Im definitely coming back here.In addition to the Soba menu youd normally see, the Saka japanese menu is packed with japanese options.I got the teriyaki bento box with smoked salmon and miso soup!10/10The duck was incredible, prefectly crispy and bursting with flavour! Smoked salmon was super fresh! The sushi rolls were also really good and the miso soup was a lil bowl with a lot of flavour! And the little seasonal salad was a perfect way to finish it off.Genuinely looking forward to going back cause I genuinely cant fault anything 👌

Absolutely loved the food here, The staff are so nice and gentle and theres always a calm atmosphere inside. Its one of my go to places and the best thing is that everything is not over-priced like other restaurants! I Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Asain dishes or wants to bring their partner out for some nice food. 5/5

Prices are reasonable, food is great (I highly recommend the Chicken Japanese Bento Boxand the service is excellent (they even fill your water at the moment they see its almost empty). Ill surely come back again! :)

Food is always top quality. Full of flavour and presented beautifully. Never oily like other Asian restaurants and doesnt leave you feeling "ugh" after it. Extremely well priced and the staff are some of the best in Cork City. Super polite and welcoming and always check to ensure your glass is full. Highly recommend.

Loved this place! For the first time ever in Ireland when I ordered Japanese curry I got actual Japanese curry. If youre in Cork and like Japanese food this place is a must-visit

Ordered yaki soba tofu and vegetables, got few pieces of chicken. Wont eat there again as they dont cook separately. Dont advertise vegetarian if you cant guarantee that it will be. 0 starts if I could.

Went to this place for the first time with my friend. It was a very nice experience 👍 Very clean and friendly staff 😄 My friend had the chicken pad thai and i had the roast duck, Very delicious

1st time here it is a nice Restaurant clean and well presented! No problem for when we entered the Restaurant we were seated straight away! Good service Kind friendly staff. Inside and outside seating serves beer and Coffee and Alcoholic beverages too! I had Chicken Satay which was absolutely gorgeous fabulous good size Portions too! I like Satay and this was really good here! Well worth a Visit.

Walked into this place and it was very quiet, only a table of 3 there. Female waitress that greeted us was very nice and friendly but we were unfortunate enough to have our order taken by an extremely abrubt, unfriendly and standoffish Male waiter. So rude we walked out before ordering because he was so unhelpful. I recommend eating in koto just next door! Its very nice and the staff are actually friendly.

I dont remember the last time i had such a disappointing experience. Im a huge fan of gyoza, any oportunity to order it i do. What i got here is not a gyoza, but a flaky dough, type of thing that is tasteless. It feels like it might have been made in an oven.The noodles werent much better but i blame that on myself for not liking the sauce. The gyoza though...Honestly if you go here you might like a lot of the stuff, just dont order the gyoza. I overpayed for something that wasnt advertised correctly to me. I hope they fix it in the future.

Was really looking forward to trying this place.But unfortunetly the food was a let down very greasy ,the steak in the japenese dish was like rubber. Also the main courses arrived at different times leaving one of us waiting.On the plus side our waiter was very nice .

Absolutely awful experience. The gyozas in my bento box were cold upon being served. So I requested them to be redone so I could actually eat them. The server took them away to the kitchen and they never replaced the gyozas. Yet still charged for them when I paid. Due to allergies I asked for veggie sushi and they still served tuna sushi. The servers acted as if it was my issue when it was indeed the kitchen’s mistake for not making as per what I initially ordered. Absolute atrocious restaurant. The audacity for them to take the cold gyozas back to the kitchen and not actually replace them and STILL charge me was disgraceful, it’s also a public health issue if they are not serving appropriately heated food.

I have ordered vegetarian Pad Thai and Vegetable Spring rolls as a starter. I kindly asked to not add fish sauce (as its listed as allergenand not add egg. The Pad Thai was delivered fast but not the spring rolls. I had to ask twice and then said I didnt want them anymore because I have my main dish already. They still delivered and charged me. Food wasnt great, service bad and they have added egg which I didnt want to have. I am unsure about the fish sauce as the waiter didnt quite understand me or bothered to note it.

I was having dinner, Ive seen a delivery guy asking to use the toilet... staff (mandenied, said that toilets are only for customers... as a regularly customer, when I order food to take away, the rider represents me. shame on you guys

In a nutshell : great food and lovely staff!Ive ordered quite a few times from them and eaten once there, you wont be disappointed, the food is excellent, youve got quantity and quality for a good price ! Their noodles are just 太好吃了! Their staff is polite and helpful, Ill definitively come back !(Also took some orders to deliver from them and always very nice to riders! Always a plus)

I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it was so good, with lots of shrimps and very cheap for the amount and the quality. Really liked it. Also, they were very fast 👏🏼

Such nice staff, and food is UNREAL! Got Thai green curry and sweet and sour, both had LOTS of chicken and tasted so nice!

Update: I don’t know what has happened since the lockdown, but it appears their chef has changed and their menu has significantly been cut down. All the more authentic Chinese dishes I enjoyed are gone. The existing noodles are no where near as good as they were. If you were a fan of Soba last year and don’t like it now, I would highly recommend Osaka.Super fast service, lovely staff and the best Chinese food in Cork city! My boyfriend and I were blown away by the quality today. Even comparing to Chinese restaurants we’ve been to in London, the quality and flavour at Soba is still incredibly good. I would highly recommend the dry beef pad thai if you’re stuck on what to order.

I ordered takeaway from soba. Omg the Gyoza are so good! They are basically chinease dumplings. They have veg and chicken in them and they are cooked and nice and hot and you dip them in soy sauce. Amazing 😍. Would love if they had a vegetarian version as well because sometimes I like to go meat free. The other food was nice too but they really stood out

It was okay. I found the food to be good but the service was not very nice. The server was pretty rude and when we asked if we could get another bowl of the complimentary crackers (which are pretty cheap btw), she refused. I have never experienced a refusal of complimentary stuff at any place. The experience was not okay but the food was.

Authentic Chinese and Asian food at cheap prices. I have tried beef tendon noodle soup, pork feet noodle soup and thai red curry already. All of them was delicious and filling. In my opinion they sell the best Chinese food in Cork City.

Chicken looked weird in my katsu curry today , very slimy or something? Pink /grey colour. Usually quite nice and a good selection on the menu.
