Sodalicious - Cafe in Limerick, Ireland
I will be returning again, it was fantastic!
I havent been to cafe yet but bought soda bread in supermarket in Adare. Olive and rosemary - just had with poached egg and tomatoes (from my homeand halumni cheese. Fab.
Lovely breads and good food. Nice staff too.
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Staff very nice and a lovely friendly place and will be back
Beautiful but very expensive
Bread very doughy, my wife could not eat the gluten free bread, very poor
The food and coffee are delicious here. Service is sometimes slow.
Great airey feel to the space, no feeling of squeezing as many tables in as possible. Staff smiley and energetic. Problem for me. Their Soda Brad of a bit "MAH" Place also had covered outdoor seating for us evil smokers
Very helpful staff and a high standard of hygiene. The most delicious bread Ive ever tasted
Loved it. I got the guac glory. I think I’ve found my new favourite and the glory was amazing too. I think I’ve found a new fav
We went in here after seeing reviews online and was delighted we did. We had a late breakfast and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend it.
Fabulous breakfast and fine pot of tea
Lovely coffee and food! Totally recommended, Ill be back for sure
Great little cafe powered by a la marzocco Strada coffee beast using locally roasted eleven14 beans which make for a great cup not to mention treats galore highly recommended
Lovely place to eat, friendly staff but very expensive to dine here
The food is good and nice airy atmosphere. Crazy expensive for what you get however, €17 for eggs florentien with tea! About €7 more than the average. Thats the same price as an evening main meal. Would definitely deter me from returning!
Real fresh food - prepared before your eyes! Wonderful variety of speciality breads - fabulous cakes being added to the offering - exceptional.
Visit weekly! Breakfast Butty on a Saturday is my weekend savoury treat! Never disappointed. Food locally sourced, fresh and tasty. And I rarely leave without taking a sweet treat home for later. Lemon drizzle is my favourite!Always a buzz and a lovely atmosphere. Fabulous & friendly staff to top it all off !
A scrumptious stimulus for the weekend mornings! Hard to avert my eyes away from the mini brekkie, but everything here is so reliably fresh! Staff are also consistently pleasant and very accommodating (always a bonus!).
Sodalicious is my go to place on a Saturday. The quality of food there is second to none. Eggs Benedict is my dish. Beautifully cooked eggs on your choice of at least three homemade breads covered in creamy hollandaise, delicious! The staff are lovely and friendly and attentive. And of course I can’t leave without taking treats home for later, a great selection of scones, cakes and cookies to choose from. Looking forward to next Saturday already!
Hard to choose between the Breakfast Butty or the pancakes for breakfast on a Saturday🤔, both great 😋! Also love all of their speciality and freshly baked soda breads with a bowl of soup...walnut my current favourite!
Really great spot. We bring the kids here when we come to town on a Saturday. Bright and airy and the staff are great. My son loves the toast and that comes with the fry and cant get enough of it. Food is delicious and totally recommend the guacamole glory or eggs Beinidict. Kids pancakes do down a treat. The Bell Lane coffee served here is a great addition. Will be back again soon - like lots of places these day bring some change for a tip as you cant put it on a card, they are brillant.
It is a marvelous place. The food is So delicious 😋!
Staff friendly and helpful, but less than impressed with menu and establishment. Friend ordered the guacamole glory. For 8,50 you get one piece of bread cut in half. You had to put the guacamole and egg on yourself - 2,00 extra for a tablespoon of salsa. The eggs Benedict was also uninspiring - one piece of bread and two eggs, minimal hollandaise sauce presented on a large plate that made the portion look even smaller than it already was. No chai lattes available or salt and pepper available on table. The Beetroot salad we had to ask for house dressing because there was none on it. Also supposed to come with Walnuts in it but received almonds instead, then the walnut bread that was ordered with it had run out. This was all on a Saturday which should have been more prepared for. Restaurant cold and the bathrooms even colder. One out of service, the other with a broken flush button, resembled the bathrooms in a pub. The waitstaff were the only positive experience.
Poor service very slow. Been here twice and the same each time. Bread is too heavy for sandwiches. Expensive for what you get. Sausage and bacon sandwich with Relish was €8 and was tiny
I really like the atmosphere in the place. Always a pleasure to come back to you! Thanks!
Fabulous food ,friendly staff, spacious very positive experience the smell of fresh baked breads,
Was not great. This place has potential but needs a better manager and it also needs a better chef and a completely different menu the venue is perfect but the food isnt guys. You need to change this fast Ill bring somebody in who can manage it properly youre very low on stock and the quality of the food was bad I would love to help you as I work in business
The Turkey special in walnut soda was "So delicious". Friendly staff and lots of space.
The Carrot Cake will blow you away!!!!…. Now that’s the standard set…. Can’t wait to be back again…( only sorry I didn’t take one home)…
Tasteless, small and overpriced.Lovely people but the food, coffee and presentation really lets them down.
Well I walk in with my manager today to have lunch and and walked in hungry and left the same.Did order food and have to wait around 20 min.. food arrived missing crispy bacon should be on it salad didnt have any dressing so poor.I have to go to centra to get proper sandwich .Coffee was good and home bread also
1st time trying Sodalicious yesterday and it was wow! I had the get stuffed sandwich and a smarties cookie. The bread on the sandwich was amazing, the chicken and all the ingredients was lovely and fresh. The cookie was also delicious! The staff are nice and friendly too. We will definitely be back.
10/10 - had wonderful vegan salad there and beautiful bread. . Girl serving was so nice, friendly and helpful. Wonderful staff and food - highly recommend
get stuffed!! that was the name of my chicken bacon stuffing sandwich on brown soda bread and it was delicious.. the icing on the cake were the 2 very friendly staff who served me.. nice spot.. will return.
Best lunch spot in Limerick City! The sandwiches, soups, sweets, and soda bread are unmatched. Id eat here for lunch everyday if I could.
Always a pleasure. Lovely staff. Great food and responsible social distancing, shields etc. Well done guys Ill be back👍
Beautiful place which called our attention to have a lunch over there. However, dishes werent nice or even good, besides overpriced for a bit of salad, dry chicken and average slices of white bread( I dont recommend stuffed chichen meal). Also, other meal/sandwich with 3 different types of cheese which barely you can taste this(a lot of words for nothing. 2 starts given for nice cappuccino and latte.
Great place for lunch, been there twice and excellent both times. Prices are very reasonable, all breads are baked each day with so many varieties to try. Good selection of baked goods too which change daily. If your not sure what to try, get the get stuffed sandwich, its excellent!
Had the chefs special sandwich. Very tasty. Coffee tasted great. Very friendly staff and the location is very comfortable.
Great spot, really nice food and a great selection
Lovely cafe, really nice coffee and food! Would recommend! Its just not very obvious theres a lovely cafe inside, could have more advertisements outside the front and side of the building as heeps of traffic passing all day.
Great find. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection. The food was full of flavour and made you want more, comfortable seating areas. Can buy breads to take away. Loads of different types of breads. 100% recommended! Chicken sambo on chedder and chive bread yum yum yum!
Gorgeous breakfast here. The breads are very traditional Irish and are amazing. Lovely roomy space with nice decor - totally Irish and a great alternative to restaurant chain options.
Lovely lunch here today! If you love bread you will love it here, they have so many different kinds. Had the grilled Caprese sandwhich which was delicious. The coffee was also very nice. The staff were friendly! Will be back to try breakfast.
Gorgeous breads, filling soup. Was disappointed in my carrot cake - great flavour but a but dry for my taste. First time having a mocha and was not disappointed. Lovely chocolate flavour in a decent sized mug. Ill be back!
Great food and treats! Friendly staff! Ans sparkling clean toilets (an important issue in Ireland). The whole store is assessible to people with mobility difficulties!Well done!
Service is terrible! Waited over 40 mins for food with one order wrong another never arrived and the third cold! 4 chefs in the kitchen with no organization as it took them forever to send anything out and then all wrong (all we had ordered was eggs and bacon not exactly hard to makeand only 2 wait staff on. Ended up walking out without eating as it took too long. Would not recommend this place
Was wandering on a cold morning through limerick looking for a bite when I came across this gem. Lovely food, great vibe, welcoming staff and great coffee. Well worth the stop
Very hip decor. Smiling friendly staff and the food was top notch. Perfectly poached eggs, delicious soda bread and incredibly light fluffy pancakes with real choclate syrup. Definitely worth a visit !
