Only good vibes here. The common areas are cozy, well maintained and functional. Free kayaks to use if you want to explore the surroundings. Room was very clean and good value for money. Don’t hesitate and book here!

Nice place really clean

Guest customer service is the worst i have encountered, i would have given a negative star if it was available. 2 of my reservations were moved from December to November due to Software issues on Airbnb, the reservation couldnt be cancelled in time due to thanksgiving break mishaps. However, this listing owner takes into account the room charges through their cleaning charges and refused to even refund a cleaning fee of the house(though it was not used. They will again charge the same cleaning fee to the next person who comes in and make away with 2 charges while they were not even used. Please be aware and careful of this kind of business by thieving people.

Todo muy bonito lo unico es que las estancias necesita un poco mas de TLC en cuánto al mantenimiento.

El lugar está limpio, que para mí es lo más importante. La terraza es rústica sencilla pero agradable te da una sensación de paz y puedes tomar unas fotos del atardecer muy bonitas.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. It looks nothing like the pictures if they place you on one of the rooms in the back. The hospitality was horrible. You can hear the other guests (and whoever they invitetalking, screaming and playing music when you’re trying to sleep.it was not clean and the bathrooms were gross. Also was hard to find parking. I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel it would be a disservice to not warn people about how awful this stay was. Please opt for any other place, the Airbnbs in the area were a lot cheaper and a lot better.

Excelente lugar, diferente y hermoso frente al mar un hermoso atardecer y amanecer , nos quedamos en la lancha algo diferente y aparte de los demás huéspedes , la cocina está equipada y los anfitriones son muy amables , volveré pronto !!!

Sol Casita is a very nice and clean place in Puerto Real, Cabo Rojo. Its very convinient to stay here. Loved my experience in it. You Will have all you need for your stay. Would definetly stay here again.

My boyfriend and I visited Sol Casita the first week of March 2020. We were suppose to stay 5 days but decided to leave early as we wanted to travel 2 hours north and didnt want to make the drive back. I initially found Sol Casita on Airbnb but booked directly through them because the room they offered on Airbnb did not have a private bathroom. The accommodations were ample but we have a bit of trouble with the mosquitoes and the bathroom layout itself. Mosquitoes made it difficult to get a restful nights sleep and you had to step up into the bathroom and step down out of it. It also had shutter doors which kinda made it difficult. The doors only went half way down. We wanted to try something different and this was definitely different. However, it wasnt all bad. This rental is situated on a boat dock with shared kitchen and lounging area. You will have access to the refrigerator, coffee maker, stove and toaster oven. I met some great people but also some annoying ones. When renting in a location such as this we should all be considerate of one another. Sol Casita is in an authentic Puerto Rican neighborhood with a few bars and restaurants. Over all this is a great place to rent for a night or two.

Me quedé del 27 al 29 de Diciembre, en la habitación el Camarote, según describieron las Facilidades así son, el cuarto Para 1 o 2 personas está bien, el baño tiene ducha, lavamanos y toilet, juntos(solo en una ocasión salió mal olor del bañola persona que renta el lugar es muy especifico con todos los detalles vía email que necesitas saber para tu estadía. Desde contraseñas hasta opciones de estacionamiento, la cocina bastante equipada, con utensilios para cocinar y estantería con cosas simples de comer, Tienen cafetera,(debes llevar tu café y azúcarte proveen toallas, kayak equipo de snorkeling, como parte de tu estadía, Facilidades limpias y es verdaderamente acogedor sientes literal que vives allí!!!Recomendaciones: Mapa de áreas limítrofes Para comer, comprar, divertirse entre otras.Recomendado 100% volveré pero en verano.

We stayed at Sol Casita for 8 days in June 2019. Its immaculate with wonderful funky decorations and easy going shared space on the water that includes a full kitchen. Zach is a very accommodating and gracious host. I highly recommend it!

Very nice place to sleep. But need a private bathroom for those who need a bathroom in the middle of the night. The rest is beautiful. Awesome little boat.

I loved the attention to detail! Everything was just PERFECTLY placed and the room was spotless!The hosts and even the locals were VERY courteous and accomodating. And the ocean view during dusk and dawn is DEFINITELY amongst the most beautiful sights in Puerto Rico. Well done!!!

Zach runs a small hostel right at the harbor.You can even rent a boat to sleep on the water.A very unique location.The pictures are from February 2018, shortly after Maria. I see that he did a lot more repairs and updates in the meantime.

My couple and I spent this weekend (Oct12-14at the yatch and unfortunately the experience was not the best. The shared bathroom was dirty with toilet papers in the trash can. The sink had hair from othe people and I had to clean with clorox wipes.The kitchen was dirty as well with food in descomposition like bread in a bag and more bread inside the broil oven. The refrigerator had food not in good apperance. In general, the place looked like is under remodeling, it seems like was not visited or cleaned recently. I believe the Sol Casita team shall not offer the place be in good conditions for the gests. Thanks.Mrs. Wendeliz Rodriguez 🇵🇷

Welcoming hosts in a charming guest house.

Came here with my girlfriend and the place was a dump. I wasnt expecting much based on the website but I figured for 2 nights it would be fine- however, floors were dirty, our bed sheets had stains, flies and bugs everywhere INSIDE, other guests were partying at all hours, and the icing on the cake was when the owner ( who literally looks like he’s 14hit on my girlfriend countless times. She was beyond creeped out and we left first thing the next morning. I wouldn’t stay here even if it was free - and please, females beware.. Owner is a creep and this place is nothing more than an overpriced hostel.

AB$OLUTELY THE BE$T!! ......for Hosts !!...for comfort...for price...for location...for options...for ACElena and Zack know how to welcome you to their spotless private-dock hostel with sleeping options from shared room on 1st floor, large upper private rooms, to a 34 motorboat-bunk to float away cares.Cool open kitchen-hammock hangout for sunset...I opted for the shared bunk room...full size twin bed! (Oh those luxurious sheets and towels)...beautiful hand-crafted pallet bunks sturdy and most comfortable. Great to have the sweet May breeze from the dock so no need for sterile AC air option.West coast central location for all beaches/mountains minutes away. Experienced travelers, they care, and can truly help you choose the best for your trip. This was at the end of my trip unfortunately...many sleeplessness nights in other hostels and wasted days of driving ...wish I had known toCOME HERE FIRST !!!! and use as home base. Hopefully Im helping you have a better PR experience. Dont drive by it...bayside tall yellow house with white balcony. (I parked in store across the street to unload.Happy trails!

Awesome spot!

The decor is charming. The atmosphere is welcoming. The view from the hammocks is beautiful. The hosts are simply lovely. My group has voted Sol Casita as the best stay we’ve had visiting Puerto Rico. If you are looking for an authentic experience away from the tourist spots, make your way here.
