South Cobb Diner in Mableton

South Cobb diner is always a favorite go to place for lunch. I used to eat there more often until we moved. They used to have a spicy chicken club sandwich that was awesome! It has unfortunately left the menu. Seafood basket is good, love the salads to. Go check them out, tell them Eric Berry your Georgia Realtor sent you.

We went to attend the amazing paint & sip!! That was outstanding and all of our paintings turned out amazing!! The food and drinks were delicious! Fantastic atmosphere, music, and our group were together, almost felt like a private event! Then, the service and people were all fabulous, caring, bright, conversational, and professional!! Loved it!!

The atmosphere was fantastic, Mrs. Dani was a fantasticl host, her husband as well. That southern home cooking is what you will get at The South Cobb Diner. Just had takeout from here. And it was so good. I got the fried pork chops with black eyed peas and broccoli cheese casserole. Next time I will get a pic. 😂

I went to the Paint & Sip which are on Saturdays. I had so much fun, I had to go back with my friends. The food is delicious. The service was great. Everyone is treated as family - Very refreshing to see that people do care!!!

My service was super amazing! 👌Truly enjoyed both of my visits after church service. Spiritual meal first then my natural meal, both were superb! 🌟Grateful! 🙏🏽I’m going again today! 😄😍😄

The food we ordered was homemade and tasted great. I enjoyed the 🥦 casserole.

The server we had was really bad. She came back once just to give refills towards the end of the meal and didn’t say anything at all. The only positive thing was the manager picking up her slack. Wouldn’t recommend if you have the same server as me. Don’t know her name because she didn’t introduce herself. Oh and the restaurant wasn’t even busy.

Have been meaning to try this place for awhile, finally got the chance and I can say with confidence its good. Service is prompt and polite, portions are good, food is delicious, and in our case at least, out quite quickly. I believe our waitress was Kristine and she was very kind!

Country fried steak was a little tough. Mac and cheese was tasty. Sweet tea was excellent.

Do NOT get the chicken salad sandwich. Its all mayo with whole grapes and pecans. What a mess. Also, do not get the Arnold Palmer Iced Tea, all it is is a .99 Arizona Iced Tea can the they sell for $3.45!! Thats a hell of a markup guys. The blackened salmon salad was good...thats why I gave them two stars, otherwise it wouldve been zero stars.

Food was very good...Service was slow however when you only have three people serving...But they were doing the best they could....Apparently you just cant find good help these days...

Amazing food was great hot and fresh and not to crowded and the waitress was friendly and nice.

I had the best piece of fish I think Ive ever had with the Fish and Chips meal.I think cod is my new favorite fish. Waitresses are always SUPER friendly.

Salad was good only thing is my husband ask for regular Lettuce and not the Roman they gave him Roman he doesnt like that kind of Lettuce.

I decided to take a friend of mine to South Cobb Diner for lunch today Wed 6/16/22. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess who seemed to be pleasant and seated us with a menu, & served us a glass of h2o w lemon. A waitress passed by us mumbling something. We waited another maybe15 min to place our order, & meanwhile the hostess came adjacent to us & cleared a table, mentioning nothing about when we would be waited on. So we decided to leave, & the hostess said "have a nice day" as we were exiting the premises. To me this expressed the very meaning of Rude.

My husband and I recently moved to powder springs and decided to try South Cobb Diner for lunch the other day.I am so glad we happened upon this gem!Larry our server was absolutely delightful. Friendly and super efficient and he even introduced us to his manager who welcomed us to the area.Now to the food.I ordered the catfish sandwich - a very generous portion cooked to perfection! Their remoulade sauce was a flavorful addition. Side of green beans soooo good!My husband had the pork chops - again a very generous serving with an amazing side of blueberry chutney. Fried okra and tasty black eyed peas rounded out his meal.We both took home enough for a second meal!They also serve cocktails so this would be a great spot for dinner as well.Highly recommend and will be back!

Great service, friendly staff,very clean dining room. The food was pretty good and they serve it in generous portion. My first time but not my last.

This place was awesome, they hosted my coworkers and I monthly events. The food was great, the service was top notch. This is the perfect spot to have a nice intimate dinner or an event. My coworkers and I look forward to holding our next event there.

The saddest caesar I have ever had… after a long day of travel I just hoped for a nice quality salad. I accepted defeat bc this salad was just pitiful. Service was fast and waitresses were kind so 3/3 stars for them. No stars for the meal.

I guess Ubereats customers are not as valuable. This is my 3rd time ordering g the same meal but this time, whoever packed my meal gave me extremely hard and burnt Mac & cheese, I guess to get rid of it. The the meat loaf was hard on the bottom. It was old and turned to the bottom Like I wouldn’t see or eat it do better.

It was Home Girls 36th B-Day and she picked Sip and Paint... Wow!!! This place was fabulous because of the host, bartender& waitress where all related. Dad, Mom and daughter. Black owned and run with professionalism 😊 Yes indeed the FOOD was on point. No need for salt pepper or hot sauce.... 10 Stars🤩

Found this restaurant while looking for fried green tomatoes which is (I thinkGeorgias specialty. So we had fried green tomatoes, chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried squash, and country fried steak with collard green and jalapeno slaw. All the veggie dishes were delicious and my chicken was tender but my husband said his beef was a little tough. Also we got red velvet cake and it was true southern sweets. Our server was knowlegable and attentive.

Delicious! I had the fried catfish sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fish was fresh and hot. Seasoned perfectly. Topped with lettuce and tomatoes. Very filling. Fast service. I will be back.

Wanted to try a Diner that I’ve never been to before, the food was ok, service was ok, The South Cobb omelette didn’t have sausage in it like promoted on the menu, The Fried Green tomatoes needed seasoning as well as the Broccoli casserole. I wasn’t impressed, I don’t think I’d go back.

We were greeted and sat right away. Our server was very attentive knowing it was our first time in. Our meal was fresh and “hot out the grease”...

Love this place for good home cooking. The fried pickles were a great starter. I enjoyed the catfish sandwich (which was light and flaky on a buttered bunwith a side of broccoli casserole. I tried my daughter’s serving of meatloaf, and it was tender and very tasty. The green beans were seasoned well and did not come from a can. My husband’s Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes were a fave. The collard greens were cooked to perfection. Yes! I sampled everyone’s dish, and I loved ALL of it. The wait staff is personable and fun. Our food was served within 10-15 minutes. I definitely recommend them and will return soon.

1st time eating here, arrived for Sunday lunch at 11 am, greeted & seated immediately. Server was knowledgeable about menu & made suggestions. The fried pork chop plate has 2 pieces & the collards are awesome. The wings plate does not come with sides, you have pay extra. The staff is friendly & the prices are fair for the quality & portions.

South Cobb Diner tucked inside downtown Austell. I had a fried chicken patty with white gravy and mashed potatoes. Actually I thought I was going to get fried chicken. I wish the menu was a little more specific. This restaurant has a lot of fried food amongst other items you can order. Pretty much southern style cooking. The customer service was excellent and the restaurant has a unique atmosphere, very relaxing, clean and organized. The price is very reasonable with sizable portions.

We have been meeting here for our bookclub meetups for a few years now! I always get excited because I LOVE the food. I dont have to get the same thing each time. The servers are very friendly & willing to help make your visit a great one. I would definitely recommend this establishment!

The food at South Cobb Diner reminds me of the dishes I enjoyed at family gatherings when I was a child. I loved every bite, and we had an excellent server.

Who knew that Austell Ga had such an amazing place to eat. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The staff was so inviting and professional. This place is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Did I mention how great the food is. The portions are plentiful as well. Must try the salmon, mac n cheese. Omg...the collars greens and the salad us the best. My friend had the fried green tomatoes and she closed her eyes and smiled when she took her first bite. She said they were the best she ever had. I had the Blackened Shrimp and Grits. Wow, phenomenal. The taste was mouth watering. I cant wait to go back. They even have paint parties on every Saturday. It was so much fun to be at a private paint party on a Thursday evening. Its a wonderful place to dine and have a party.

My food was Delicious!! I was already eating it when I remembered to take the pictures. 😃. The fried Cauliflower was very TASTYI I will get it again. I had a to go order and the service I got was Awesome!! The waitress was very attentive and answered all of my questions . My family knows the Owner, Laura from West Cobb Diner. Shes Great!! I will definitely continue to patronize both West and South Cobb Diners.

Crab cake sliders were banging! Nice chill atmosphere although a little ambient decor would level up the establishment. Still, great food and service. Waitress was also easy on the eyes 😊

Service was poor, but I think they may have been understaffed. food was not as good as i thought it would be for having such a wide selection. I was expecting to be wowed based on word of mouth and reviews, but the food was surprisingly bland. Id give it another go, but dont expect anything to knock you out of this world.

The food is so good at this place I have to go back for more. I cant wait to try all their food. Better hurry theyre always full of people. What are you waiting for?
