks Steve and Pam! PS first year we meet Craig and he is a solid guy, much respect to him. Craig is a great host!!!

I dont know if this is the resort but it is a boat launch... gorgeous area!

Located in Nipissing village, 30 minutes south of North Bay.

Just spent a fabulous relaxing week at South River Resort. Loved the clean spacious cottage and awesome pool. Had great experience fishing on Lake Nippising and kayaking on South River. Beautiful scenery! Cant say enough about the owners Pam and Steve, super helpful and accommodating! To the previous commenter regarding the bugs, no more bugs here than at my home just outside of Toronto!!!

This was our second year at South River and have fantastic experiences both years. Cottages are clean and comfortable and facilities are great. We have hired Steve for a charter tour with our kids and have had a wonderful experiences catching fish. I would highly recommend.

Clean and spacious cottages with an insane number of mosquitos to make you regret your trip! They have fishing docks, a swimming pool and thats all about it. No matter how much insect repellent you bring in, they wont be enough!

Ice fish here every year. Great time. Great huts and Steve puts you on the fish.

South River Resort is a hidden gem. This was my second year staying with Pam and Steve and it wont be my last. The cabin is clean, spacious, and perfect for a nice little getaway. Thank you for being such great hosts.

"Guide" drives his atv between blind and bait every day at noon. Distance from blind to bait is 18 yards. No shooting lanes anywhere. We are put in one blind all week. No matter wind direction. No trail cameras. To exit blind you have to walk toward bait. To make matters worse, the guide backs his trailer up to the food pile and with the motor running dumps his load. No daytime deer at all. All nochturnal. My wife and I chose this as a vacation. We are very experienced hunters. We feel absolutely ripped off. $1165.00 each to see an atv and a bucket of corn.Cabin is nice and clean. Bed is really creaky and squeaks. Every little move is a sound.DO NOT COME HERE TO HUNT!!!
