Soggy Bottom Bar - Cocktail bar in Flint, United States
Great food, good service, and good prices for food. I really enjoyed my jalapeño egg rolls and olive burger.
Great place jazz night on Tuesday WOW how fun , Trivia night on Wednesday $50.00 and $20.00 dollar prizes
My first time ever being there and it was amazing. The food was great and the waitress was a awesome. Had a great time.
best chicken sandwich i’ve EVER had!! highly recommend! the prices for drinks (unless you buy shotsit’s a little expensive but not too much but it’s worth it. i love the servers so much and talking to them they create a great atmosphere. love coming here on weekends and came for my 22nd bday and one server (i forget her namebought me a shot, 10/10!!
Soggy Bottom has an excellent atmosphere and is complimented by fantastic food. The portions were generous and priced about expected in relation to what was ordered. Highly recommend
Great service, super tasty food, great drink selection. Love this place.
Amazing food and the DRINK?! Definitely worth it 💗 my siblings and I had a terrific time.-10/10 recommend
Amazing affordable drinks, great atmosphere, and the food is my favorite in the Flint area. come to Soggys to experience the local scene! They have vegan options, non-alcoholic drinks and something for everybody
I dont usually go to bars. The day I was in, it was SUPER busy! That must mean the place is Super Good!Seen a few people I knew, so thats a plus.It must mean the place is popular also.
Had to change my reviews since, Their food is amazing, but they stopped doing breaded wings because it takes to long to make , we go there at least once or twice a week for breaded wings.
Soggy Bottom is a gem. The menu is thoughtful and fresh and everything is always delicious- especially the plant-based items! Love going for trivia night!
Best food in flint! Everything is made from scratch and super delicious. Always amazing service and good vibes. Great cocktails and the beer selection is on point. Thanks Soggy’s crew!
I love Soggy Bottom Bar. Excellent staff, the food is always good. I normally order the naked wigs with the habanero rub. There is no long wait for the food to arrive after you order . I love the price
Another staple of Downtown Flint. IMO...The BEST burgers in town. And if you dont want a whole burger, you can get any one of them in a slider! Great beer selection also.
THE FOOD IS SO KILLER🤤🤤 The pulled pork made me wanna crawl in the kitchen and beg for the whole batch, and the jalapeno popper egg rolls... No words. Amazing all the way around. I see why we had to wait so long to be seated and Id wait twice as long next time.
Awesome food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, good location. Would recommend.
A great menu (bar food staples, but much classier). Beer selection is expansive (overlook the hipster favs that crowd the cooler), and the mixed drinks are not measured out with eye-droppers. Tough to get a table when the boomers roll in for the dinner hour, and really busy later when the college crowd shows. Hit it at the right time and this bar is just right. Added bonus: Accept comes around on the sound system from time to time, and for that alone Id visit.
Great place, have great cocktails, good service and great food! Love the sliders.
Food is delicious! Waiter was also the bartender and he was funny and helpful! Don’t let the location fool you. Worth stopping in!
Being from the south we pride our selves on our BBQ, however after ordering the BBQ chicken wings I now must rethink my cooking as Soggy Bottom Bar makes the BEST BBQ Chicken I have Ever had.
This was my 1st visit and Im really glad that I went there. The crowd was mature and very relaxed. I ordered the breakfast burger and loaded fries......AWESOME!!!..Update: its still the same fabulous go to for food and drinks!!!!
Great food, really nice bar tenders, Andy is awesome, I never understand how he always remembers me when I come in, lol
Decided to stop here for lunch, had the best meal I have had in years. Everything here is top notch and housemade. From sauces to bread; no detail was missed. I can not reccomend Soggy Bottom enough.
One of the best bar/taverns in Flint, good food, smooth drinks, casual atmosphere, and a mixed crowd. If you looking for better in this category youre going to have to leave Flint.
Woooooohooooooooooo! Ok so for late night food this is the place. Judging by the pictures and reviews I was anxious to see how a bar could pull of such great food, especially late at night. This is a traditional BAR and felt a little awkward going in to order FOOD as they didnt pick up the phone upon calling. So I walk in and have a seat at the bar and ask if I could order take out. I was asked to walk to the end of the bar and just around the corner. There was a window and a register with a comfy little seating area. The staff was pleasant and personal. Service was quick and efficient. I orders some wings which come breaded or unbreaded and in a few different flavors. I ordered honey BBQ and an order of black bean nachos. The quality of the food along with the appearance was well above bar quality. In fact, it was better than some restaurants Ive visited. Not only did the food taste good, it looked good also. It far exceeded my expectations. In fact, the black bean nachos were so hearty and appetizing I didnt miss the meat as the difference wasnt noticeable at all. Tasted like there was meat on them when it wasnt. I was highly impressed with the quality of the food and thats not an easy feat. I look forward to trying other menu items as well as the nachos and wings next time Im in the area. I plan on introducing this place to some friends and family from out of town!
Been here a few times, normally pretty good. My last visit was horrible. My burger was so damn salty. I was sad, I love bar burgers. Everyones fries were cold. Id go back, just not for dinner. At least the appetizers were good.
If you are a bit on the older side or if you heard your parents talk about a certain beer of their time this is the place !!! So cool and the food is great too! Thee place for a nostalgic beer.
Great local burger bar. Clean. Good service. Plenty of room. Pool table and a few old school arcade games. On busy nights there may be a waiting list and parking fills up fast. It can be expensive. 80$-100$ for three with drinks, apps and burgers. A great night out in flintown. I recommend the breakfast burger. Enjoy.
SO awesome. Atmophsere was so amazing! Take some advice from me and try the jalapeno popper egg rolls and the grilled cheese. So awesome
Great food and drinks normally, however I got the wings today and they were basically covered in feathers (Im only partially exaggerating)😔😔
Seriously the best bar food around! Highly recommend the nachos, jalapeño egg rolls & pulled pork sliders!!
Again! One of my favorite venues. From the location and the outside it doesn’t seem like much BUT it’s a great place to go for drinks and food. The waitresses have got you… not sure which cocktail? They’ve got you! If you happen not to like it they’ve got you! Food… always on point. The nachos was my choice this time - flavor and spice!Highly recommend
Every time I visit Flint, Soggy Bottom is a MUST! Excellent food and service every single time. The staff is awesome and are very much appreciated.😊😊 Try the dry rub wings and pork nachos. Those are my fav.
Rest Your BottomNothing soggy here. The wings were crisp and hot. Burger not as meaty as usual. Blame it on inflation for deflating my burger. Didnt have ingredients for at least 3 drink requests but what they did have hit the spot.
Got burger sliders today and couldn’t even eat them they were still bloody on the inside and my spicy chicken. Sandwich had no spicy sauce on it at all and I asked for the hottest one and all the breading fell off my pickles usually have a good experience here this time I wasted 46 dollars
The food was delicious per normal. Our server had too many tables but was doing a GREAT job. Downside was, even after they turned it DOWN the music was SO loud it felt like you were in a club (at 6:30 pmhaving to shout to even talk to people at your own table.
Ok a bar is a bar but this place is dope af. Definitely was growing on me and then I tried the food. Good lord is it amazing. The pulled pork nacho is absolutely incredible we ended up ordering 2 lol hands down one of my new must go spots
Not to exaggerate! I have tried almost everything on their menu! Their food is phenomenal! Iam a traveler and I confidently can say Soggys Bottom chicken sandwich and black bean nachos are something you wont find anywhere else. :)
So its definitely a divey bar off the beaten path on Saginaw St but the food and atmosphere make it well worth the trip. You cant go wrong with their menu, even the salads are phenomenal! The black bean burgers and garlic parmesan truffle fries are some of my favorites, truly unmatched in flavor by anyplace around. 🍔If the food werent reason enough stop by.. lets talk about the incredible beer selection.🍺Lots of craft choices on tap, they always have a good IPA / and usually at least 1 cider. They also have a huge selection of bottled/canned beer including my favorite — M43. Hint- if youre not much of a beer drinker then Id recommend trying "something fruity" 🥭🍋🍓 A unique cocktail of the bartenders choosing. It never disappoints.Other notes— they have a really nice, closed off outdoor patio/smoking area, recently opened their pool table back up, and have a jukebox that lets you play music from your phone 🎼🎶👩🎤
They were doing some kind of trivia night when we went, we didnt participate but it was still a lot of fun. The atmosphere is excellent and the large cider selection made me very happy. We ordered some burgers, sweet potato fries and a harvest salad. Fries were good, salad was good, burgers were decent if not just a bit salty for our taste. But the staff, atmosphere, drinks and food were good enough to receive a 4 star 🌟 recommended
Soggybottom has always been a nice chill place to grab some food and drinks. Since I was old enough to drink Ive come here. I see theyve changed the menu. It uses to be more good food on the menu but now I guess tht menu is a bit smaller. People still come here to order the food though. Its a pretty nice establishment.
Had their grilled cheese & tomato soup and it was delicious as well as the expresso root beer! Definitely will be returning to try their burgers and their nachos as they also looked to die for! Super friendly & helpful staff. We had a huge group during lunch rush and only two servers working they rocked it out and quick!
This bar is so far one of my most favorite in Flint. The waitress and waiter were both very quick and effective. The bartender also performed exceptionally well at his job. All of the staff was willing to strike conversation which is very important in that kind of environment. Even their choice in music stands out compared to the other places Ive been. My only gripe was that I paid $22 for 4 shots. In my opinion that was kind of outrageous. That being said, if youre looking for a spot to drink and relax, Soggy Bottom is a must stop spot.
I got the Black Bean Nachos, truffle fries and the southern hot chicken sandwich. I tell you what it did not disappoint. This is not just a bar but a culinary experience. If Im ever back in Flint I will be dropping in.
Early dinner Cream cheese jalapeno egg rolls, Black& Blu cheese burger, Impossible burger for me& wings to go.
Good place to sit chill with friends...outdoor seating...decent parking ...great fried pickles!...do yourself a flavor and get the house sauce instead of the ranch...everyone gets ranch!
Damn good burger and the loaded fries were great too. Nice place, service is great, highly recommended.
Had the black bean nachos , spicy southwest burger and a margarita, a single barrel jack Daniels was perfect. Staff was fantastic. Great location downtown flint.
Slider heaven! Best slider in the Midwest. Crab cake sliders are amazing!
Great food, okay service it was packed and there was only a bartender doubling as server - not sure if that is the norm or a bad night. Loved, loved the crab cakes and the loaded fries (with pico de gallo and sour cream oh my yummy!).
