Soap Seoul in Seongnam-si

I tried to find it, i couldnt either they are on vacation or they closed

Got there by accident. It was sunday and the entrance was free, I think we even got a welcome glass of champane. The techno sets that night were unbelievably good, I remember them even today. If you want to feel the vibe of Seoul, look no further.

Great music. They mix it up every night from house, hip-hop, to techno in the morning

Always a good vibe, dope music and people but the negative star is because its ₩4000 for a bottle ot water.

My favorite club ever, hands down, period. There is never a dull moment at this space made for artists and all those who love them! Soap does a great job of monitoring the volume of people so it’s never overly cramped. They update their Instagram weekly on new artists, featured DJs, and live performances. It’s the place to be for anyone and everyone wanting a heckova night.

I personally found the music choice to be funky or electronic. Not my taste.

Well, after long time waiting for visit the club, I was a bit shocked when I got into the club. Small, music was so so, prices were ok but I was expecting something else. One time visit no more

We got lucky this Friday! SIK-K, The Quiett and Changmo performed for the Air Jordan event! It was awesome!

After having a really bad experience at another club, this club was a blessing. They dont judge people based on age, race or anything. It is packed, there are various DJs rotating and the vibe is just super cool. They have two floors, a basement with a long bar and a dance floor (some sofas for bottle service), the first floor is kind of bar feel where you can talk more. Overall, Im super impressed!

Very interesting and unique. Maybe it was the dj that night but, very underground and strange music. Barely any flashing lights like other clubs. Bartender was doing some showtending so that was really great to see. Overall would come again, I heard the atmosphere really changes each time!

Attention - This club scams.Went twice to Soap, first time (FS Green, 22 Sep 2018and got two free drink cards (transparent on the picture- one of my friend and one for me. We didnt drink so I saved them for next time. Back at Soap mid of December 18 I got handed the paper free drink card from the picture. Went to the bar and gave him one of the transparent cards to get my free drink, when the bartender told me the card is not valid. I told him I got it from the doorman at my last visit and he said he can not accept it. When I asked him why its not valid in his eyes he said Soap changed the cards over a year ago. Firstly, why wouldnt a card lose its validity just because new ones are printed, secondly it was a bad lie as I just received the card at my first visit in September (have never been to Soap before). He took my card and refused to give me the drink. (Sidenote, I was absolutely sober).Beside the fact that employees are very rude this club is overpriced (20-30000KRW for resident DJs or even the club owners playing themselves - compare to Bootshaus, Germany where you pay converted 15000KRW for names such as Tiesto). Does not indicate that those residents/owners are bad artists, just the price-value is not adequate.Big up for the team behind Soap for individual branding and trying to establish some non-edm, non-hiphop club in Seoul.+ Around once in a month you can find some international talents here+ Nice club branding, good sound system- Employees will cheat on you- You pay high admission for random DJs- Club closes at 5am (very early for underground/scene club)Overall, if you are a music lover and support their nice branding, their intention of bringing some real music to Korea, and are willing to pay more than what you get in return, you can definitely have a fun night here. Its a cool club, no hate. But considering all the side conditions, such as price, and how people are treated, you can surely find other locations in Seoul. . .EDIT: Shoutout for the fair feedback. Seems there are some people involved who care about the customers. Will increase from 2 to 3 stars. Still -1 star for the overpriced admission and -1 for the in-club-treatment. If there will be a nice trap artists coming in (a pity I missed Alex Lewisand see if my original! drink vouchers will be accepted or not. . .Keep going

People were nice and the music was nice too. I believe the music they have is house music. It was really dark in there and hard to see peoples faces, but if you are with friends, its not an issue right?The bathroom was big enough. If you like house music you should go!

Another awesome place in Itaewon. Basically smoking free bar/club but a seperate smoking area both inside and out also provided. Free entrance before 11pm

Good club if you like EDM. Just one dancefloor but it was fun when a good DJ is playing. We saw Polo and Pan. I was missing some lights and a second area with a more chill vibe.

Very good club, long line to enter but worth it, the place is a bit tight but when its full you enjoy the life in it. Recommended!

Not my style of club, but not bad and almost everyone speaks some English. Its too dark, but I guess that could be a good thing, and the ratio is not bad. I would give it 4 stars, but its not for me.

The music is pretty good. Its not like Electro house . More groovy? I guess, a little more hip hop. The best club Ive been to so far. The only offset is that the club itself is small compared to the amount of ppl trying to get in. Also only a few tables

Lively club from 12 to 430 am. I think I got charged more for being a foreigner. Entry includes a free drink which is a freaking Budweiser. Can re-enter as many times as you want. Ive seen queues of 5 to 20 people. The location is on an off street.

Good atmosphere, dj plays good music and not strict on foreign visitors.

I think this place is super dangerous. In the event of a fire or emergency there is only one available exit which is the way to get in and leads up a stair. The place.is fully packed so no chance of getting everyone out. All signs are not emitting light so no clear direction to a possible exit. When I noticed the crew they didnt care. As long nothing happens itll be fine for sure but this place is a death trap.

Been to this club every weekend since it opened. Located in Itaewon Seoul. Great atmosphere, good music and down to earth friendly management. Beautiful people. Go check it out.

Great Dj , good music, friendly people, beautiful club ... a place where to spend a night in Seoul, Itaewon (very close to the metro station). Went there a few times, they also have live music.
