A private members' club luring media types with its all-day British menu, bars and rooftop terrace.
Nice Soho house in London with plenty of attractions
Very nice ambience, fun and cool to say the least - quite diverse crowds which makes every visit interesting!
I appreciate their interior design and the whole concept. However I cant wrap my head around the smell of elite obsessed people who would not leave you alone. I prefer the Soho House in New York more than the one in London anyway however, the title hungry, fake and new rich mannerisms always make me leave the Soho Houses in London with a bitter aftertaste. Must tries: Their Tiramisu and house cocktail "Picante"
Relaxed Sunday lunch on the roof
Went for drinks with friends in a chilled out space. Staff incredibly friendly, service was hit and miss depending on where we were in the building.
Saw a mouse on the top floor restaurant whilst having dinner last night. The waitress and manager were extremely nonchalant, unbothered and very unprofessional when we informed them and were totally aware of the pest issue. The manager told me there are “two mice that come out when it is less busy and they tried to get pest control to exterminate them but the mice were hiding”… Should be shut down immediately until the pest problem is resolved. I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. Awful experience.
My friend is a member here & was over from the states and she invited me.First of all, I found the receptionist rude. We waited for a table at the terramce for over 30 minuites. We finally got a table, then it took ages to get a menu. We ordered drinks and water. The drinks came out wrong, we didnt get the water. We ordered pizza and a salad which Im sorry to say were just very basic.Needless to say, Im not impressed, I wont be coming back.
Very nice members club with outdoor terrace and courtyard
Lovely food, staff attentive.
Worst place ever! People at welcome fest are the rudest. You go there to have a great time with your friends but you end up having the worst experience at the ‘welcome desk’The taf was laughing at us. Who the F they think they are. Is this a member club ?
Busy busy .... went on friends membership.Long wait for drinks as so many peolpe... with it crowd. Good music
Rubbish experience. Staff are not very welcoming and quiet vacant when we had to constantly remind them to order our drinks/food.Food took ages and arrived cold. Nobody was served together.Would not recommend this place. Just because it’s a members club does this warrant poor hospitality and mediocre food..
Average. loud. food not outstanding but not bad. Too crowded.
Great atmosphere and the food was delicious however the service is very poor, an eye roll from reception when asking to put jackets in the cloak room and taking around 30 minutes to get the bill at dinner. Classic Soho House behavior!
Best bartender ever! Kaspar is amazing and his service is impeccable!
My favourite of the houses. The original and best. Super cosy, relaxed atmosphere. The decor is beautiful and like stepping back in time bar the music room which has the most amazing decoration that dominates the whole room. The food is lovely without being pretentious. Theres a reason why Im a member here.
Saturday night packed to the rafters!Almost impossible to walk through anywhere on a Sat night. Drinks good as always if you are lucky to get to the bar, that is. Still a very cool place, full of trendy people.
Beautiful experience....lovely food and the young lady that looked after our party of 12 was superb...thank you
When we were seated at the table the waiter asked for my membership number. This was very normal. What was unacceptable was how the waiter took my phone from my hand so that he could copy the membership number at his tablet kiosk across the restaurant, all without asking. He took my unlocked phone without asking, and tried to play it off as this being normal. All the while he didn’t know that I’d been visiting Soho houses from before he was even employed
Had a business lunch here recently, would recommend it however it does require a membership. Nice food and drinks overall, elegant decor and good service.
When I used a tissue paper to clean the table before the meal, I found the tissue paper turned to brown...But the service was excellent. I like the mood there. A good escape from the town.
One of the better soho house(es?has a chic vibe but doesn’t feel pretentious. Make sure you have a chump friend who’s a member of get a membership yourself if you… want to?
Obnoxious service sorry to say. Asked a member of staff if I could pay..he met eyes with me blank faced and said Ive no idea, Im a chef. Felt sarcastic and condescending. Maybe Im overly sensitive. Also generally the service felt flat and, frankly, disinterested. I believe in leaving reviews like this when under par experiences come up because they raise the bar when management re hire. And that helps everyone. If you look through my history youll see Im not really a winger or nit picker. Cheers for now old chaps.
Lovely venue and great cocktails. Only complaint was the absurdly snobby and rude waiter who kept talking down to us on the third floor working an event yesterday.. 🙄
Really nice place to chill out, I was.here as a guest and K must say Im happy that I had the opportunity. I had a dessert with 3 donuts and a Berry ice cream made from coconut milk, it was absolutely divineThis place is quite pricy🤑🤑🤑
Elegant environment, nice food and service.Worth to have meals here!! :)
We had booked out one of the dinner areas for our Christmas dinner and the staff were so lovely. They accommodated us with excellent service even though we had a handful of young children with us and managed it quiet well.I personally had the vegan options and they did not disappoint. The mushroom Wellington is the best I’ve had in London!
We visited the private members club on Saturday 21st December as usual the staff were attentive, polite and helpful. We visited several of the numerous rooms and bars before settling on a room on the first floor with the usual comfy lounge sofas and armchairs and small round tables. We were served drinks quite promptly and our hostess was very helpful with the order. The ambiance was very good as it was not overcrowded and conversation could be had easily as the background music was just at the right volume. We later ordered a number of sides as well as a salad, the calamari, sweet potato fries and a pizza. After enjoying our food and drinks we later ventured through the house to the large circular bar, the roof terrace before finally settling in the 2nd floor room with the DJ. We enjoyed dancing and as the night wore the room filled up and a good vibe and a good time was had. The members and their guest were very friendly. We left at about 1am having had an enjoyable pre Christmas night out.
Very rude manger and guard. Unfortunately, I am utterly disappointed of the way she handles relationships with clients. Initially, the guard said that my friend has to slow down on drinks, so I listened and took our glasses and placed them on the table nearby to stop drinking. However, as if this wasn’t enough, the manager came to create new drama from nothing. She kept pushing and pushing instead of act in a human manner and let us enjoy. Before, I thought that soho house is a community that gets art people together, but she really destroyed my opinion. Not worth it. No morals.
Whats not to like? I probably cant justify membership due to being a West London boy (would consider High Rd Brasserie, Chiswickhowever whenever invited here I have a great time, good drinks, nice compact menu and good staff with knowledge of the entire menu. We had a table on the roof next to the Bbq and the sun was shining. Always consistent in both service and quality, I dont usually get to see the bill but suspect its also sensibly priced.
I had a luxurious and pleasent experience. Staff were friendly and food was amazing. The place is big and it can be easy to get lost, but nonetheless you will see nice and friendly people behind every corner.
Good food and good service - the ambiance at the restaurant is nice, and the staff was very accommodating. They’re a bit strict on number of guests and have a lot of rules, but all in all, a nice spot for dinner and drinks!
The service was slow and the waiters were more interested in their appearance than actually taking your order. The fellow customers were also obnoxious, being extremely loud.If you want a nice meal and atmosphere, there are plenty of restaurants in the area.Membership here is mainly a status statement in my opinion, which is money far better spent helping those less fortunate than yourself.
Such a fun members club, we would seriously consider getting a membership. Perfect for all age groups, great vibe. Huge club with loads of rooms and several restaurants.
Nice spot for pre drinks and catching up with friends. Visited a few times as a guest. Stunning interiors throughout but a rather confusing layout on upper floors. Receptionist was truly awful on the last occasion I was there.
Great barbeque / delicious food and very friendly staff
Always a good time here. Food is consistently good and a great selection of wines. I prefer to go earlier in the evening for dinner or drinks as no matter what evening, it always get fully packed by 9pm.
You have to be a member or guest. With good weather the terrace is a hidden gem. The ambiance is very cool. As always, low level lighting and beautiful furniture combine to create a vintage aesthetic. Soho house group doesn’t disappoint. The only downside was the server’s advice. We came for brunch and ordered too much.
I went to the London branch with work friends. Very nice place for dinner and drinks. I look forward to going again next time I am in London and was told there is one in NY I plan to visit some day too. I really liked the different design of each floor and I thought my dinner was great and the cocktails well prepared.
Good place to go for drinks or food and meet new people. I’m not a member but I went few times with friends that are and always had a good time.
We arrived before our friends who are members and were herded around like cattle and told sit on a bench in the cold by the front door. Not aloud to go to the bar and wait even though our friends had phoned to say they were 10 mins late. Then we had to wait for at least 15 min to get a table for a drink. We then got our table and had a pleasant meal. You might want to train your staff that its people not livestock they are dealing with.
I really liked the menu. Simple sharing plates of meatballs and squid to begin with then a lamb kebab which was amazing. Roof terrace was unseasonably good in February. We did remark that it was a pretty eclectic mix of people which can only be a good thing at am exclusive member only place......
Been visiting this members club for many years, and seen the changes in membership - mainly number of guests / members in virtually every club is just overwhelming. Always busy, always noisy. It is ok for casual meetings and recreation, but privacy will be an issue. The food menu here is one of our favourites though.
Great members club. Has a no suits policy making it much more media laid back than the average members club. Great food - members can bring guests to the restaurants.
Was taken here as a guest of my boss, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and we had a lovely meal and very efficient service. The staff were smartly dressed and I was made to feel very welcome. I look forward to being able to return again in the new year.
Always lovely to pop in for a visit. The guys on staff are all exuberant and attentive, food and drink are great, and interior is very well put together. A great place to meet up with friends, have a work meeting or have a one to one. Definitely recommend as a members club!
Spent an afternoon working through the cocktails and the roof top. They were great but was super busy as the sun was out so service was a little slow.Great ambience, but found it a labyrinth to navigate between floors. Was a great evening
Stylish renovation of the original Soho members club. Many signature looks from the SH team - comfy chairs, random furniture, great art - although this club feels lighter, airier than some, especially with the roof terraces on 3 and 4. Laptops only allowed on L2 and in a corner of L3 and even then only before 6pm, which can be annoying but is good for the club. Excellent gin selection, and the small plates of food and perfect. As a club its easy to sit there for hours working with a coffee, and its a great space for that, for meetings, for drinks - comes alive at night with music and some dancing!
The tuna Poke and Creme brûlée was OUTSTANDING!! What a fun environment and two floors!
Went there for a large party in the Red Room dining area. Food was plentiful, interesting and of very high quality. they were happy for us to play our own music. Service was fantastic
