Snowhotel Kirkenes in Kirkenes

Visited Snowhotel as part of Havila Capella excrusion(no stay). Huskies were the best part. They just want to play with you. Most of them are super friendly. The hotel itself was quite unique and something that me and my wife wanted to visit. There are cottages around as well within the snowhotel premises (if staying inside ice hotel is not something you want to try). There are reindeers as well around.

I have visited the Snow Hotel and made a hike with the Husky and both activities were really great !!

Authentic experience with amazing ice sculptures.One of the top highlights of our special holiday in Norway was this amazing experience. We chose the Snow Hotel because it seemed more authentic than the other ice hotels I researched, and we were right. Dinner in the barn restaurant was perfect, and the ice sculptures in the hotel rooms were amazing. Transfers and activities were well organised, and a great place to see the Northern Lights.

Has to be experience the place. It is expensive but once in a life time experience, how often you will be at Kirkeness?

Amazing stay in the gamma cabin. Really enjoy the moment there. Except for the king crab safari. We have 4 ppl + an infant. Due to my husband need to tk care my baby while the other 3 of us went for king crab safari. They not allow my husband to join other slot king safari as replacement. They jz gv duly cooked king crab to my husband as replacement after our several time requests for changes. This was truly disappointing and they not even considerate that we travelled so far from Asia to enjoy the trip. The purpose we went to kirkenes was king crab safari.

Spectacular snow hotel with 14 inside icebed rooms but also with warm cosy cabins. Very special place to see, too cold for me to spend the night, though very warm sleeping bags are provided.

Saw this "hotel" as part of a tour. We didnt stay. Very interesting place, but you would have to be very adventurous to stay here.

Super good!! Everything is perfect!! I have recommended all my friends to visit and book this activity.Dirk is our tour man and he is very professional and welcomed. He told us the history of King carbs in kirkenes and allowed us to sit on the snowmobile. This activity is so fun and gorgeous and we enjoyed from the beginning to the end. The views are so beautiful on the way to the place where we caught the crab.Moreover, all the staff in the snowhotel are super friendly and nice! We had to go back hotel after the King Cran safari and came back to the snowhotel again to attend the husky experience in the afternoon. A handsome staff member talked with us and then helped us to manage the husky experience immediately to save our time.Generally speaking, I absolutely will visits again!!

We did the all-inclusive 3 day, 2 night experience here this week. We stayed in the cabins one night and the snow hotel the other night. The cabins are warm and beautiful with great views! The snow hotel is obviously cold, but they provide you with everything you’ll need to stay warm and facilities right beside the snow hotel. It was a fun experience and beautiful inside!There are plenty of activities to do while you’re at the resort - we went dog sledding, crab fishing, and on a snow shoe hike. All 3 were very enjoyable! (The crab is the best you’ll have!)The food at the restaurant was amazing!

INCREDIBLE- everything was amazing. The views alone of the snowy tundra! The howls of the huskies and the beautiful northern lights over our rooms!

Lovely setting, love the idea of the ice rooms but not a fan of the lack of facilities I would rather stay in one of the cabins !!

An architectural masterpiece all made of snow, ice and beautiful lights. You can sleep there too. Chills and thrills!!!

Amazing place, one of a kind experience on the king crab fishing, great taste. Only problem was that we could not eat half of our crab, so starve yourself before going!Big thanks to Mitko our guide!

The place is good but no brilliant. Game cabins are brilliant. Looks they are new. Very nice planned, big, comfortable. Food was good not amazing. Small choice, but wasnt hungry:)

Great place and friendly staff but a truly awesome restaurant, next time we’d love to stay more than just the one night.

We didn’t actually have the privilege of staying here but just visited for the day to meet reindeer and go dog-sledding. Such fun!!The huge grounds are beautiful and the dogs are all such characters.

Very nice hotel, and very impressive snow art. The staff is very friendly, we forgot a hat in one of the restaurants and after a call the hotel had the hat delivered to our hotel free of charge. Thank you very much!

Beautiful hotel. I were here in the summer but I would expect it to be incredible beautiful in the wintertime when you have a full snow-covered landscape.
