Smoky Mountain Brewery in Turkey Creek in Knoxville

Waitress disappeared for a half hour, so drinks were empty.The wings were burned. Basically, it seemed that all of the food was sitting under the heat lamp and instead of redoing it, they served it. For instance, the calzone and pizza were not fresh.Usually, we have had a good experience, but it might be a while before I return.

I went to the bar tonight. When I came in I sat down and was waiting for the bartender. All of the sudden 2 other men came after me and he automatically greeting them and asked for their drink orders. Yet he didnt even acknowledge me saying hey or ill be with you one moment. Its not even that busy. Ive been going there lots of time and this is the first I have dealt with this.

Great place to watch sports, have some good beers, and have some good pizza. Great wait staff and bartenders. Beers available for take out.

Great food and great servers. Wait time can be lengthy but thats due to location more than host/hostess.I got the mushroom Swiss burger. Cooked correctly to order and was amazing as the Maryville location. 10/10 will return!

Great food. Good. Place to take a group, something for everyone. They have bands on the weekends. It can get loud, so if you are going to hangout and chat try to get a seat on the patio.Update; The above is still True. Went there last night, service was great,Food was excellent, and there was a band. Sat on the patio with our group. Most of the patio is shaded in the evening, it was quite comfortable.

Very interesting drinks. Very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Second visit was at lunch and it was quiet and uncrowded. Good food, good service.

We came to Trivia Night and for the food. We ordered two appetizers which finally arrived an hour later. Our food arrived about 20 minutes after that, and my friends was prepared wrong. I ended up just getting my food to go because Trivia was basically over. Our waitress was good. It wasnt her fault. The manager did not charge us for some of the food. I like a pleasant atmosphere, good food, and prompt service, and to be honest we got none of those. There are Trivia games elsewhere. I wont return to this restaurant. Usually between my friends and I our combined bill is around $200. $200 a week $800 a month all lost.

Service was great. We had a training server and he did an awesome job! Although the beer was not very good... kinda just tasted like they gave me Miller light and slapped their logo on it. Food was okay just very bar food like. So if you are looking for bar food and watery beer I would go there.

Very good food and friendly staff. Menu as great food choices, pizza, sandwiches. Home made beers. Like to vist that place again next time in knoxville TN.

Honestly, the food was pretty awful and so was the service. The wings my husband got were soggy and had basically no flavor. The "blue cheese" that came with the wings tasted like ranch with cheese chunks in it. I got the mushroom and swiss burger, and while the patty was a good size, it was completely unseasoned and the mushrooms tasted like they were canned mushrooms. Our server didnt refill our drinks a single time until we asked after we were done eating. And when we did ask, he proceeded to sit directly behind us in another booth socializing before he even started to go get those. When he did bring them, he basically slammed them down on the table and walked away to pull his phone out and continue socializing.

Worst service ever, and worst food ever. Our waiter(who didnt even tell us his namespent the *entirety* of our meal sitting with the table immediately behind us, socializing and taking photos with the patrons. Then, he followed them out and played on his phone. We didnt get a refill until literally right before we paid our bill. My wifes mushroom and swiss burger was devoid of any seasoning, and the mushrooms were obviously canned and soggy. I got the wings, with their signature sauce, but it tasted like something you ordered from friggin pizza hut. The wings were soggs as can be, not "fried crispy" like the description said. We will never come back. Service and food were horrendous.very sus.

Stopped by the Turkey Creek location yesterday for lunch. I am here to say that the Grilled Burger Mountain Melt has entered my Top Two of Patty Melts of all time. Number 1 was a local diner in NJ. I told the waitress to tell the chef but I am here to tell everyone. Go and try it.

Fish and chips were fantastic. Flakey and melted in my mouth.Got it with 2 rusty nails.Highly recommend the combination!

Such a good experience at SMB!! Kaitlan is probably one of the best servers we’ve had. So personable and even though she was slammed, she was so attentive as well!! Will definitely be back!

Usually, my skewers are soft.. but they were a little tough last night. But they’re still realllllllllly good. Ale steak and “cheezy” garlic bread were both great. 🙌🏼

Pauline was our server excellent service she kept our drinks refills and was our first time visiting the restaurant. Pauline told us her favorite things to eat. We order a meat pizza it was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and restrooms were also clean. We only waited 15 minutes before seated in the dining area.

Used to be good but they changed the menu drastically and also the quality of food. We had the steak skewers tonight and let me tell you the meat was tender but old and had a smell to it, salad was old and the spinach so wilted I was shocked how much they charged for this awful meal. I had to walk away hungry and disappointed .

Terrible experience tonight, waited 45 min on food, potato skins were extremely greasy, had no flavor, and no chicken on them, Reuben was so overcooked it was like leather and there was hardly any kraut on it and server never checked on us till ticket came and never offered refills on beverages or anything! Will definitely not be back!

We had a great time at the Smoky Mountain Brewery and enjoyed our meals along with the service. Our waitress was professional and courteous and our food was on the money. We got a couple appetizers and a couple drinks and it was all excellent. I have the reuben and I was super impressed

Great choices of beer, just right size servings, good staff & better food. Bathroom was a bit trashed after busy evening shift.

I am not happy to post a negative review for what used to be our favorite neighborhood place to grab a quick burger on weeknights, when I was just not into cooking, but after 2 straight failures here I am. Since ridiculously loud team trivia has limited us to Wednesday nights before 8, when the loud live music starts, we planned our trip with purpose. Plus burger night. First trip both of our burgers were overcooked so back they went for refire. The second ones came out perfect, but we had to ask to change booths because the light was out at the table and we could not see. Flash forward a week to this past Wednesday. After waiting for a booth to be cleared, we were seated at the booth next to the one from the previous week( the light bulb was still out, btw). We waited about 10 minutes for a server and then waited about 10 minutes for our beer and another 5 for our server to get back and take our order. 30 minutes later, our burgers came out and 1 was overcooked. Not wanting to wait another 30 minutes for another, my husband requested it be removed from our check and shared mine. By this time, he was cranky and ready to leave as the band was tuning up and it was getting loud. We had to ask for a manager, which I thought was odd since I am sure he had to know there was a problem. Worst people skills ever, he just said he was sorry and hoped we had a great rest of our day. Went and got burgers from Hardees

The chicken burger is a good choice.. as is the Fish and Chips. I recommend getting the sampler shown. They are about 5oz pours so you can definitely share them.

Good food, nice waitress. Just took noticeable time to get food to table considering how not busy it was. Burger kinda warm, macaroni fire hot. Ehhhh...

My fiancé and I work in the industry as well, also have worked for copper cellar. We do not leave reviews, but no one should get this bad of service. I understand coming into a restaurant late and the server being upset because they have side work to close down, but we came in at least a half hour before the kitchen closed. We had just gotten out of our restaurant, if we were not sat in the closing section maybe the fault is there. Now for the experience, during the greet we learned our server was upset which is fine we all have bad days. We were ready to order right away to make things easier and faster, our boneless wings and cheesy bread appetizer was completely forgotten and we just bit the bullet, our food comes shortly, as expected with end of night food it is not cooked well. The nachos were completely awful, (which we normally lovethe kickback burger has no ltop the sauce requested on the side was not there. At this point still would never leave a review, if there was some care provided at all. The server does not check on the food until the burger is done the nachos weren’t touched we explain they were not good. She takes them and asks if she can get us anything else so she does at least do that. But the I don’t care factor is just ridiculous. At the end of this all the bill is exchanged and we still left a fat tip to try and either make a day better or at least maybe get some sign of life from her, just nothing. The review is so maybe she can make sure an experience like this doesn’t happen again. If we didn’t work in the field I’d completely rule out this place as a spot to eat. And I’ll only use her first initial “E” so if this is seen hopefully it can be a tool to help her make sure no one experiences this without putting her on full blast like we should.

Always have Good food, service.. wow...is what you expect with so many job opportunities out there. Were usually here for lunch or dinner about once a month, have great food and good service. Tonight, we had waitress with long dark hair who either didnt listen or didnt care, and she only had 3 tables! Not worth listing the details but if you visit the turkey creek location and they seat you in section with long dark hair waitress, ask for another table or different server. Manager picked up the bill and stopped us after we listed 3 issues he couldnt defend. I get it, its only a restaurant and much more important issues in our country to concern ourselves with. Ended up at Krogers and made good meal at home.

The server (Gracewas awesome!!!The double order of wings is enough for two people to split. The Thunder Road sauce is the best sauce on the menu, to dip or have the wings tossed in.Chicken tender meals for the kids are perfect, and the honey mustard sauce is good. Honestly their chicken tenders are the best around.Now the bad, one of our side salads had a piece of plastic in it so it wasnt finished. The manager didnt come out to apologize and the salad wasnt complementary. Probably a sign of over all customer service in 2022, but thought it was noteworthy for the review.

First time dinning there. The experience was simply amazing. Everything was so good from the food to the drinks which all was topped off by excellent service. Kallie was very attentive. Best experience I have had eating out in a very long time.

The smoky mountain brewery is a great restaurant but this specific location is terrible. I went a couple weeks ago and received raw chicken and was met with no compensation whatsoever. Then tonight I order a to go order there is two bags and they are full I expect everything to be in there. We live about an hour away and come home and find that our steak is not there. How do you give all the sides and forget a steak is beyond me. So I call asking for a refund and I am met with a manager who has no idea what he is doing. Telling me it is difficult to do a refund because of chow now. So I decided to take into my own hands and call chow now and fixed the refund issue in 5 minutes. It really was so “difficult” to fix it. Will not be coming back to this location.

Ate here tonight, waitress was lovely. HOWEVER, i got the caesar salad. I don’t know what the recipe is, but if you want old ice berg lettuce, some shredded cheese, dressing, and one singular black olive slice then this is your go to. I don’t even like black olives, but if I did, there would have only been one sliver of an olive in it. Nothing else, no croutons, tomatoes, nothing. $7 for some old lettuce and dressing. Next, I had to dive into my boyfriends pizza to at least satisfy any sort of hunger. BIG MISTAKE, I can honestly say it’s the worst pizza I have ever had in my life, so salty and greasy and sad. The crust was soggy from the grease, the cheese had an off texture, and was just full on saltiness. My side of mac and cheese was the only thing I can say was a somewhat good experience, along with the waitress being kind. I am never inclined to write poor reviews, and I mean it. But I had to say something. The atmosphere itself could have been fun, but my night was ruined by my hunger and really unsatisfactory food.

I went here for the first time last night and had a great experience. A family member of my was passing through on their way home and it was a little over an hour before they closed and five minutes before they’re kitchen closed. They still let us order with no hesitation. Great atmosphere, staff, and food. My steak was amazing and so was the spinach dip! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Excellent service. Heather the beer tender was super helpful. 30 plus high definition TVs including a projector Jumbo screen. The food is excellent. Especially the pizza. I definitely recommend you sit at the bar.

As a pizza nut , I can 100 percent say the pizza here is awesome.. I got just a cheese pie with extra cheese and the entire pizza was great .. crust was airy and buttery good flavor.. the sauce was sweet but not to sweet and have good flavor and seasoning.. the cheese was plentiful and had great flavor with it being distributed all over the pizza. The crust had some cheese melted all around the edges that gave it almost a asiago type flavor which was very flavorful and enjoyable.. can also mention this pizza reheats very well , I preheated oven to 350 and placed pizza in the oven for 8 minutes and it sprang back to life just like it was the day before... This goes to show they use real ingredients in their pizzas. (Try that with any big name pizza place and it turns to tasteless cardboardI highly recommend smoky mountain brewery for someone looking for a great pizza and a awesome atmosphere! Look forward to coming back!

Everything was awful. Server didn’t realize we were at the table until 20 minutes after we were seated. We didn’t end up getting our food until 2 hours after we were seated. The service was terrible. The server only checked in on us twice. Once to get us drink and second to put our order in. The stuffed shells were as hard as a rock and unenjoyable. The manager was extremely rude. Luckily he took care of the whole check. I don’t plan on coming back.

Waitress was extremely unpleasant and did not appear pleased to be working. She never even smiled and or brought me a plate to eat on. The pizza was greasy with watery sauce and a pound of tomatoes. There were so many tomatoes that I couldn’t hardly see any other ingredient.I guess that’s what I get for going in an hour before closing?? I wanted to explain how the pizza was not properly prepared but the manager was just as unpleasant as the waitress. No smiles, no apologies, no offer to remake it. What an attitude with a power trip. We were traveling and just wanted a late dinner…not sure why people have to be so unpleasant and ruin your experience. We certainly won’t be back and would not recommend.

Came in for some brews and food. Pat are bartender, was cheerful and informative.Great Job! Building was industrial with the brewery in the back.

The quesadilla, fries and potato salad had to be the best parts of our late lunch. Steaks were tough cuts that were NOT cooked as requested. Our waitress came by twice to check on us. She was friendly but would have loved more interaction.

A busy place (never too busy that you have to wait longwith great food and well formulated craft brews. Staff is friendly, though a bit over worked (understandable considering the local work force wants stimulus instead of employment). Good environment (music is a little louder than preferredand plenty of visual stimulation (tvs everywhere inside). This is my favorite location.

Beer selections are GREAT. Burger was very good however, the spinach artichoke dip was flavorless and soupy. The batter did not stay on the onions. The potato salad was very good. Very expensive lunch--wont visit for food again.

Dog friendly covered outside area! The food is really good with a vast selection of items. The sausage and cheese plate is really great. I love the choice of crostini and the spicy mustard. The Reuben was a bit to buttery (if that can be a legitimate complaint 😁the pizza is good not great but if I wanted great pizza I would go to a pizza place. Long island teas definitely hot the spot!

The desk clerk mentioned Smoky Mountain as a good local place for supper. We were seated quickly even with it being busy.One unusual thing was a live band getting ready to play and it’s Wednesday night! How cool is that!The service was great.We ordered burgers and pizza. Plus sides of fries or mashed potatoes.The pizza was a hit as were the burgers. The fries were a bit limp and not too hot. They’d been sitting a while. The mashed potatoes were a bit lackluster and the one item that was basically ignored.Yes we would definitely come here again if in the area. We also recommend stopping here for anyone passing through.

Great food and fast and friendly service. Its nice that you can see the brewery through the glass while you dine. Its worth stopping in for some great food and ale.

Super chill atmosphere to say the least. Saturday night there was actually a live DJ and live cover One Man Band! We were celebrating my sisters birthday and we got a nicely spaced 8 passenger Roundtable which is rare but definitely appreciated.The space is very large and they even have clear glass separating walls which adds a modern cool futuristic look. The bathrooms are also decent in this place, at least talking from the mans perspective.The food was surely awesome as well and the service that we got was complete. It DID TAKE about 10 minutes for me to get my initial drink but it was kind of special so I did let it slide. If youre curious to know it was a peach Tea unsweetened, which is not one of their usual and had to be made at the bar special hand crafted! Yeah I got it like that I suppose.This is good for the families with kids and adults alike. I dont believe it gets too rowdy and if you do not want the lie Ive seen you can skip right next door about 20 steps away to Calhouns, also Family Restaurant and owned by the same company.Things to try are definitely the Thunder Road wings with I believe its called the Thunder Road sauce. And they also have great fries and hamburgers any one of them you try you will love!ENJOY!

Average food with a good atmosphere. An awesome band was playing while we ate near the bar. Theres also a good selection of beers there. I ended up getting the sampler of all of them. The servers really made the place more enjoyable.

The food tastes great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Cozy atmosphere, live music on the weekends and a great selection of beers to choose from. You cant go wrong by stopping in and giving them a try.

Somewhat loud environment so dont plan on any deep conversation. Service was good and I had the best Cajun Chicken sandwich I have ever had. Get there before 6 or youll have to wait.
