Sonic Drive-In in Vernal

Hit or miss. The food is not bad one trip then the next day the food is terrible. Not very consistent.Frequently handed out drinks that have been overfilled and not wiped "very messy"long lines.

Not the best food or service this time. We didnt even get our whole order and when they figured out that we were looking in the bag the car hop came back handed us one of our missing sandwiches and then told us one wasnt available. It just wasnt professional They could have said something to us when they brought our food.

Love coming here during happy hour for a cheap coke with vanilla or Dr Pepper with cherry and vanilla BUT the service can be really slow most the time.

i have been to sonics all over the US and this is by far the worst i have been too, i gave them a chance and have been 5 times and everytime the food is horrible and the wait is ridiculous even when there isnt a line. they really need to work on the food.

Would only sell one bag of ice! Service was friendly but a little slow.

Quality of the food has gone down while the prices have gone up. Ice cream and drinks are the only things worth getting here. The rest of the food is just okay. Id rather go to Wendys to be honest.

coming from someone who also works in fast food, this is the best place in town. i have never had my order messed up, the food is fresh and hot, they are super quick (even when they are super busy), and everybody who works here that i’ve come across is so unbelievably nice. no matter the time of day. i have left multiple times in a better mood because the person who helped me was kind. i don’t continue to visit because of the food, i keep coming back because the people here are simply the best.

Absolutely worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Im curious how you will bring a customer food without napkins, and no utensils to eat chili cheese fries with. When I knocked on the door to ask for a fork, since she ignored me the first time I asked her for one, she got an attitude with me. GO TO FREDDYS food is better there as well

Super slow service. Amount was 4.96, had five and still was told to hold on even though I just wanted my two drinks and no change. Sheesh!

Great food for our small town! I would say theyre 1st in town for price and quality for the fast food choices we have in Vernal!

I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed my food here. I got the chicken sandwich and it was sure tasty!

Even during their super busy lunch hour we got our food in less than 8 minutes. Wife loves their burgers :)

Good food and large selection of good drinks/shakes/smoothies. Just beware that orders arent extremely accurate sometimes, especially if youre allergic to anything. (Carefully check your food before you eat if you are)

Great friendly pleasant service. I always order special due to multiple allergies. They go out of their way to check and double check the order to assure I get it correct the first time. If they make a mistake they fix it kindly and quickly. No eye rolling or heavy sighs, even with a young staff they are very polite and helpful. And the food is always hot and fresh.

Burritos just arent good. I do still love the tator tots and cherry limeade, but this time my tots were cold and the cherry limeade needed more cherry.

always have a good experience here, they are usually pretty quick on the food and drinks and always serve with a smile. 10/10 would recommend the onion rings

Its kinda slow, and the food is okay. But the shakes and drinks are worth it.

1st time ever eating this place and the double burger was tasty but the tater tots were disgustingly overcooked and gross! Threw them in the garbage.

Staff was friendly, but service was super slow, and my slush didnt even have strawberries in it as advertised. With such a low bar set, its crazy they tripped over it. Im sure its not always like this.

They completely messed up our orders. Werent even close. The food was great though, and this was our first problem with them.

This Sonic showed me what a Sonic can be. Our local Sonics are nowhere near this quality. Everything they made for us was great. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger and it looked so delicious. We had fries and tater tots that were all cooked perfectly with a little bit of a crisp. Our local Sonic cannot be bothered to cook the food long enough. We had fresh pretzels. I even thought the coffee they made me was delicious and I will not order coffee from my local Sonic. I was so happy we stopped here. Everybody was so nice as well and the service was fast even though they were packed with people.

Always a good option, especially when youre craving a specific flavored drink. You know you can it there. Cherry Lime Rickey? Why yes please!

Not satisfied:(I ordered a grape slush with nerds, took a sip, no grape. So I took off the lid and there was no colour. The only flavor was nerds :(

If you’re going to change your business hours, even temporarily, you should probably post it somewhere. Maybe on your website or on your Facebook page? I’ve never gotten any decent food there but I figured a shake was a safe bet. Google says 11pm. Facebook says 11pm. After waiting for ten minutes we are told “We are closing at 10 for the next few weeks.” Thanks for letting everyone know. I’m done here.

OK, so I have to change my review. I have now ordered three different times, a cherry limeade and every time they have not put the cherries in it. Today I even paid more to have extra cherries to be added and nothing. I dont know what happen. Maybe they are trying to save money and not give people what they ordered. I am sure you do this all day every day its adds up. Either way sad......

The reason why Im giving Sonic Drive-In in Vernal, Utah a five star rating is because the staff were super friendly and they were also really super helpful. Plus also the food is amazingly delicious too. Their crispy chicken wraps are so good. Also you can add a fruitful flavor to you drink. In my opinion I think mixing the blue raspberry in Sprite is a really good drink to try at Sonic. In general if you have a craving for good drive-in food I would definitely recommend the Sonic Drive-In at Vernal, Utah.

No muss no fuss! Go there often for the cheap 1/4 lb cheese burger and an order of supremely greasy and tasty fries. The burger tastes just like the ones I used to get at any of the nasty diners that I used to frequent as a child, EFFEN DELICIOUS!

Burgers and shakes are very good. Wait time was a little long this last visit, but they were slammed. The waitress was friendly even though she was going crazy Im sure.

Great food and was hot! They forgot our sauce and we held up the line waiting. Overall great food though.

My buffalo nuggets were good. My lemonade peach drink was lacking a good peach flavor, but the lemonade was good. First time there, so maybe next time will get a 5 star.

Previous 3 visits were great all around. In the past the service was so bad I quit going here for years. UPDATE!!!: today is 10-20-20 and they dropped from 4 to 2 stars because the girl taking orders was rude. She had her spiel memorized and said it so fast I couldnt understand her. She had to repeat it twice. At the window, I said if she talked a bit slower I could have understood her.The worker replied that theyre getting new speakers so thats why I couldnt understand her. I said, okay but when you slowed down, I could. The worker replied I was THE ONLY ONE who has said she talks too fast.Good customer service: someone says youre talking too fast... just apologize and talk a bit slower. Why argue and try to make the customer feel like theyre stupid?I eat take out 3+ times a week and I dont have trouble elsewhere.

Thank you for wearing your mask. Were from out of town visiting your area and nobody is wearing a mask. We come to Sonic and I see all the employees wearing mask and sanitizing the order screens. Thank you very much. I totally felt safe coming to your establishment.

They have never, not one-single-time gotten my order right! How hard is no mayo no tomato? Its ridiculous! Its my husbands favorite fast food place, but we have stopped going because no matter how much we explain or ask mine comes with mayo and tomato everything.

The shakes come perfect thick and still soft, you can customize anything. They have crazy flavors of slushes like nerds and their burgers are amazing i recommend you try:)

Sonic is the ode to the old drive up restaurants which has some fun charm but definitely has some disadvantages. The food is generally above average fast food, with a great selection of slushies and shakes. From 2-4pm is a happy hour when all drinks and slushies are half off. If you need a minute for people to decided park and order, the ordering process is great with the ability to swipe your card at the menu. Some of the disadvantages is when Sonic is busy they are more prone to make human error mistakes. It is all good but I seem to have a disproportionate of mix ups from Sonics (this is at all locations od the franchise.The staff at this Sonic has always been friendly, courteous, and professional.

I have not been in many years. The burgers were good. The chicken strip meal was dry and over cooked. I had to call back in and wait for dipping sauce and napkins. I will probably try again and see how it goes.

I came in during a heavy lunch rush. Considering the work load that particular day, the folks made good time getting my food out to me. Order was accurate, service was pleasant.The chicken dinner holds the #1 spot for me, but my brother likes the bacon cheeseburger. Onion rings are pretty good, too, but theyre better known for the tater tots.

Stop in for a slushy Service was Really fast and they were busy on a Saturday afternoon. The slushy was Excellent. The outside sitting area was shady and very clean. Excellent place to stop on a bike ride. Thank you. Namaste

Went there tonight and the teeny boppers that were working were completely useless. We were doing our order and every other word was is that everything? Wheres the customer service?? We asked for some ranch and fry sauce when we were placing our order which they didnt put in our bag (no surprise thereand when we got to the window and asked for those items the girl gave us an attitude. Sorry you had to do your damn job.. Not impressed. Dont know if anybody reads these but definitely wont be going there for a while until they hire real people that know how to do their jobs.

Four stars food hot and fresh drinks cold and delicious but the wait time, a bit long. But not much to complain about. Nice friend Sonics here in vernal Ut my go to place for late night snacks.

Slow. Poor customer service. Slow. Mess up orders. Oh, and did I mention slow?? An hour in line for Happy Hour and then someone saying that happy hour is over. Unless they are slaughtering the cow for burgers or milking it for shakes...why in the heck does it take that long?!?!

We had a good visit here with fairly quick service sitting outside not in our car. The burgers were tasty and the ice cream was delicious what more can be said. Whats the prices work so expensive but what can you do with a chain restaurant.

I would really like to meet with the owners and order lunch with them while the employees had no idea who was ordering so they could see how bad the service is. if it was just the long wait times or just bad service then i could look past those things but it is a constant and consistent issue with this sonic .Todays visit is what prompted this review i ordered a 5pc chicken strip dinner and a kids meal once i recieved my order i look in the box and it had 4 strips in the box they did correct the issue but if it takes 10 min in a drive through to put an order out it should be correct.I believe the issues here could be fixed if either the owners (aknew there was an issue (b)took the time to train these young works properlyOh and the employees that were working were very nice and i believe doing the best they can

My husband and I ordered two chili cheese tater tots and two hot poppers. The total came up to $17.89. We waited 23 minutes for our food in the Drive-Thru. My opinion not worth the money not worth the time

Service is always good. Never had a bad meal.My complaint is with the (NOTsweet tea. About the time management changed, so did the sweet tea.For the record-true SWEET TEA is made with 2 cups of sugar per gallon of tea. Thats the southern recipe, and sweet tea is a SOUTHERN thing.The sweet tea now doesnt even taste like sugar was accidentally spilled into it. It tastes just like regular tea.Please bring back SWEET tea!!!! I want to be a loyal customer, but you are making it impossible!
