Sorelle Picchi - Southern Comfort Food Restaurant in Parma, Italy
Sorelle Picchi in Parma
Description
Privilege
We got served almost an hour and a half after we arrived. The food was okay, the gnoccho fritto was good but we ordered gnocchi with rabbit which was very unappetising (see picture). The rest was average, portions are too small. The long waiting time made the overall experience unenjoyable.
MoreOne of the best Authentic and simple food in the areaDessert 🍨 also are great
At first, service seemed slow, but soon it became better. Good food, friendly staff and reasonable prices.
MoreFor the food, yes go here. The tris of pasta is great, the rest too. Service however was unfriendly and unwelcoming.
MoreGreat restaurant in Parma, always my go to! Great risotto, ham, wine and cheeses. This is a typical Italian place and you can tell everything is done with a lot of love. They also have super good desserts!
MoreGreat food! Nice decoration. Expensive copperto of 3 EUR for regular bread not even served with olive oil. Service was regular. They charge for tap water 2,50 EUR... Maybe this is normal in Italy but the copperto made more of 20% of the food.
MoreReally delicious 😋, worth it
Delicious Prosciutto, parmesan and Lambrusco.Service was ok
One of the most renowned restaurant in Parma! We shared the menu Aida with a tagliere of typical parmigiano cured meats, tortelli, guancialino, and dessert. In addition, we ordered the vertical of parmigiano (3 blocks per age, but unfortunately we received no explanation when we received the plateand an extra risotto verdi, which was delicious. We had way too much food, but it was delicious. This place is more on the expensive side, be prepared to pay at least 35€/person without wine for a "normal" meal
MoreFood is nice & fresh. Service could be better.
Literally the best Lasagne I’ve had in all of Italy. (My family that lives in Italy agreesIt is the dish that I always get here when I come to eat (and I’ve been many times). I highly recommend the salume platter as well. Absolutely get the Lambrusco della casa (the restaurants’ wine), since you’re in Parma that’s absolutely what you have to drink! Lambrusco is a regional wine of the surrounding area of Parma.I’ve seen many reviews of this being a tourist trap so before I reviewed it I went to other restaurants in Parma Centro to compare prices and quality and I will say that this is absolutely the restaurant to eat at for an authentic Parmense taste and cuisine.
MoreLoved this place. Although it was on the tourist road, the food was excellent, the prosciutto beautifully cut, Maria was especially friendly( and a great photographer and had a great sense of humour .. highly recommended!
MoreWent for Sunday lunch. Really lovely traditional Italian food, beautifully cooked and presented. Great service despite being completely full. Inside old and atmospheric. Definitely worth finding and visiting.
MoreMore expensive than most restaurants in Parma, but food was outstanding
Authentic and well prepared local food. Friendly service.
Exceptional. And the house wine list is as far as you need to go. Could not recommend this place more. What Italy is all about: no nonsense, just deliciousness.
MoreDelicious food (platters of meat and parmesan, fried pasta)
Although the Prosciutto Di Parma is really delicious, you get exactly only 8 slides of it for 16 eur....
MoreSo good tradicional local food!
The eatery is nice, the location is cool and the staff quite professional. As for the food, not bad at all.
MoreGood food but poor value for money. A rather basic meal with a taste of local hams and parmesan cheese, a glass of Lambrusco and a simple dessert will set you back nearly 40 euros per person. The service is just about ok.
MoreAmazing food. It was all delicious. Great selection of food, drinks and desserts. Definitely recommend eating here.
MoreExcellent food, great atmosphere, professional staff. Defenitly the "go to" place in Parma
MoreOrder the mixed sliced meats and tagliatelle with black boar ragu.
The Sorelle Pichi restaurant / Parma is an excellent fine Italian Cuisine. It has a pleasant ambience, friendly service and a very high quality standard of food and wine, especially pasta. My personal suggestion for 1 M. star. (This is a true valuation, assessment, not a fake.)
MoreFabulous service, delicious Italian dishes.
Polite and professional service. Decent wine list. Incredible trio of polenta and anolini are perfect. Will return and bring friends, can’t wait!!
MoreSo happy I chose to have diner here. Fresh ingredients. Incredibly kind staff. Delicious menu
MoreService was ok and the servers spoke descent english. We asked for an English menu and they said they didnt have one. We later found out the did have one posted on the front of the restaurant, which maybe they didnt want to recommend so we were getting up to decide our meals but this was frustrating because we were almost guessing what dishes we wanted. You could tell the noodles were fresh and of quality but they lacked flavor. Overall, unsatisfied with both of our entrees as they lacked flavor and the service was only descent at best. This was frustrating when you want to spend a little extra money for a better experience. I would not recommend, if you are choosing between restaurants I would go with your other option.
MoreGreat Italian food!! I love it
Food was so amazing and the service was excellent. I will visit again 👍
Great place. Friendly staff. Excellent food
Fantastic food cosy and friendly
Rally bad. Disappointed with the service. Impolite waiters. Expensive.
Excellent Italian restaurant in the Hart of Parma.More pleasant in the summer with the terrace in the street, though the dining room is pleasantly decorated. Usual cold cuts of ham, we had very nice tagliolini with asparagus & the must... Oso Buco with the most amazing mash potato, it had almost more parmesan cheese than potato.Well worth the try
MoreDelicious food, have to enjoy the different hams and Parmesan cheeses. The risotto with ham, asparagus and mushrooms is to die for
MoreTasty food, good service, quite big portions, good wine choice.
The food was ok, I had the gnocchi...maybe I chose wrong. However, the service was good and our food came rather quickly. Interesting ambiance.
MoreTrue Italuan restaurant, oldest in Parma. It has posters of Verdis operas.
Similar to my last review trained personnel, great wine and meal selection and delicious deserts! We stopped by to have lunch and didnt regret it at all! We had the anolini in brodo (type of tortellini in brothand gnocchi di castagne con strolghino (gnocchi made of Chestnut flour with a type of salami of the region).
MoreFantastic!
Very very bad service. We asked a plate of parmiggiano and a plate of salume and were told that we had to ask another plate. Later theybrought the three plates at the same time.
MoreHorrible service! Dont waste a night in Parma at place
Great service and food! The Chicche is delicious, a must have. They are also vegetarian friendly and accept special requests.
MoreGreat food, but is super expensive! The prices of the extras are RIDICULOUS!Examples:-3€ for the "coperto" per person-2€ for an espresso (usually the espresso in a restaurant of this category costs 1€ or 1,5€ max)-3€ for a macchiato (????)-3€ for waterAre you kidding me? 3€ for a macchiato????Ill NEVER come back here to pay half of the bill on this kind of extras that usually cost at least 50% less in a normal restaurant.
MoreGood food open until late for lunch.
Great cold cuts, Torta Fritta and Tortino di patate! Simple and tastefull!
Good service and taste food. Nice dessert as well.
We had an aperitivo here and we must say that the quality and the food was really great! A lot of different selections of cold meat, cheese and local stuff.
MoreCame in mid August so probably relatively quiet ... got a table for two no problem. Service was thoroughly professional and attentive - two older guys and a younger woman serving. All really friendly, helpful and very spirited. Pasta two ways (ricotta and pumpkinwas very good but the slow cooked veal shank in a rich gravy & porcini was just excellent and sooooo tender - five hours al forno. Very generous portion too. Big recommendation from us.
