Snooze in Brighton

A flawless one night stay at Snooze. Great comms ahead of time. Easy access. Comfy bed. Great power shower and loads of hot water. Awesome location with oodles of great eateries near by. What’s not to love?

My husband booked room 5 as an anniversary surprise because of my love of 60s/70 decor and design. The location was great - close enough to easily walk to the city centre, main pier and good local coffee shops but far enough away to be quiet overnight. Everything was immaculately clean and staff were chatty and helpful. We will be back!

A gorgeous hotel, such a funky design in the room, super comfy bed and a brilliant shower. Friendly host with extra attention to detail, very helpful with parking, which was really easy. Great location, great price.

We stayed at Snooze last night . It was fantastic. The room decor took us back to the 70s with memories of of happy times. The bed was comfy and the shower was very easy to use. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The owners were extremely helpful. Now that we have found you we will be back.

The hotel was in a fantastic location. Quiet street but only a few mins walk to the beach, pier, restaurants and bars. Beautifully decorated room and exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable. Tony was a friendly, excellent host and communication was great before we visited, including information about parking permits. We visited Egg and Spoon, the cafe close by, a few times for breakfast. It was great and would definitely recommend getting their food ordered to your room (service offered by the hoteland if you want to eat at the hotel. Would love to stay again when we next visiting Brighton 🙂

We stayed for 5 nights as we were looking for a base to explore Brighton and the surrounding area.The accommodation at Snooze is first-rate, with each room having its own distinct character and style. Our room (6had a cool 70s retro feel and was a decent size for the two of us, with everything we needed provided.The owners met us on arrival and were able to answer questions and suggest places to visit/eat in the area. They were also about each day, if needed.We loved the location within Kemptown, with its cafes and shops nearby. There was plenty right on our doorstep and the beach is only minutes away. Most mornings we grabbed a takeaway breakfast and went straight to the beach. We also dined out in nearby restaurants.Central Brighton is about 10 minutes away and there was so much to do and masses of options for dining out, plus all the usual city centre shopping you’d expect.We hired bikes from Brighton Beach Bikes (near the pierand cycled to Worthing. We also took a train to Eastbourne and walked the famous Seven Sisters. You are very well connected, with lots of buses (the coastal route stops nearby).To sum up, Snooze is a fantastic place and ideal for exploring Brighton and further afield. It has a laid-back vibe and is full of character. We are already planning to return!

We stayed in room 72 where everything is a 70s vibe. The walls and bed are all zebra/black and white print. The room was fantastic, it was really quiet, the staff were wonderful and friendly, and its really close to the seafront. What more could you want?

Lovely location, amazing quirky and clean room on our arrival.Owner took time to call me and pass all the important information. Also we got parking scratch cards so we have parked just outside the property.I have been travelling a lot around UK and internationally and this hotel is on the top of my list. I love Brighton and will definitely return to Snooze to enjoy it.I do recommend it 100%

Nice quirky hotel but has lost a lot now they dont do breakfast anymore.

What a wonderful hotel. The host is so welcoming and accommodating, called us on the morning of our stay to check what time we’d be ready to check in so he could be there to greet us, and was very punctual, ready waiting for our arrival.After a warm greeting, we were shown to our room which was so lovely. We stayed in room 2, and the decor and interior is so perfectly themed with such a keen eye on even minor details, I don’t think the pictures do the room justice.Honestly, we couldn’t fault our stay. The bed was so comfortable, the free wifi offered was fast and much more usable than most chain hotels I’ve stayed in. The shower was very quick to warm with good water pressure and a lovely selection of cruelty free toiletries. The room was a perfect size for us, and we found a little bigger than we expected from the pictures, with a nice choice of hot drinks that were very appreciated after a long journey.If you’re looking for a fuss free, welcoming stay within walking distance to some lovely cafes and the pier, but comfortably private from the hustle of the seafront, this is the place for you. Any time we’re back in Brighton, we won’t hesitate to book our stay here.

Stayed here for my husbands 50th birthday. We booked suite 71. What an amazing room. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was immaculate. And the bed was so comfortable we didnt want to get up in the morning. A quirky place with fantastic attention to detail. Couldnt recommend high enough.

Very different decor, nice and relaxed. Comfortable bed, room very warm.Slight problem on the last morning as the electric had tripped over night but dealt with quickly.

Excellent B and B, deserves its 4* AA award.Stayed 4 days.Why don’t all hotels and B and B have bright lights we can read with or choose our clothes. It’s everywhere 😀

The place itself was fantastic. It was in a good area close to everything we needed. We stayed in room 1, which was ideal for me as on ground floor. No noise from other guests leaving or arriving etc. Shower was great and bed was comfy. Room was amazing. Loved it and will defo stay there again. Owner was very pleasant and accommodating. We visit Brighton a lot, and this place was a great find.

We have just got here but this place is so good.Owners are lovely. Rooms are wonderful First class hotel.We are definitely coming back again for a third time.

An absolutely spectacular place, decorated beautifully. The owners definitely take pride in their business. Towels are thick and luxurious, the bed comfortable, the shower amazing. The small touches like the hot chocolate and sweets were really welcome. Please support independent businesses like this during a difficult time.

Such a beautiful and quirky hotel, absolutely loved our 1 night stay. The location is perfect for a quiet nights sleep even though only a short walk to the seafront. The room was decorated so well and the bed was super comfy. The customer service was the best I have ever received and would never stay anywhere else when visiting Brighton in the future!

The most amazing b&b I have stayed in. I would recommend to anyone to stay here, I stayed in the suite and it was so cool and funky and the owners are so so lovely and adds to the whole experience of Brighton. It’s down a quiet road but only a 10 minute walk from the pier and a 15 minute walk from the lanes and has two lovely cafes at the end of the road, with some corner shops too. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere more than Snooze! Worth every penny and super affordable :)

Had a two night stay. In these strange times everything had been done to comply to the rules with hand sanitiser available and signs in place. Received a phone call off Paul (I think that is his nameto ask when we were arriving so he could be there to greet us. We purchased parking permits and there wasnt a space available outside the B&B but he went and found us one. Unfortunately there wasnt breakfast available but there was an option for a text and delivery service from a local cafe plus information on other nearby places to eat. If I have one complaint it was the pillows were far to soft but thats just my personal choice.

This is the cutest and quirkiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The decor is amazing! The people running it are very friendly and helpful and know loads about the area if your not sure what you want to do. I will definitely be staying again.

Great stay at Snooze for one night. Hosts were super welcoming and friendly, decor was amazing and funky, and the location is great. Could do with nicer pillows, but apart from that very comfy nights stay. Will definitely be back to try a different room next time were in Brighton, and might even be tempted by the suites that include breakfast in bed.

The breakfast was awful and not included in the room price, the buffet was really poor and we paid 9 euros for some bread with butter and nutella, some ham and a coffee. The room was really uncomfortable and had no space to move, the bathroom had no door and the hotel is placed in the middle of nothing, 40 mins by walking from the city centre. Plus, the host was really rude, were never coming back again. Terrible experience.

snooze is quirky, fun and fantastic. Tony and the team at snooze are attentive and very helpful providing the lovely personalised ‘old school’ service you often don’t get these days. We loved the decor, especially our 60s retro style room. Breakfast was also delicious. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

After many bad experiences at independent hotels over the years I stopped staying at any hotel that wasnt part of a chain. This lovely little hotel really brightened my outlook on them. The owners are lovely and accommodating the room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was lovely, couldnt ask for more. I will definitely be staying here again when staying in Brighton.

One of the owners was rude & abrasive. Our room was dark, dusty & dank and cave-like. The soft, sunken mattress offered no night rest or deep sleep. Beware all you allergy & dust mite sufferers. The shaggy carpet needed a good outside shake, whilst the fitted carpet was in dire need of a thorough Hoover. Honestly reviewed by Cynthia from Cape Town

This is one of the best hotels weve stayed in. The owners are very friendly. The whole decor is quirky and fun. Our room was very clean, and the bed was sssooooooo comfortable! The breakfast was very good also. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Brighton!

The most welcoming hosts, who even call you the day before to check if there is anything they can do. The decor of each of the rooms is truly original and you definitely feel that you are staying in a hotel where the experience is important. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy room and all the facilities you would expectBreakfast included in the price, but even it it wasnt you would quite happily pay as it was of a really high standardWould definitely go back and looking forward to exploring again the Kemptown area of Brighton once more

We booked last minute for a night away in Brighton, this place was perfect! Well placed, really unique decor and very stylish.Tony was great, he arranged a parking permit for us at a good price and made sure we knew where we were going. We will definitely be going back, full English breakfast in the morning too!

Fun place to stay and perfectly located within Brighton. The rooms are full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. The cooked breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Overall faultless and highly recommended.

Staying here tonight in room 4, Paul has been welcoming and helpful for us. Giving a call the day prior to inform us about useful parking ( permit available for 24 hours at £9 at the hotel. We somehow managed to get a space directly outsideand anything else we wanted to know. Room in a good area and a short walk from the pier and local shops and amenities. Really nice decor and clean room. Will update after breakfast and nights sleep but has been brilliant so far!

Highly recommend staying here. We stayed for 1 night and everything from the curtesy call 2 days before until we checked out was great. Lovely room, super clean, cheap parking, great breakfast, wow, what more do you want? Awesome, we will definitely be back!

Just checked out of here after a wonderful two night stay. Really fun themed rooms. Not pretentious at all and really clean and well presented - I didn’t want to leave! Great shower, great decor, great in-room hot drinks selection and biscuits and sweets provided too! Lovely people run it and cook you breakfast in the morning. Me and my colleague had a beautiful vegan cooked breakfast which put us in good stead for our conference (veggie and meat options freely availableSpacious room, comfy beds, lovely duvets, nice and warm. Great shower and toilet in the little ensuite too. Near to the seaside without being on the front and walking distance from anywhere in Brighton really. The owner’s hard work to get this place perfect has really paid off. I stayed two night for a business conference and had a great couple of nights sleep. Would also recommend for anyone looking to spend a couple of days or a weekend in Brighton for leisure.

Best breakfast in town. Loved the bedroom. Had a great time with my wife. But they need to update their restaurants list. Do not trust it, rather go online and see whats the best one.

What a treasure in the Kemptown area. Close to all the highlights of Brighton, this little gem was oozing retro chic. The rooms are all playfully themed around the 1970s and the breakfast room is a work of art. The service was great, and though we only had breakfast on 1 of our 4 mornings, it was well cooked and very tasty. We would definitely stay again.

Snooze! We only stayed a night, but Ill definitely be staying here when I return to Brighton! Quirkiness at its finest, and the hospitality and breakfast was impeccable. Thank you Snooze for a great first visit!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, the decor in both the room and the breakfast room is quirky and interesting. The bed was very comfortable and at breakfast they catered well for us considering we had not warned them we were vegan. The people who run the hotel were really friendly so we would definitely come back again!

This was a wonderful place. A real gem in brighton. The decor is really unique and quirky and the owners very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfy despite being on the small side and the breakfast was just what we needed. Their restaurant suggestions were also spot on.

Ive stayed at Snooze twice and will certainly be back. Its a lovely environment to be in, stylish, fun, relaxed, comfortable and only a couple of minutes away from the beach. THE place to stay in Brighton. Doesnt get better.

Really great place to stay. Very clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. Easy to park here and easy to access the town. The owners were lovely and were happy to prepare me an off the menu breakfast as I am gluten intolerant. I phoned ahead about this, so they even had gluten free bread.I would stay here again!

From the initial booking to the checkout we were taken care of. Snooze is unique, quirky and made our stay immensely pleasurable. The room was extremely clean and tidy. Very cosy and the perfect choice for us. It was also very quiet and the only noise were the seagulls in the morning! Breakfast was wonderful and served quickly. Parking was sorted too and at a much cheaper price than using a parking meter! We were very well looked after and without doubt we will be returning. We really do recommend this lovely place but dont want to big it up too much or we might not get in when we want to book again. ;-)
