Beautiful place, yet overrun by commercial interests. Best visited during off season. Atal tunnel opening means it is becoming a pitstop, losing its earlier destination status... But still a beautiful place

Nice experiance, rates are bit high yet good activity for life time experiences.Must try when around the place. It is both way rope way travel. Little halt in one side and then it comes back. Can go in couple way via 2 seperate trackes.

Fun place but the paragliding is short. Good for kids. Family-friendly. Adults will prefer games in other parts which are more thrilling. When the ski line is not open, it gets a bit dull

Beautiful place with provision of paragliding adventure and ropeway riding@₹700 per person for 15 mins.Variety of food like roasted corn, momos, bread omelette etc.are available in higher prices.You can see roadside tree with plenty of apple.The road goes towards the Atal tunnel and Ladakh. Weather in the 1st week of October is very pleasant.Sad to say that there is only one public toilet without any water.

That is best place for holiday adventure, if want to visit there u go in November to March, because in this session you see snow fall other wise this place will just look like this 😊

Beautiful place to spend your leisure time in peace...there are various activities available like ropeway (₹700paragliding,zip line etc. There is a combo of ₹3500 for ropeway and paragliding and you can also ask for paragliding photos of yours at ₹500 extra

You can ride up to the top, where there are beautiful views, for 700 return. The final altitude is 3,200 metres. If you want to do the higher paragliding you have to have already bought your ticket at the bottom and then the 700 cable car ride is included as part of that price (~3,400 currently). There is a café with an enclosed space and an open space.

The view from the ropeway is amazing, there is a small cafe on the top which has some real tasty delicacies. Paragliding, ropeway, and other sports are also good. Saw people woth cite rabbits and goats, you can pet them and get a pic taken with them for Rs 20. Do try classic pizza and some drinks at the cafe. The experience was good, spent a few hours and spent some time with the locals up the ropeway.

Visited - June 2022A great experience for a adventure.The ropeway takes through the mountain till the station on top and tourists can enjoy the scenic views and roam around through the hill , looking at mesmerizing valleys and snow capped mountains.Tourists can enjoy the paragliding at three different levels.There are various food stalls surrounding the place , and cafes within the center. An ATM is also made available.Overall great experience

Solang Valley is at a distance of about 16 kms from Manali. There are activities like ropeway, paraglide, balloon. Paraglide Small costs Rs 1000, Paraglide Big costs Rs 3400 and Ropeway costs Rs 700. There is parking facility. You can enjoy these activities when you come back from Rotang Valley via Atal Tunnel. Children enjoy a lot at this place.

The cost is high , and the view was just OK , youll able to see better view in other places with less crowd .I was very much disappointed .I am attaching a few clicks I took while riding the ropeway.!

We visited this place in the month of May last week. We enjoyed rope way to the hill located 3700 meters MSL. Very good view. The hills around were covered with snow.Enjoyed the view.Enjoyed the paragliding.

A crowded but happening place. View is amazing. There are many street food vendors. You can do a lot of activities like horse riding, ropeway. I think it would looks more beautiful during winter season in white snow. Parking is free there.

Good experience. Though due to wind we got stuck on the other side for some time because ropeways couldnt be operated. But this place is beautiful. In summers its cold and peaceful in winters ice and so u can do skiing n all too. Chose the right season before going. There are n number of activities happening here.

Best place for paragliding. What an experience. Such a great place with good mannered instructors. Paragliding cost ₹3200, GoPro footage cost ₹500 extra. There are also photographers in the ground who take your photos while you are on air. They may charge upto ₹300.The experience of pure bliss. Such an adrenaline rushing experience. The paragliding package includes taking you via Ropeway to the top which itself cost ₹700. The instructors whom I flew with was really friendly and helpful in telling me what to do. Overall the best experience in my life

Good experience. Entry fee via ropeway is Rs700. A bit high. Good view of the snow mountain.Only one restaurant on the top that too a costly one. We had pizza from here. A good spot for photographs. Other activities like skeing etc are available only during snow fall times.

I tried the beginner para gliding here, and had a blast. My guide was really nice and kind and knew that I was a bit scared so he eased up during the take off and landing. I had fun.

Place for snow activities, dont fall for the trap of private land rather go to the top then book . Ropeway, scating, yak ride, snow scooter, atv driving is available through out the time .

It’s a place where you can do some adventure activities at nominal cost don’t forget to bargain at sometimes they ask for higher price for the activities. Beautiful place & you will be able to find nice food as well. Could be very crowded at season time.

Reviewing this on the basis of solang valley when it is covered in snow. There were multiple private operators who were facilitating Activities when I visited. The Ropeway charges are 700 but heard there is nothing special at the top, hence skipped. You can take snow costume for 250 rs which included gum boots, it saves your clothes from getting wet in snow. A must visit place if you want to enjoy in snow during winter.

A must visit place if you come to Manali. It has everything that you are waiting for. All sides covered with snow with beautiful mountains touching the white clouds. You can enjoy all sorts of snow sports and rides here. The rides are pricy but worthy ❤️It takes 1hour maximum to reach there from the Manali mall market. Simply doesnt get more awesome than this. Amazing view! Highly recommended to visit Solang Valley ,,I suggest at least once in our life we should visit to feel the breathtaking air and wind . So many activities there like Para Gliding, TubeRide, Skiing and you can also wear local traditional dress. I suggest hire local photographer to capture beautiful view . Plan your visit in morning because you can stuck in traffic jam.

Just go and enjoy in soft soft snow...its amazing..yes you have to take clothes on rent and shoes and there were some charges for the activities but you will surely enjoy..And for going to SOLANG now dont go by your car, take "SNOW BIKES" you will definately enjoy...Sharing some photos..Please try "ZIP LINE 1100 METERS, PARAGLIDING, SKING, TYRE ONE, THE BALL GAME" ❤️😍PS: For making video of ZIP line they charge extra like 300 to 400rs...

This is a must visit place if you are in Manali. Solang valley is gorgeous.Just an advice never book your rides on the way. Go to valley choose your ride and pay. On the way to solang you will find many places where they offer to book your rides.Remember to take snow clothes on rent with caps and shoes. Local suggested us to carry extra pair of gloves, cap and socks. After playing with snow all clothes get wet. So you will need to change them.Go early morning to Solang valley. Leave by 11 AM. Else you will stuck in traffic. Police is not efficient. They really need a strict officers to manage the traffic.We had a memorable trip. Thanks to heavy snow fall and lovely warm locals🥰

The cost of rope way is -700 each personRope way take you to very upper where you can enjoy snow but cost is to high if you want to enjoy snow take the walking route form there to shiv temple where so can enjoy a lot and its free or cost of you take horse ride it will cost you 500 per personAnd the cost of paragliding is 1000 for small route and 3000-3500 for long

Ropeway is not operational and closed for few days. You can do Paragliding and mountain biking here. You can take photos wearing dress of Himachali people. There are food stalls as well selling corn/Maggie etc.

There are two points of gliding there - a shorter one that lands you in little less than 5 mins and another longer one that goes up top from the mountain.There are ATVs that give you access to two routes. Will be quite a ride trekking on the mountain with the ATV
