SoBol in Sayville

The acai bowls are good but a bit overpriced. They also put too many blueberries and strawberries and not enough banana, they should consider adding a peanut butter to the regular bowl so it isnt so plain

The most disrespected I have ever been at a restaurant. What started out as a simple error on their part could’ve easily been resolved but they lied about it to cover themselves an absolutely refused to rewind their cameras to see what actually happened. I have never been spoken to like that before, she should not interact with the public with that attitude. I asked her for her name and she said “I’m 17 I don’t have to give it to you” then ran and hid in the back . I will never ever go there again and neither will anyone I know.

Almost chipped a tooth on the granola! Felt like some dirt or pebbles were in there.

After 5 years of coming here with family and friends I’m so disappointed to say this place is no longer what it used to be. As of May 28th they closed their kitchen which served AMAZING food all because it doesn’t “fit their image any longer”. I would drive 20 mins at least once a week, bypassing the Islip and Babylon location just to come here. So sad that they made this decision.

People are very friendly, fast and delicious healthy food.

Very friendly and efficient staff and immaculately clean store and a tasty bowl, but sparse on fruit and heavy on granola. Additionally, the pineapple was not ripe. A lot of cash for a small return. Buy a blender and make it yourself. Its not hard.

As a long time customer, im sorry to write a poor review. Its stricly because of the prices. Its been a while since ive been there and i decided to order lunch today. But 17 dollars and change? Really?I would have cancelled the order, but i felt bad making the girl do that after placing my order. Unfortunately, I wont be back for some time. Cant afford it. I know its covid and prices go up, but you cant tell me youre not making money.

The best acai bowls anywhere!

No one even comes close to SoBol for açaí bowls.

We have been customers for years (since they openedbut this place has really gone down hill! A few days ago I ordered a large açaí bowl. I found MANY pieces of blue plastic mixed In to the bowl. When I brought it back and showed them the plastic pieces they apologized and gave me a credit for the original purchase price. I truly believe in supporting local business so I figured I’d give them another chance. The following day I went back and ordered 2 more açaí bowls. This time they were filled only half way. $19 for 2 small açaí bowls filled half way. The worst part of this is that when I looked at other reviews I saw that several other people reported the same issue with pieces of plastic being in their food. Why hasn’t this problem been fixed!? I think we are done with this place!

Normally have really good experiences but yesterday I got a large açaí bowl and by the time I got to the bottom I found shredded plastic so I went back and they gave me credit. But today I went again and got a small bowl but they only filled it up with acai a quarter of the way and by the time they put the fruit in, it only took up half of the container.

Ordered a friend a smoothie, she has gastritis and can’t eat a lot of foods, sent it to her house and within the first sip she was swallowing broken plastic. Bad enough for someone without stomach issues, even worse when your stomach is bleeding. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Great food, super cool atmosphere, and nice workers. A little over priced, but not too bad, especially compared to other places in town. I like it a lot

I ordered two Acai bowls over the phone and also paid over the phone. I went to pick up the bowls on my lunch break. I got there waiting for my order I was totally ignored. Watching everyone else picking up their order. I finally got one of the girl attention after waiting for 10 minutes to pick up my order and I told her my name and my order. Her response was" did you pay for it" I told her yes I already paid over the phone. I waited another two 2 minutes for her to check if I paid or not. After all that got back late to work. I lost my appetite in that process I feel so humiliated. I have been a customer for about 4 years I have never feel so uncomfortable.

Always fresh and delicious! Ive gotten bowls from other places and there is no comparison. The Granola is some of the best granola Ive had anywhere. Keep up the great work.

SoBol Sayville is where my love for acai bowls started! I am from DC but SoBol is a must have when Im visiting Long Island! The ingredients are always extremely fresh and the shop is always very clean. I love that there are so many "add in" options. Cookie butter is my favorite!!

Easy to see right off of Main Street servicing Sayville and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Parking on the Street is available. Clean facilities. Public Restroom. On the expensive side so bring your credit cards. Staff is nice. We will most likely be going back.

They closed at 8:30 when it clearly says it closes at 9. Get your hours straight stop making ppl waste their gas smh

It is good to come here for a very healthy meal when my road bike training is almost completed for the day and I am on my way home. The pricepoint is high, and considering I can make any of these menu items from home for less than the cost of a gallon of gas, the visit is merely an incentive to complete the goal that day of thirty to one hundred miles. The slightly more difficult challenge would be to source ingredients such as kiwi.To simplify my life while consuming enough sodium, potassium, B-complex and Vitamin C with protein, I can make a 20 oz. yogurt, banana, antioxidant berry blend with granola at home for a cost of less than two dollars per serving. The hype here at SoBol is the benefit that each drink or bowl affords. You can afford to Google what is needed like I do and use your blender and/or food processor to get the job done.Let me illustrate. On a recent high speed, long-distance cycling run my quadriceps were severely cramping and I COULD NOT MOVE. I did not realize that extreme sports requires a different nutritional level than operating your television remote control. I had rapidly depleted my sodium and potassium levels going into my second hour riding at twenty two miles per hour on a hot day. Dehydration wasnt the problem as my fellow riders were erroneously diagnosing. It was nutrient and essential salts depletion. The Solution: make a smoothie using yellow squash for sodium and yellow bananas for potassium with a water, soy or milk base. Simple. It is best not to consume anything else for thirty minutes. It worked like a miracle for every ride since then. I did not know a sixty year old guy needed a different dietary protocol than a twenty year old. That means SoBol is merely a nice alternative to Starbucks. Learn what YOU need. Acquire what you need. Execute.This is why I come here merely to "top off my tank". There is absolutely no reason to pay Sobols prices because it is merely buying into the owners hype. Many Sayville residents are customers. It does not mean they are smart. The ladies will come here to assuage their guilt because they had that slice of triple chocolate cake and cannot wear a size two. Real athletes like myself will eat the whole friggin cake and drink half a gallon of whole milk and not gain an ounce.For breakfast, I consume my granola or shredded wheat or bran flake cereal with an antioxidant berry smoothie and bananas, followed by one liter of water. On my bike I will carry an extra liter of water for a hard run.SoBol is a place to stop at the rides near completion or Starbucks at a cafe table where I sip my java watching the skinny ladies (whom wives hatecoming from SoBol wearing yoga pants. As for atmosphere, SoBol is not a comfortable place to spend thirty minutes to eat. I prefer a booth such as what one would find at a good diner.After sitting atop a narrow bike seat for three hours that wants to have its way with me, I have come to the conclusion that tight glutes have a purpose in life. Let me clarify: I am a Navy veteran who cannot sit on hard chairs due to chronic lower back pain and bursitis. I cycle for the cardio and to maintain the 44 inch chest and 32 inch waist. My lower back needs comfortable seating to recover from the long distance run just completed, so I prefer a well-padded bench seat.SoBol provides Spartan accommodations.One star deduction for the uncomfortable cafeteria design. A second star deduction because of pricepoint and hype to make a large profit.NOTE:My concern is if I see a Google rave review posted and it is the authors sole contribution, it is usually "fake news" and should be ignored. Most likely it is planted by the owner or a friend of the same.I write for Yelp and Google: informative and thorough. These reviews are not for getting free meals.

One of my favorite One of my favorite places to stop when I am in Sayville! Their açai bowls are the best around. Their other food items are amazing as well like their breakfast burritos and their avocado toast! The service is always friendly

This place used to be great and has consistently got worse. I just got my order and it’s basically a bowl of granola and a squirt of açaí. 10 bucks for a bowl of granola! This place is pure robbery!!!

Acai bowls and burritos are great, as are the soups! They only sell canned ice coffee unless you want hot coffee poured over ice but the food is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful

Love sobols. They feel like the original acai place to me. So glad they’ve expanded beyond Long Island. Still the best bowl I get even when I’m in the city I can’t find a better place.They also have these huge breakfast burritos that are great.

theyre known for their acai bowls but they have good food too! up until recently the only food weve eaten from there was acai bowls and quesadillas buy we just tried their soups and theyre so good! every other place that has acai bowls just doesnt measure up after eating here.

This is my first time having an Original Acai Bowl. I was attending the Sayville Summerfest in town and decided to have something different for breakfast and I am glad I tried this healthy choice at SoBol today on this beautiful Sunny Sunday here on Long Island New York!

I usually get the super bowl and love it but today I went 7/30/17 and ordered the vegetarian burrito bowl went home only to find it had chicken in it. Gave it to my son now my hubby is getting me something else while his lunch gets cold. Not pleased at all.

Super Bowls has a great variety of salads, burritos, empanadas, and acai bowls. Acai bowls are some of the best Ive had, and theyre great about accommodating food allergies.

The bowls are refreshing, service was fast and everthing was clean. Always happy to go

Called in our order went to pick it up, got cut in line while waiting to pay, another customer was yelling about wanting them to fire someone, waited on line forever finally got our food and my order was wrong. Went once never going back again.
