Something healthy and light . Great place for some vegetarian food however there is no decoration nor decent seats .I was afraid to sit on those chairs , but it’s a fair price for a meal

Amazing food, loved it!! The dumplings were great the gravy of my soup really tasty and I loved the tofu. It is a bit difficult to find because it is very small and hidden between two sodas

Este pequeño local es todo un descubrimiento en pleno centro de San José que demuestra que no se necesitan espacios amplios y lujosos, con precios altos, para ofrecer una comida buena y a un precio sumamente atractivo. Recomiendo la sopa que hacen a base de tomate y jengibre…exquisita. Además,la pareja coreana que regentan el local es maravillosos. Para ir una y otra vez.

This place doesnt get near enough of the Credit they deserve. Their Noodle soup is ‐-awesome--. The restaurant is small, simple and run by a cute Taiwanese couple. I really reccomend anyone near to try this place. You wont be disappointed! 😄

WOW - Dont let the size and shabby decor of this place put you off... Im not vegetarian but wanted something light to eat that was close and this restaurant looked convenient. I ordered the soup with dumplings and was served a large bowl filled with very tasty vegetable soup, a chunk of carrot, some yucca, tofu and what looked and tasted like homemade pork dumplings. The taste and texture of everything was fantastic with a bit of chilli spice in the soup. I was amazed to be told the pork was soya!This is more than just a convenient lunch stop - its worth making the effort to have a bowl of this soup. At 4,000 colones you wont be disappointed :-)

FANTASTIC! Its an unassuming little place but dont be fooled, we were totally blown away by the dumpling soup - full of flavour and delicious. Im not vegetarian/vegan but even I had a hard time believing it was meat free. I definitely recommend a visit!

Nice small place, I was looking to find a good vegetarian soup after a long hiking morning and got the dumplings soup which was filling and delicious.

It’s a really small place however it’s great Asian food really good portions the dumplings are really good.

The place itself is not that fancy. But we liked the special dish and the dumblings. We got free water - Left statisfied. Pricepoint around 7.000 Colons.Therere some nice photos around.

Pequeño restaurancito de comida coreana. Su sopa es muy rica. Es una sopa con base de tomate, sin carne (vegetariana), con varias verduras que forman un caldo de mucho sabor. Vale la pena para ir a explorar, descubrir los sabores de la comida surcoreana, la cual poco a poco va llegan a occidente.

Soda Vegetariana SUSBIDA was the first place we ate after arriving in San Jose. It was conveniently located near a large park, and it was also close to the hostel where we spent the night. It was easy to find and was an enjoyable mix of Oriental and Vegetarian / Vegan.A friendly local helped us order his fave plates and we enjoyed EVERY single things we asked for.At the end of our vegan feast we were also delighted at the affordability!We only spent 1 night and 1 day in San Jose, but if we ever get the chance to return, we would be sooooo happy.We enjoyed a friend rice with vegetables, dumplings and more.This place is WORTH the visit.Delicioso!!!

Cute whole in the wall restaurant with great food and good prices. The Taiwanese owner speaks Mandarin and Spanish and makes delicious veg. dumplings. Mostly vegan. Portions are very large. Two of us split a the specialty plate and dumplings. We were more than full, but ate it all because it was really good.

This soda is a tiny hole in the wall tucked between two other sodas. We walked right by it at first.Happy to find vegan Asian food in San Jose!Theres not much room but we found a table at lunch. We ordered the casado plate and some steamed dumplings. Both were good. I think the casado changes every day but this one had a variety of items with rice. Green beans, a "chicken-y" seitan piece, a piece of eggplant tempura, and a "chopped beef" in gravy plus sauteed cabbage with veg ham chunks.I would get fried dumplings next the but the order was substantial, 15 dumplings.The place is pretty dirty, though, so either put that aside or skip it.Service was efficient and nice.

La mezcla de condimentos y especias, junto a la diferente variedad de platos, me dieron una experiencia única.Sin embargo la comida no estaba caliente.Los precios van desde los 3 mil colones.Para mi vale la pena ir a comer a este tesoro veggie en chepe. Al menos una vez tienen que ir.

Good selection of vegetarian and vegan food! Its quite a small restaurant but the prices are very reasonable and the food is lovely.

Vegan Taiwanese food, sometimes vegetarian (but always being clear about), a unique flavor with different options every day, dont miss the plato del dia, and the soup with the dumplings. Fabian the owner is a very friendly man, and also take a look at his photographs that are framed on the wall. Also, totally reasonable prices. Open for lunch only, dont go too late for you might not get any food, since its crowded most of the time.

Muy buena comida y bien atendido el lugar.El establecimiento como tal es pequeño y tal vez no lo mejor, pero está bien en general y no genera mala impresión por aseo por ejemplo, al menos no en las ocasiones que lo he visitado. 100% recomendable.
