Stuff is friendly and pretty quick during lunch time but a bit slower during evening. Food always delicious and I end up in this restaurant already 4 times (and still planning to go one more time.As the restaurant is on the beach, you can watch sunset, locals to enjoy beach, you can listen live music…. it’s absolutely amazing.Also they have expresso coffee which is strong and cost just 60 dalasis.Gambian food, fresh fish…just name it. Also good cocktails.Prices are average I would say.

La Beach Bar Solomons is a great plaxe to relax, have a beer, good food and meet people. Every Thursday the german Comunity is meeting here.

Love love changed a lot over the years liked it when you had the fruit ladys on the beach and the craft shops were nearby seems like the little craft shops been pushed to far back bring back the stalls on the beach ⛱ good old day

Such a nice place! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have many vegetarian food options (take Solomon’s special!and a wonderful terrace + sun beds from which to admire the sunset. The toilets are clean. We will have to come back for the veg English breakfast 😍

Nice place to hang out on the shores of the smiling coast (The Gambialovely beach setting with loads of sunshine. Solomons signature dish fish and prawns grilled in foil leaves,my mouth watering long after I left. Pocket friendly, too. A good place to go alone or with the family. I strongly recommend to all who love Sea, Sun, Sand and Surf...

You can stay in the bar or at the veranda which is the corridor, having direct view of the beach because its spotted at the beach bank at Palma strip... I love eating plain fried chips because its lovely with malt and a bottle water, laying on the sun (beachbed

Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere near the beach, service was very friendly and quick, and the food was nice.

Service is a tad slow but other than that it was all great! Friendly staff and some very tasty veg domada.

Weve been there for dinner around 5 pm and first of all have to point out that the flies were quite annoying at this time. The waiter was very friendly and nice to us. Food however was terrible, especially my portion of fish and chips. The chips were very soft and oily, while the fish smelled heavily so I was afraid it was spoiled. Very unpleasant experience.

A nice place to relax and have a drink, but the food has got worse in the last 2 years. Today my friend had breaded fish fingers, I had a prawn cocktail. We both had diarrhea soon after. It was also nearly impossible to get the attention of any waiter, they seemed to disappear into thin air!

I was very shocked and disappointed at the extortionist prices of the drinks since my last visit. How will you get tourist to return???

I really enjoy this place. Great location on the beach near my favorite hotel Luigis Complex.Ive eaten here in low and high season and the food is consistantly good. The west African dishes (yassa and benachin/ thieboudinneare great. Lots of other good items to choose from as well (steak, chicken, fish, etc.).Good place to get a drink and/or a meal and watch the day or evening passby.

Food is OK, prices a little high than average and if youre really hungry, dont come here, they spend more than 30 minutes just for a smoothie and more than that for the food. There is not cake and the "bowl of ice cream" is just a "single ice cream ball".Ps: the tequila comes without salt and lemon.Pps: coffee also comes with a delay.

Bring a lot of time if you want to come here. Food is really good but not worth the long wait. And the dont have half of the desserts on the menu

This low-key spot is a hidden gem. The view of the beach is spectacular. I could sit and watch the ocean for hours. I wasn’t a huge fan of their fish in foil but found the chicken peri peri to be incredible!!!

Food is reasonably priced, we paid D1355 for 3 meals and drinks approximately £20. Favouites;Seafood Tagliatelle, Fish and Seafood cooked in foil, Almonds,chicken and vegitable stir fry.

Beautiful place to sit and eat on the beach. Car can be parked close. Prices are normal. Food is good. Try the fish in foil!

Actually the fish in foil was overcooked and not very nice. Half chicken was overcooked and dry which happens in most Gambian restaurants. However the service was reasonably quick.

Ive been coming here since I was 12 years old (33 nowmy grandparents live near by. This bar is always the one place I think about when I think about coming my holidays. The staff are lovely and the food is great! worth the wait for food as it can take a while to arrive. its the best shrimp and chips in town! plus the added bonus of the fresh fruit stall near by. Id give it 10 stars. Cant wait to go back!

Great location but 50% of both the food and drinks menu is never available. What food is available is really good.

Enjoying the beach, the sea and the sun on the free sunbeds.Drinks and foods are not expensive, even for Gambian standards.
