If you want to charge so much you should accept cards…… the drinks are worth it, but not if you’re on your last VND300k, and you’ve walked in and can’t really walk out.That said, music was ace on a Friday night (a good mix of house and pop), and drinks were okayyyy inoffensive

Great house cocktails with a slight emphasis on a bourbon base. Five stars for the ambiance and service, too. Just be aware that smoking is allowed in this bar.

Lovely bar and great live music but smells awful as many people were smoking indoors.

One of the best place in town to have a good cocktail in an intimate decor. One of my favourite place in Saigon.

Goooorgeous interior, like walking into a Rockefeller’s brownstone house. Massive selection of spirits, and carries the peerless Sông Cái dry and floral gin. Two large thing against this place is that it allows smoking indoors, gross, and has single-use plastic straws. Please get rid of the straws! They’re not classy, pollute the environment and there are a dozen sustainable alternatives in Saigon to replace them with.

The building where Snuffbox is housed is already such a cool Ho Chi Minh City must-visit, but when you arrive at Snuffbox you are instantly transported into a whole new era, from the ambient music to the incredible 1920s glam, this place is a Golden age speakeasy in the best way. The drinks were inventive and delicious. We will definitely go back. A perfect date night spot.

Cocktails were okay - a bit of a novelty place to visit really, but the building it is in is really interesting. It reminds me of the shared art/living/commercial spaces I would explore with my girlfriend during summer in NYC in the nineties. Definitely must visit at night if you’re in Saigon.

A quaint, cozy and low-key bar in the heart of Saigon. Drinks are good, prices are a little bit steep compared to other places nearby but the atmosphere is worth it in my opinion. Bartenders are friendly, not too heavy on the flair but conversational and pleasant.Its a good choice for a date, provided both of you can stand cigarette smoke!

Cocktails are good. Staff knows how to do the job. Interior is amazing! It is a little hard to find. It is located in an old run down apartment building. Still this one is worth a visit. If u like the 20s and/or electro swing, this is the place for you.

Lovely place. Nice unique drinks. Kinda hard to find, on the second floor of an old condo. Very discreet. So its a yea, if u dont mind a stinky dirty stairway to the bar.

Had a nice visit on Saturday night. Great music and cozy sphere, polite and friendly crowd. Ok selection of drinks. Its a hidden germ in the city, highly recommended! Since its a hidden germ, you must spend effort to find, locates in an old building in D1.

Great Location, superb drinks, friendly people aroumd and cool music. I went here for new years eve and it was so relaced there.The bar is in an old buildimg where many other cool coffeeshops and bars are located. The entry to this building looks not very inviting, but after you stepped up the stairs and entered the bar, you feel just lile youre in the right place.

Place had a cool vibe and DJ was good. We went a bit early for the night, so it wasn’t too crowded. The bartender was on her phone for 5 minutes before she asked us for a drink and either or English or her bartending skills were a bit lacking, not sure which was more prominent. Stopped serving food by 8pm. Cool place that I would be open to try again, but somewhat of a miss my first visit.

My favorite hidden bar in town. I love the atmosphere. This bar has live jazz music on Wednesday and Saturday. Come early for great seat or book in advance is a great choice.Love to come here with friends or you can have great date with a girl here.The coctails are not absolutely great but okay.

Super speakeasy vibes. The drinks are s t r o n g but I would totally go back again, as they are also delicious. Go up through the stairs on the side street, look for stickers to guide you (basically if you are asking if you are in the right place to find this, you probably are).

I like the hidden speakeasy vibe from this bar. You dont expect it to look so nice when you are walking up the stair well. The drinks/cocktails are all very tasty and fancy (some even come with smoked boxes). But it is very loud... Both times Ive been, the music has been way too loud so we sat outside on the balcony. Otherwise its too hard to have a proper conversation with anyone.

The speakeasy concept was really well done, the place has a really cool vibe. Its got great music, and loved the cocktails, they were really well made.Its a bit dark in there so youll need the flashlight on your phone to see the drinks menu 😄 also bring cash with you as a back up - the card machine didnt accept 3 of our cards.Its a good place for a night out and will come back :)

Got here with a group of friends. I like my drinks, not so much for my friends, but I think because theyre not familiar with these kind of liquors. I like the drink decorations a lot, especially the pirates drinks with smoke comes out from the chests (unfortunately I dont have a picture of it.Its a cool place to hangout with friends, I dont think itd be a good place for dates because of the music choice.

Found this bar while walking around near the river. You walk through an opening in a rundown building, up some dark stairs in an alley, and behind two closed doors you’ll hear faint music and thats where we found Snuffbox.The best way to stumble upon a speakeasy is when you’re not expecting it. Got two drinks to start, and when the live singer came on ended up ordering more. Loved the intimate atmosphere with large soft couches everywhere, dark lighting, and live music.Plus their drinks are delicious and cost 120000VND each!

Great service and great ambiance. The selection of alcohol is also impressive. This speak easy may be slightly hidden, but can be seen from street level. I definitely recommend a visit, especially if you want a night our for talking and chatting

Amazing bar. Loved the atmosphere and exclusivity. It’s off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit if you want a nice cocktail and a cool place to chill out for the evening.

Great bartenders that helped make really tasty bespoke drinks for me. Fun speakeasy to find as well, hidden in an alley and up a dubious flight of stairs. Once up however, you’ll be rewarded with a clean bar with many interesting cocktails on the menu.Sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders! They will give you good recommendations to drink and cater to your needs.Go early as well, as they have many special deals then and you’ll get more personalised service due to it being less packed.

Fun experience in a part of town I hadn’t previously visited. You’ll find it on the first floor of the building, with the entrance a few steps down an alleyway. Selection of drinks for 120k before 8pm (not including taxes).

Great speak easy bar with the grunge factor walking in but the upscale atmosphere once inside the venue. Cocktails are great and even better when its happy hour price. It can get warm if sitting up stairs so I suggest a table on the lower level.

A speak easy themed bar, about as well executed as you ask. Located up a stairway through an alley, and through a false door. So its not exactly, ideal for location. But the drinks are solid, the bar well stocked and the music is decent. You can smoke out the back, and the cosy seating is welcome. Drinks pricing is spot on also. This is a smart casual joint all the way and a solid location to invite a discerning (but not boujeedate.

Not an easy place to find but when you do youll be rewarded with a great bar atmosphere. Good service and large drinks menu, definitely recommend tourists to try here.

A speakeasy bar hidden in some old rundown building. Really need to pay attention to find this place. But once you get inside.. wow the ambience and setting are awesome. The cocktails are on wide selection with some smoke gimmick. It would be 5 stars of the live music was not so indy, something a little jazzy would be much better for the place.

From the outside it feels like you are not at the right place and the alley is a bit scary but after pushing the door you will be amazed by the atmosphere and the decoration of this bar casual and chic.Cocktails are very very good, live music when I went there, I had a very good time.This bar is on my top list of Saigons bar 👌👌

This is my favourite bar so far in HCMC, the chilled vibe of the place was perfect to have a drink with a friend. The prices were reasonable and fair, especially considering the attractive indoors setting. Ive only been the one time, but the place impressed me enough to want to make it my regular place to drink.

Cool hipster speakeasy vibe. Meticulously crafted cocktails range from price from 150-180 VND. Menu has some really solid options especially if youre into whiskey. The ambiance is chill and a tad bit industrial. The walk into the alley can seem sketch but its worth it.

Great cocktails. Great venue. Terrible service. We went here on a recommendation online. Drinks are punchy and deliscious (if not a little pricey). Prices exclude 10% VAT and 5% service charge. The service was abysmal. Staff hadnt a clue. A hostess wandered around aimlessly. It took ages for our drinks to be made and served. We asked for the bill and 15 mins later had to ask again saying we needed it quickly please. It still took another 10 minutes. The staff have clearly had no training and are aimless. Charging 5% Service is ridiculous. They shouldnt do table service if they cant do it properly as it threatens the reputation of what could be excellent bar. Also the vibe when we were there was awful. Someone upstairs was spilling drinks on guy below (twiceand the atmosphere felt volatile and uneasy. The staff didnt know what to do. Drinks 4 out out of 5. Service / ambience 1 out of 5 (in fact I refused to pay the 5% service on our bill). I felt bad but Im not getting ripped off and setting a precedent for others to be ripped off to. I will happily pay service where its deserved bit im not paying for terrible service. Also the loud music ruins any speakeasy vibe.

The place and decoration is very nice, ideally hidden in a old building. The bar will bring you back in the prohibition time. Service is good, however the cocktail are a big disappointment hence the 3 stars.
