One of our favorite walks in South Beach and a great place to watch the sun set as the cruise liners go by.There are exercise areas, dining options and just a great place to walk around and enjoy the cooling effect as the sun sets.

This is a beautiful, large pier that connects to South Beach. Theres nice big parking lots nearby, a nice splashpad and playground for kids, and a beautiful wide sidewalk alongside the water leading up the pier. The pier itself overlooks Miami Beach and a beautiful row of rocks. Its a great place to bike or walk, lots of places to sit, and a beautiful view all around. After you check out the beach you can go straight to the beach. Great place.

A beautiful and serene pier. Very clean, well maintained and stunning views. A cute place to stop by when visiting the Miami Beach as a tourist and I’m sure it is a local favorite for avid runners.

Great place for a walk by the beach, park or the boardwalk. Such amazing views especially during sunrise/sunsets. Can do a little fishing if youd like! But so peaceful and tranquil. This park actually was remodeled and the new boardwalk is superb for the views. Watch out for the waves!

Go jump off the pier!! This area has things to do in a variety of places around the park. If your into sports, hobbies and fitness then you might this to be an exciting place.

I had a beautiful walk on the pier and the best part was seeing a young father with his 2 children. They were trying to catch fish.

I surprise my boyfriend yesterday with that beautiful picnic at the beach park and he loves it. He even said I’m not allow to surprise him lol he is the only one that can surprise me.😂 the weather was wonderful. I will be having one with my girlfriends soon.

Great area to bike around and see the sunset. This side of the beach can get really crowded.

The view , location and beach was fantastic as always, but there bicycle repair station was a nightmare ! I just wanted to inflate my bike tire, but instead it sucked all the air out of my tire and then would not fit properly back onto the valve on my tire to re-fill it. Spent a hour in the hot sun determined to figure it out and ended up walking home with a flat tire ! Totally sucks.

It is very beautiful. It has meadows where you can sit down. A childrens playground, viewpoint on the sea and good access to the beach. It also has a sports frame for exercising. And you can see the skyline of miami. It is most beautiful in the evening with the sunset or at night with the lights.

We stayed at the very end of South Beach Miami close to southpoint park pier. Its a beautiful place to walk its well lit a beautiful pier a beautiful pair gorgeous white sand beaches. Plenty of places to eat lots of places to rent and stay. You can rent bikes and ride all around the bottom half of this pier and beach with breath taking serene backgrounds. Highly recommend the area not during Spring break and busy season.

Beautiful pier, you can watch the cruise ships leave the port from this pier. You get Great views of the city & Ocean and the cruise ship ports! Nice & Relaxing walk on this pier, not alot of sun cover so beware of sun exposure while walking!!

Great place to chill. It has a splash pad for the kids, restrooms, a field for picnics, a fishing pier, the beach, and boardwalk for a casual stroll or biking. Parking was difficult to find on the weekend. So plan accordingly. I found parking a few blocks away.

Fine place to visit if youre in South Beach. Some good views of the beach and skyscrapers in the background. Nice sea breeze. Benches and a water fountain are available at the end of the pier. Plenty of people fishing.

Scenic views of Government Cut and Atlantic Ocean. A wonderful place to have a picnic, exercise, walk pets, swim, and relax.

Definitely a very nice spot to fly a drone as I did but during the day its very nice to see all if the boats go by, was able to bike from my hotel to the end via the boardwalk which was about 3.5 miles each way for me nice workout!

Must visit during Miami visit. Enjoyed it.No entry fee.But hard to find a paid parking spot during holidays.

You CAN walk your CitiBike down the pier.. just dont be rude and ride it. There is also a station close by.The view is amazing the breeze is wonderful. Great spot!!

Spectacular views with a peaceful breeze!This pier has one of the best views in South Beach. From this point you can look at the beach and the buildings at the same time.They have some benches and a water fountain at the end of the pier. We also liked the art at the entrance of the pier. I recommend to go early in the morning when the Sun is not that bad.

Such a beautiful place to stay for a while and enjoy the amazing sun of Florida and the ocean! It is clean and everything is relaxed; even if many people are here it is a great place to come and enjoy the sun! Definitely worth trying it! Just be aware that you have to look for a parking slot in the neighborhood!

Serene and refreshing! Gentle morning breeze and the slow moving waves with turquoise color water brings peace to your mind! Perfect place for meditation and awesome ocean views .constantly moving boats and cruises doesn’t cause any interruptions to your inner peace. Rock bridges on both sides adds beauty to the landscape. The boardwalk itself is very well planned and laid out nicely. Love this place! Slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city , this place is one of my favorites in this city. Come and enjoy the serenity of this place!

Great for an evening stroll. We were not able to go into the pier but walked along the promenade and saw some beach cats hanging by the steak house. It is busy with lots of families and folks on bikes and skates, even in the evening.

The walk around the south point of South Beach is very beautiful with a gorgeous view from the pier. You can see the entire length of the beach. Rent a bicycle or have a nice walk/run. There is a place to buy some refreshments on the hot sunny day

Very picturesque location. Good sunset location. So many people walking up and down the path leading up to the pier. Even saw a dog park in one of the areas. There is public parking available at the entrance to the South Pointe Park.

Fantastic views from here of South Beach and Fischer Island. Its a short walk from both the beach and South Point Park. Probably one of my favorite things about South Beach. We came the week of Christmas and the weather was absolutely beautiful. 86 degrees and breezy. You couldnt ask for more beautiful weather to explore and take it the views from a place like this!

This is the end point of south beach in Miami. When you take the sea side walk this is the end point. It has got beautiful view of south beach and also amazing view of the downtown and Miami port. They are building one big path on the sea with rocks that’s in progress. Apart from that they already have one view point which is already built. There is also south pointe park where you have children playground and splash pad too make you cool. In the park there is small shop to get ice creams and other stuff. This is beautiful park and must visit if you are in a south beach.

If you are around Miami Beach, you must visit this park from south. My husband and I stayed at mid beach and rode our rented citibike from there. It’s definitely a very relaxing and beautiful view. We love it!

An amazing place with beautiful park and very clean beach in Miami. There are all needed services for rest with comfort. The south Park is good for families also because it has safe beach line and shallow entry into the ocean. Highly recommend it to visit!

The pier is simply stunning. Located at the southern tip of the humongous Miami beach. One can pedal or walk to this beach across the Miami beach coast. The view is spectacular. The magnificent buildings at one side and the beautiful Miami beach on the other side. Simply a visual treat. This is a photographers paradise. There is beautiful park right next to this place. This spot is very well connected by public transportation. There is also a citi bicycle pick up station at the entrance of the beach. All in all, a must visit place.

Clean area, the water was so beautiful. It’s now Nov and the water was initially cool but plenty was swimming.Now that the cruise ships are starting to move again since Covid, it was neat to watch one go by us while on the pier. I love to go there and walk, it’s very relaxing. The pier is free so you can come and go.

Wonderful pier which offers beautiful views of the south beach, ocean and fisher island. It opens from sunrise to sunset and gates are closed at night. There are lot of benches in the pier to sit, relax and enjoy the ocean views. Also, offers the option to do fishing at the end of the pier bridge.

This place is spectacular. The ocean color is amazing, the atmosphere, calming and relaxing. A place to enjoy when you want to just appreciate nature for its beauty. This is one of my favorite beaches in Miami. Nice clean area, not incredibly slammed with people. We get there early and enjoy easier parking. Nice perk having the pier right there and seeing some of the ships come in and out of port as well. Whenever I’m Miami for a beach day this is our spot for sure.

Yes, I like to take long walks on the beach...to Southern Pointe Park Pier!This is a good destination to hit up in South Beach. Some great views of incoming yatchs, rocks, and for you to take some shots! (Double meaning intended. :PYou can fish at the end of the pier as well if thats your thing too, but you have to bring your own equipment.Oh! And sunrises/sunsets here are beautiful too!There are also some fantastic eats a short walk away! The Lobster Shack or Joes Stone Crab to name a few!!

South Pointe Park Pier is at the mouth of Governut Cut, the water path that ships take out to the Atlantic Ocean. It is nice park with a large green grass area. Parking though is rather tight and on the weekend, it becomes ridiculously expensive. It is usually by meters, but on the weekend a parking guard charges a fee of about $20, I think. That rates applies whether you are there for 15 minutes or several hours. So come to it on a weekday if you are able to. Normally on the weekends on a Saturday or Sunday around 4pm, the huge cruise ships pass through Government Cut, so close that you feel that you can touch them. Ive not been down there for a year now, but that activity has pretty much come to a halt.The pier itself stretches out to the mouth of the Cut and fishing is allowed on part of the pier.Here are some photos from there.

I think here is one of the best part of South Beach, it is generally windy but a great view as you could see in the pictures. The biggest Cruies ships passes from here. Walk along the ocean drive after you visit south pointe pier. It is a good way.
