Awesome staff & atmosphere! Great place to spend an evening. Prices are on par or better than other axe throwing joints, but this one felt safer, cleaner and better prepared to host larger crowds. Will visit again!!!

We went for a family reunion activity for the adults. This place was so fun. The employee who lead our session was so engaged and helpful. We played several games! Highly recommended and I will go back!

Had such a great time with our family reunion here! David was our coach and did a fantastic job. He showed us the ropes, and refd our games. They were very Covid aware with precautions to prevent spread including distancing, free hand sanitizer provided for each person, and cleaning axes and stations between each group. All 13 of us had a blast and would definitely come again!

So fun! We had a group of 13 and threw for 2 hours. It was the perfect amount of time. Our arms did not get tired and we all got good and were able to get bullseyes. The instructor was great and had fun games to keep us going the entire time.

This place was a blast. The workers are super helpful and kind. They taught well and there werent any problems there. They also had free arcade games. Great place for date or group outing.

First time doing axe throwing. I really had a good time. Much better then anticipated. Staff was great. Taught us the basics and gave us some games to play. It was great.

Great place! This was our first time axe throwing. They teach you how to throw if you are a first timer. Also if you are like us, and didn’t know what to expect, they incorporate games into the activity. It’s entertaining and made for a fun competition while we work on our axe throwing skills. Definitely would recommend and will be returning.

We love going ax throwing! we normally go to the salt lake location but we tried out this location last week. The only disappointment was the girl that helped us was not very friendly and very short with our group, very poor costumer service.

Employees was very friendly and detailed in explaining axe throwing to customers to also help prevent accidents.I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun family, group, or other activity.Thank you for your professionalism Social Ace Throwing

The people there were so friendly! They did a good job of teaching you how to throw but not hovering while we were playing. Super fun atmosphere and great experience!

David was a great Axe coach. We felt safe and had fun. My wife had never thrown axes before and by the end she was sticking them often. The games they teach you are all fun and range from casual to competitive. There are retro video games and drinks for sale. They have a military discount. Free popcorn with drink purchase. Lots of places to set down your phone or keys or coat etc. $15 per person for an hour. Lots of lanes available so lots of people can be in there at the same time. I recommend this for dates or business groups or family. You must be at least 13 years old. I now am more ready to kill orcs.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and had a blast. It was a Monday and we were the only ones there, but the employee was super friendly and helpful, she even opened an extra lane so we could throw at the same time.

5 stars and some kind words will never come close to how we feel about this place. But I’ll try anyway.First off, Diana was fantastic! She explained how to do it all super well and was WAY patient as a couple newbies tried something new and rather exciting haha. Her customer service was just awesome 🙌As far as axe throwing in general, it’s fun! We went for a date because we wanted to try something new and had heard that this place was fun and it had good reviews (for a very good reason). In fact, if you’re on the fence about what to do with friends, or some personal time, or want to try something new, or want a fun but different date idea because your last 3 dates you went bowling, then come here!! You will not regret it!!!

Yo social axe is so much fun to go to they teach you exactly how to throw the axes so first timers can pick it up real easily! They set you up with games to play too and it’s great for a date and group date settings. Musics super bomb. It is a smidge pricey $15 a person, so if you’re down to drop that, you’ll seriously love coming here!

Went here for a work function with about 20 people. We had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the arcades were a nice nostalgic touch. Great place to have fun for a few hours.

Really had an awesome time at Social Axe! This was the 1st time that I had ever been to a place like this and was really amazed at how fun it is. There is something oddly satisfying about throwing a large sharp object into a wall! Throwing the big ax was the best! The coaches were awesome, they make the competition fun and keep things in order. All the staff was extremely friendly and laid back. If you have never been, my recommendation is totally Social Axe throwing®™ in Orem off State Street, they are the BEST!!!!!!

Had a blast with a bunch of friends from work. great experience loved the atmosphere and the price was good as well. There was a good selection of Brews, never tried the pool table but there were some cool retro video games that were an awesome blast from the past. the two guys working got a little busy but they did a great job of providing a great experience and e never ran out of popcorn.

Great for group activities. The coaches will walk you through every step of the way and for every skill level. Very accommodating!!! Would definitely do it again!

The associates were a lot of fun and interacted with us. they even let us throw the big axe even though it was past our time. i definitely recommend this place. the price is also fair $15 per person for 1 hour. and $15 at check out. tax already included.

We just had such a fun night throwing axes with friends! Diana was our coach and showed us a good time. We got to play multiple games and even though we went over our time a little, everyone there made sure we got the full experience. We all improved greatly thanks to Diana’s coaching, we can’t wait to return!

This place as rad, clean, organized, well laid out, and the staff is amazing! My son & friends came here for their homecoming day date & all loved it!

We just left from our walk in for an hour. It was so fun, Ethan was our coach and he was very helpful and nice. He taught us to throw and then let us do our own thing by playing small competitive games. It was great, would recommend as a date, to just hang out, or as a group. We will definitely come back!

I came here for a team building activity with 12 other people. We all had a blast. The axe throwing guide had plenty of games for us to choose from. We used 2 lanes for 13 people. In 2 hours we were able to play about 3 different games and we ended with an elimination tournament. Definitely will be coming back.

I’ve been here twice now and I must say this is the most fun I’ve ever had throwing axes. Especially compared to other axe throwing venues in Utah County this place ranks #1 for me.Lane - The lanes are very big and clean. They seem to take pride in maintaining their lanes very well. The lane is very well lit.Board - The boards are swapped out regularly so that you’re not throwing into a pile of splinters. The targets are well defined and easy to see.Axe - These guys do it right. They cut off the steel shank at the bottom of the axe and tape it with sturdy tape so you never stick the axe in backwards. Also their procedure for retrieving the axe and carrying it back to the holster is the safest I’ve seen.Price - They have a good price. Axe throwing can be a little bit spendy but I’ve never regret a dollar spent with these guys.Customer Service - These guys are incredible! Remarkably warm and friendly gentlemen work here. They take time to teach you proper axe throwing methods and safety practices. They also help you practice until you can stick the axe. If you follow exactly what they say you will have a great increase in your axe throwing ability because you will stick it in.Space - This venue is spacious. Large tables, proper lanes with plenty of room for large parties. The theme is also charming. If rugged lumberjack were a color this place would be dripping in it.I strongly recommend Social Axe Throwing to my friends and family. If you’re looking for a good time and are tired of the typical Utah County scene, you will not be disappointed by an evening here.

Came here for a "Bros Night Out". We enjoyed ourselves and had a good time for the most part. The staff was friendly and introduced us to a few games in increasing difficulty to keep us entertained.

Definitely one of the most fun dates my husband and I have ever done. The staff was so friendly and the place was clean, and put together so well. We’ve been to another ace throwing place and I loved how welcoming this location was! Can’t wait to go back

This is a great place for a company team building event. They probably cant host a giant group but our 10 person group seemed right on. They build in some mini games that make it fun and competitive. We spent 2 hours with our group and the amount of time was just right.

Took my Daughter for a daddy/daughter date, and we had a blast, everyone was super nice, and helpful, with just 5 minutes of instruction we were sticking wood! Props to these guys, better than Lagoon any day!

TOTAL RIPOFF!!!! They charge you $15 per person per hour but then the stick your entire group all on ONE target with only ONE axe. We were the only people there and they easily could have given us a second target to use so people could get more throwing time. They should be charging per target and not per person since the more people in your group, the LESS THROWS EACH PERSON GETS! TOTALLY LAME!!!!!! Such a disappointing experience.

Just did the axe throwing, didnt do food/drinks. With with 3 of my friends (4 guys totaland just had a wonderful time definitely going back, would also be a really good double date place. You dont have to be strong or big to throw the axes, Im a pretty lean guy and I had no trouble. Overall, highly reccomended.

This place is an absolute blast!! The staff are wonderful. They interact well and are excellent teachers on how to properly throw an axe. The games are super fun and interactive. Its perfect for big groups as well as one on one dates. You wont be disappointed.

Nothing to write home about. This was my 3rd axe throwing place I’ve been to and this was my least favorite. I was in a group of 5, and they put us all on one lane instead of letting us throw on 2 lanes. The whole place was empty so it didn’t make sense. Then a couple came in, and they put them on the lane right next to us, even though the whole place was still empty. We had two chairs for the 5 of us. I’m definitely going to the other axe throwing places if I go again, I had much better experiences there.

Been there twice in the last week. The first time there were just two of us. It was a good time, until they said they forgot when we got there and tried telling us our time was up even though we still had a good 5 minutes left. The second time we had a group of 5 that they crammed into one lane instead of two, just because we didnt have 6 people. So if youre going with 4 or 5 people, pretend you are two groups so you can be on two lanes. Theyll likely place you right next to each other anyways for some reason, despite there being plenty of open lanes. But just dont show up as a group of 4 or 5 because you will get half the throwing time for the same price. They seem to be all about cutting costs. Id definitely go elsewhere before coming back to this place again.

This is not only a fun, scary, hard, activity! It is much more than that! You learn and experience things here that you can’t experience anywhere else! You can take your family, your friends, your grandparents or a cute date! This is an activity for everyone! You play games, talk, laugh, take pictures and videos, so much fun and a good memory making place :)

We love the clean, positive environment. The best part that made the experience more enjoyable was the instructor named Cam. He not only taught us how to hold and throw the ax, but he helped each of us individually how to hit the target every sing time. Any activity is always more fun when you feel good at it

I had been curious about this for awhile. Finally decided to give it a try.It was way more fun than I expected. The staff gave excellent instruction and it was way easier than i thought it would be. Excellent date night. Almost half of the people in there were female and many times threw better than the men. Lots of fun, not expensive, great place.

We had a great team building meeting. The coach was great and worked with everyone, by the end everyone was not only sticking the Axes we were getting bullseyes. Highly recommend!

Super fun group activity! Great staff! I had previously been to a different axe throwing venue and this was hands down way better. The other place I went to I was always worried about safety but here at Social Axe Throwing in Orem their safety precautions were waaaay more thorough! Great atmosphere. I love everything about this place. The employees do a great job of making sure the games are safe, fun and never boring. It is very well ran and a great place for a night out. I highly recommend it.

The staff was so friendly!! I really enjoyed learning about throwing properly and they gave us some really fun games. A little pricing in the way that I wouldn’t go everyday, but definitely a fun, worthwhile time. Would recommend.

Social Axe Throwing was AMAZING!!!!! I went with people from work for a group activity. It was so much for for everyone! They had tables for us to eat on and it was really private so you could really bond with your group. David and Paul were our instructors and they did an amazing job helping us and guiding our group through different games and how to throw. I will definitely be going to Social Axe Throwing again!!!

This was a good experience to go and enjoy. Want your inner redneck to come out this is the place. Its a great date idea either as a group or just a single date. I didnt arrive at a busy time but, the service that was provide by the worker as amazing. From what he taught how to throw better, to getting involved, and encouraging you to do better was good to hear. I would highly recommend it and I plan to go back in the future.

Such a fun place! Kind of a hidden gem because it hasnt been open very long. The staff are super friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a fun date night, group activity, or just a way to challenge yourself, this is the place.

We took a group of 10 people from and had a BLAST! What else can you do with a large group from ages 23-65 and have everyone have this much fun? David was our coach and he was super fun, and really knowledgeable also. He helped members of our group improve as our time went on. He had really fun games we played to mix it up and keep everyone involved and engaged. I cant wait to go back again soon!

Cameron was the manager there and he had a great, cheerful attitude. James taught my brother and I how to throw an axe and we just had a fun time! Would highly recommend before it gets as busy as their other two locations!
