Solera in San Juan

Really cool spot! Its the outside restaurant/lounge for the hotel. Ruby our server was very friendly and attentive! Food was great too!

Called to see if they were open the person that answered sounded drunk but said they were open, we got here and the door girl was super rude and said we needed a wrist band to eat there just left. A disclaimer saying you have to stay at the hotel would be nice so someone doesn’t waste their time going there.

Servicio descollante en un lugar muy bien puesto, dentro del complejo Hotel Casino La Concha, con una carta acotada, muy bien presentada y con productos de excelencia. La atención es impecable, y se tiene siempre la sensación de estar cómodo y distendido desde el momento en que se ingresa. Por la noche, es ideal para una cena romántica y los precios no son bajos, pero la experiencia bien lo merece.

This place is inside the MGM property. The food was very tasty and the cocktails were amazing. I would love to visit again in future. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was disappointed the chicken breast I ordered was white and had no flavor. The yellow plantins were undercooked. The rice and pigeon peas were good. I understand the kitchen was backed up but this was not it!

A little pricey, as you might expect from a beach resort. But the food and drinks were tasty, and portion sizes were good.

The food was what you would expect for hotel food. There are no vegan options on the menu but you can modify. I had the salad. We also had the local chips (they were different root vegetables and pretty tasty). We also had fries and drinks one day. The drinks were good and there a plenty of options!

Holy Bussin food, fantastic view, great people. The spicy carrot peanut butter milkshake is always my favorite! Highly recommend!

It’s safe to say we drank our weight in these pina coladas this week. Amazing.

Wanted to see the waterfalls, get out of San Juan for the day. Beautiful foliage, lizards 🦎 and thankfully missed any other critters.

Good food, served with a smile

The food wasn’t bad .. but too expensive for what it was… we order the fish tacos, 2 hamburgers and the chicken flat bread. The service is really delayed ..

We tried to eat at Solera tonight, and made a reservation in advance on Open Table. When we arrived for the reservation, the manager told us to choose a table, and a server would be over. Well, someone brought us a menu, but no one ever came over to take even our drink order. After about 15 minutes, we flagged down a server and let them know we hadnt been helped yet. They said theyd " be right over" to take our drink order, but never came. Ten minutes later, we flagged down someone else, and asked if we could place our order. They said theyd be right back. After waiting 45 minutes and asking 3 different employees for help, we still hadnt even been able to place a drink order, let alone our food order. It was pretty ridiculous considering we had a RESERVATION. We finally just left. Very disappointing for a meal we were really looking forward to on our vacation.

Don’t make reservations on the weekends they don’t state you have to be guest. Wasted our time and day.

Beautiful view. Went here on a Sunday afternoon (Covid19 times), they used all precautions. I didn’t stay at the hotel but I made a reservations and they gave me no hassle. The food & drinks were good. Had the Frozé & Walk On A Beach and they were pretty good.

I would give less ⭐️ if the service was terrible but our server was actually good. Food is overpriced for what they are. They taste decent. A little on the salty side. Serving amount is small, for brunch or lunch. Drinks are far from strong. Overpriced for artificial flavoring.We weren’t allowed to exit to the “public beach”. Seating close to the pool which should be the highlight of the place is not allowed if you’re not staying in the hotel. Kinda disappointed, I planned to have a good day by this “pool bar” next to “the beach!” Only few people reserve and spend as much as we did but yeah. Whatever. Not blaming the workers for doing their jobs but I don’t think that it’s well managed. There was no host to seat and inform guests either.

Amazing food, their stake with eggs is delicious. The meat is good quality, and drinks are sooo good. Great a vacation spot and must visit if you are looking to relax on a nice day by the pool

Worst place at the shore. Drinks are horrible, been waiting for food for ages. Even one star is to good for this place. Not recommend at all

Went for brunch with my girlfriends and everything was great. We ended up staying much longer than expected. The service was excellent, so was the food and drinks. Would definitely recommend!

The watermelon sangria is good!

The service was great! Ahi tuna steak, truffle fries, yucca fries were excellent. The burger was overdone, so perhaps ask for done medium. That said, good local beer selection and a second shout out for the service.

Solera is located in La Concha hotel/resort - more or less in the middle of the complex - with an atrium courtyard for semi-outdoor seating. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our server was happy to give many recommendations on things to do and places to see when asked.The food was good - I had the Churrasco wrap and my gf had the fish tacos (with mahi mahi as the catch of the day). Both were good but the hot sauce - which had this tangy-ness to it not found in many hot sauces, trust me, Ive tried A LOT - was delicious.The prices were a bit high for what you get, but I attribute that to being in an upscale and touristy hotel.

Great quick lunch poolside, I got an angus burger and fries with bacon and American cheese, the burger was cooked perfectly and the bacon super crispy, fries were crispy as well, just how I like them, my daughter got a veggie burger, it was so tasty, filled with beans and pearl couscous and maybe some quinoa, she is super picky but like this burger a lot. Will definitely return

This hotel has a nice vibe and view but the food is not very good. The restaurant’s grill smells like a fast food restaurant so it’s unpleasant to sit within 50ft of it.Every dish we ordered was eatable but unimpressive. The mac and cheese was dull, the soup uninteresting, the sushi dry and with non fresh ingredients, and the drinks used cheap alcohol.The server was great.

Servicio rapido, amables y atento el mesero Brian. Solo que me sirvieron tortillas frias pero rapido me las reemplasaron. Disfrutamos la comida con amor. Gracias =)

Very friendly service and the food was pretty good

Arugula salad was just as expected. Food is good, beer is overpriced(no draft, only bottles). The place is a nice looking comfort food by the pool BUT service is way too slow. Prepare to way +45 min. Food:4/5. Place: 5/5. Service: 1/5. Overall: 3.3/5
