Soon - Ristorante coreano in Bologna

We were excited to try this restaurant. We went a few weeks ago, entered, then stood waiting to be seated for several minutes. The 2 staff members saw us and did nothing. Nobody greeted us. Nobody said hello. Nothing. We were left waiting to be greeted. So, after several minutes we left and cannot understand how staff do not know how to even say welcome or hello to customers. It wasn’t busy at all. Please don’t ever treat any future customers so poorly.

Piaciuto abbastanza, anche se non riprenderei i piatti da cuocere sul barbecue incorporato in ogni tavolo, meglio una grigliata in una trattoria tradizionale emiliana nel caso. Per quanto riguarda invece i piatti più esotici invece tutto bene. Locale carino con luci soffuse e servizio gentile. Parcheggio non facile, visto che si trova su viali che circondano il centro e in cui non si può parcheggiare.

Locale molto carino, con una bella atmosfera tranquilla. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile, il cibo buonissimo e molto ben presentato. Menzione donore per i dolci particolarmente curati.

Ristorante bellissimo, Pranzo delizioso e prezzi adeguati. Potrebbe sembrare caro confrontandolo a un solito “all u can eat”, ma la differenza e la qualità si percepiscono, è nettamente superiore.🇰🇷❤️

THE best korean restaurant we have ever been to in Europe. I love korean bbq at the table in South Korea, and you can do that here! The place looks fantastic, and the food was absolutely authentic according to both my korean girlfriend and my growing experience with korean food.

Questo ristorante molto fuori mano a Bologna ha un nome coreano e dice di servire cibo coreano. Ma ATTENZIONE, non è gestito da coreani. Quando ci siamo accorti di questo "dettaglio", ho ordinato un piatto cinese dal menu, anche perchè il champong è generalmente fatto dai cinesi ( e questi del ristorante sono cinesi ). Sottolineo che Il problema non è la nazionalità dei proprietari o dei cuochi. Il cibo è cattivo, fatto male, con prodotti di pessima qualità e non si avvicina minimamente alla cucina coreana o cinese. Il mio champong era fatto di ramen pre confezionato, due frutti di mare congelati, nessuna verdura, e brodino da polvere. Il solito contorno coreano che si porta in tavola era vecchio e vergognoso. Nessun segno di kimchi. Il kimbap era fatto malissimo, cadeva a pezzi. Insomma, un disastro... si spacciano come cucina barbecue coreana, con prezzi altissimi, ma fuori la location decorata a modo di gran ristorante, il resto è veramente scarso.

Esperienza culinaria molto piacevole!Abbiamo preso i ravioli di carne (manduper antipasto (davvero ottimie bibimbap (riso verdure e uovo crudo in terrina caldapoi gogi special (mix di carne marinata da cuocere sulla piastrae kimchi.Tutto davvero buonissimo. Anche i dolci sono stati allaltezza della cena.Davvero una piacevole serata.

Unesperienza molto interessante...Molti piatti richiamano la tradizione coreana.Sicuramente da provare il barbecue, la frittata di kimchi, i bibibimbap, i ravioli di carne molto buoni rispetto a molti altri posti. Con anche alcuni secondi molto particolari e sfiziosi.Una nota stonata, va ai ramen.Staff veramente eccellente e cordiale. Un merito speciale alla grande Jenny responsabile del locale.

We live in Korea for 3.5 years before move to Bologna. Definitely Soon can bring the memories back of Korean food.We recommends to try bibim bap (mixed rice with veggies and meatsand also the Mandu (dumplingis also great.For BBQ, the spicy Sam Gyup Sal (pork bellyis good to try. They also have the regular Sam Gyup Sal as well with some sauce provided for flavor. For sure, its frozen meat here in Bologna and with electric grill so definitely not authentic as using charchoal grills.The Ramyun (noodleswith seafood / meat is OK.

I’m so sad to write this review because I had high hopes based on the many other high reviews.The restaurant itself is absolutely lovely - pleasing aesthetically and the staff is welcoming. It seems very clean and tidy. Unfortunately, that’s where the good stuff ends.The food was truly the most bland, flavorless, and unappealing mess I’ve ever had. I’m a huge fan of Korean food, and we probably eat it at home at least once per week. I’ve never had Korean food like this anywhere else in the world. The meat was literally flavorless - no marinade at all. It’s not seasoned with anything, in fact. When I asked for gochang or red bean paste, I was told they only had the standard condiments. What are the “standard condiments”, you ask?? Olive oil. Balsamic vinegar. Salt and pepper. No sesame oil. No black vinegar even. The japchae was flat - no sesame oil flavor at all. It seemed liked it was noodles and vegetables dressed in soy sauce. The mandu were gummy and tough with unremarkable filling.Additionally, the meat doesn’t really “barbecue”. It cooks atop a paper grill liner that doesn’t allow it to brown at all - it just sort of boils in its own juice.I feel bad for folks who think this is authentic Korean food. Korean food is meant to be spicy, pungent, and .delicious This is the opposite of that.

Really fancy looking place. Tho its hard to make a reservation because they are very busy with the phone apparently. They have a great choice of korean dishes but it didnt taste that authentic. No waitors or waitresses that are korean. So the BBQ was overall ok but i missed the most important ingredients like KIMCHI and Ssamjang. They only bring it when you ask for it. Also the side dishes are not korean at all. Its worth an experience since its the only korean restaurant in Bologna. But dont think, thats how it is in Korea.

Ma che piacevole scoperta!Location dallo stile chic e moderno, tavoli ben distanziati tra di loro in quanto dispongono di spazio in abbondanza.Menù vastissimo! Ho avuto modo per la prima volta in vita mia di provare il ramen (ho scelto il pyojune mi è piaciuto particolarmente. Consiglio anche di provare i “mandu”, ossia degli analoghi dei ravioli al vapore molto gustosi.Per completare al 100% l’esperienza è assolutamente necessario provare uno dei piatti BBQ che puoi cucinarti sulla piastra presente a tavola in base alle tue preferenze. Io ho apprezzato molto il Gogi Special.Servizio cordiale.Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale!

One of the best place ive ever been!Cibo buonissimo: il mio preferito son stati i ravioli al vapore!Bellissima lidea della griglia e la carta da forno che, sinceramente, trovo una scelta molto igienica. In pochi ristoranti riesco ad uscirne piena e soddisfatta, dato che digerisco malissimo il cibo, ma questo ristorante mi ha resa piena e felice <3

Locale chic e servizio veloce, camerieri molto disponibili. Tutto buono, non ho gradito la pancetta e la salsa di accompagnamento alla carne, ma nel complesso ho apprezzato tutto. Torneremo sicuramente.

Not too bad.

Bellissimo locale appena fuori le mura, confortevole e pulito e il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Possibilità di cucinare ciò che si ordina tramite una piastra al centro di ogni tavolo. Menù molto vario, il cibo è ottimo e la carta dei vini fornitissima.

Ennesimo ristorante "pseudo orientale" che vorrebbe proporre cucina etnica coreana. Ambiente curatissimo ma quando si va a leggere il menù comincia ad insinuarsi un gran dubbio: filetti di pesce fritto, pesce persico, orata alla griglia sono discutibili esempi di cucina coreana per non parlare della terribile lista dolci a prezzi epici dove non ce nè uno che rispecchi la tradizione ma paiono presi da una qualunque pasticceria italiana di alta qualità ma non certo orientale). Ho ordinato un ramen per iniziare. Dopo mezzo secondo avevo già capito la furbata. Ramen istantaneo di pessima qualità (quello del supermercato per intendercicon 4 pezzetti di manzo e tre verdurine con un brodo totalmente insapore. Arrivano i ravioli. Identici a quelli cinesi per sapore e consistenza, il che mi è parso strano. Provo unaltro piatto tradizionale (almeno secondo loroovvero una ciotola con sotto il riso e sopra: verdure miste (poco salate), un uovo allocchio di bue FREDDO e qualche pezzettino di manzo buttato li. Cose che mi hanno lasciato parecchio perplesso oltre che il gran finale con il the in bustina. Il tipico ristorante per chi non conosce minimamente la cucina orientale oppure gli basta riempirsi la pancia con qualcosa di differente. Si mangia meglio al ristorante cinese e a Bologna ce ne sono diversi di ottimi. Una delusione enorme.Lasciate perdere!

Tutto buonissimo. Consigliati specialmente i ramen, che hanno un sapore molto equilibrato, apprezzabili anche da chi non ama la cucina orientale. Possibilità di cuocere da sè la carne sulla piastra presente sul tavolo, ma apprezzo molto di più i piatti cucinato e condito da loro. Prezzi molto contenuti.

Locale molto elegante e ampio subito fuori dalle mura. Il menu è molto vario, dai piatti unici ai dolci. Sono rimasta incantata dalla piastra per la cottura dei cibi, presente su ogni tavolo: idea geniale. Personale molto cortese è disponibile. Definitely very good. Very attentive service from a hard-working staff. Beautiful decor. We are big fans of Korean restaurants from years living in SF Bay Area. So, to our taste the dishes were not as flavorful as we expected. Even my bibimbap con calamari piccanti was lacking in spiciness and flavor. Perhaps things are toned-down for the Italian preferences. We will definitely return, and I will request additional heat.

Amazing food and the service was great

Locale bellissimo, ampio, ben arredato e confortevole. Piatti buonissimi e saporiti con possibilità di utilizzare la piastra barbecue elettrica presente ad ogni tavolo. Menù ampio e vario, a pranzo sono presenti diversi menù a prezzo fisso con possibilità di aggiungere anche altri piatti. Consiglio vivamente alla fine del pasto di richiedere il menù dei dolci con tante varie proposte, a mio parere la tropical cheesecake merita tantissimo, buona ma non esageratamente dolce. Io personale è gentile, disponibile e sa metterti a tuo agio. Rapporto qualità - prezzo giusto.

Location ampia e elegante, con tavoli grandi che presentano la griglia per fare il barbecue sia di carne che di pesce. Abbiamo adorato i ravioli di carne, veramente i più buoni mai mangiati, molto buono anche il bibimbap, tutti ingredienti di qualità, saporiti e ben trattati, buoni e particolari i dolci. Il personale di sala gentile. Su entrambe le porte è presente la dicitura di cani non ammessi, quindi deduco non sia un locale pet friendly.

This is a NOT authentic KOREAN. Dont get be fooled. The menus are Korean menu but taste very much like chinese food.Dont get me wrong. Nice interior and all. Food does not taste so bad, but it’s far from how authentic Korean food tastes. Of course I havent tasted every menu but just from few dishes I can tell they might not be using necessary essential Korean ingredients.I just hope people knows this, and I am sad as well because this might be the one of very few Korean restaurants in this region. If you wanna enjoy the ambience of a Korean restaurant, this can be a choice but dont expect authentic Korean food.

Una menzione donore va a piatti, bicchieri e bacchette tipici.Staff gentile, cordiale e disponibile.Prezzi nella media, ma con proposte di "menù già fatti" molto economiche.Cibo eccellente, vasta scelta per tutti i palati. In particolare, i dolci tipici sono nientedimeno che capolavori celesti.Ho vissuto, in conclusione, unesperienza mistica, un viaggio stupefacente in un mondo di sapori nuovi, colorati e sorprendenti.Consigliatissimo, dal profondo del cuore, perché è lì che questo ristorante ha saputo arrivare ❤️🇰🇷

Its not a 5 stars, but definitely more than 4, so ill lean over the above average.Friendly and attentive staff, very affordable prices, well kept restaurant, good food quality; some dishes flavor was a bit bland, but the side sauces helped with that.Overall a pleasant surprise, recommended.

Not a real Korean. The grills on the tables use a paper instead if a proper metal grid. My tofu soup was too watery and with no flavour. Not recommended!

Beautiful decor and great food. The shrimp dumplings are a must and everything is a reasonable price. We’re from LA and have ate at plenty of Korean restaurants in Korea town and I can honestly say that this place is acceptable. My favorites were the dumplings and kimchi. Sauces are all amazing.
