Little bit of nostalgia coming back here for the first time since covid. Great food great price and great service.

Great breakfast; fast, efficient and server was very friendly.

It was decent. Quick service and nice staff but our coffee cups werent washed very well. There was unwashed coffee stains on them :/

The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and even though it was fairly busy the wait staff we had was very polite and somewhat friendly.

The staff was very friendly and the portion were very big. It was also very good.

Very nice family restaurant, restaurant has been at this location for more than 30 years, used to call Smittys Pancake House

Once a year we make the trek up to the Kawarthas as a group of 20...and every year, we make it a point to stop here for breakfast on our long journey home. These amazing men and women, go above and beyond to accommodate us all, and we have NEVER had a complaint about their food, atmosphere or service! We will be back, again and again, to our lovely spot in Peterborough Ontario, for our favourite shredded/loaded home fries and amazing breakfasts, served with smiles by our gracious hosts!!! Thanks again for an amazing experience!!!

Good, plentiful food and great, friendly service. And great to talk to the owner for tips on local motorcycle routes :)

I have been coming to Smittys for years, since 1986. I have always enjoyed eating here. The food is great, and the seating is keeping me coming back. you can always enjoy your little pot of coffee over a chat. Some places you cant hear across the table, but at Smittys you can. Reasons I come back, the washrooms are clean. Smittys have some of the most attentive waiting staff. Mainly the food. The greeting you get at the door. Always allowing people to have time to chat. Thankyou for being here for all these years.

Well, had a very different experience this morning. Ordered from Uber Eats, delivery driver refused to pick up the order. Todd reached out and was extremely helpful finding a new driver. Needless to say, we deleted Uber and will order directly from the restaurant now. The food was exceptional, and so was the service. Thank you so much, Todd and the smittys team. We will definitely be back!

Smittys is very yum and tasty. Staff is lovely and some super consistently scrumptious breakfast food. Heavily recommend 👍

Smittys has always been extremely good. But it cost me 100 dollars to have 3 breakfasts

An excellent place to have breakfast. My wife states the best Eggs Benedict she has ever eaten. Kelly (a career waitress with 39yrs experiencewas an absolute delight, and the owner Todd came to our table and chatted with us as we were finishing up. Our hotel (Holiday Inn across the streetincluded free breakfast, but we opted to eat here instead. I’m glad we did, and we will definitely be back.

Both times we visited were excellent! Attentive staff, fabulous food. Will be making this our regular place for breakfast/lunch. Thank you.

Great environment, friendly staff, & quality food. A local institution with owner that cares for their patrons!P.S. ask about the Monte Cristi, off menu but it is the best Ive ever had, hands down.

Took my folks there for our day after the wedding breakfast. The food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for someone looking for a fantastic morning breakfast. Anything with egg in it tastes amazing.

went here for breakfast and the food was amazing !!! the cinnamon roll pancakes were to die for … SO good! very sweet of course but i split with my partner and it was perfect :a large portion. the home fries were very yummy as well! our server was very sweet and friendly. a nice restaurant with lots of seating. we will definitely come here again!

Overall good experience thanks to Barb’s attentive and welcoming personality, food being good and coming out hot, eggs being how I ordered, and plentiful coffee.

Smittys has been our go to during our time at Trent. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, especially Diana who is always joking and checking in on us. Truly the best way to spend your mornings. No where else compares

Incredible meal. Incredible staff. Above and beyond service. French toast was to die for, and they bought us freezies from the convenience atore to aid our hang overs.

We were there on the holiday Monday after the big storm and they were packed! Our server and everyone else in the restaurant made us feel like we were the only ones there! Food was spectacular, everyone enjoyed it (even the little girls), wasnt that long of a wait considering how busy they were, and the price was reasonable. We will be back . Thanks everyone!!

Food’s tasty & staff are very personable and quick with our food plus the view of the marina is lovely. We went for a walk after breakfast which made the experience that much better :)

Always consistent and enjoyable choices. I enjoy choosing between the breakfast options. Sometimes I really want pancakes with my eggs.Love the coffee pot left for us on the table. Really love that!

Love the skillets. Served quickly, hot, and a variety of flavors to satisfy a hungry appetite. With the unending pots of coffee, and delicious toast, this is a favourite spot for breakfast out!

Pretty cool place. The water is much TASTEE and I like it lots and Todd is a pretty cool dude gotta say. Second best experience ever next to good ol McDicks :)

Food is good, prices are reasonable, and Todd the owner works the restaurant and makes sure everyone is as happy as he can make them.

My hubby and i miss Smittys (due to the pandemicWe order Smittys for delivery. I had the turkey meal and my hubby had a burger ect. Amazing and fresh. I love Smittys and the staff and owners are one of a kind! Truly a gem.

Service was fantastic. The food was big breakfast. 2 egg, home fries, and 3 sausage. Average run of the mill breakfast with a price tag of the better part of $20. I have a hard time justifying the $75 dollars it costs for a family Sunday morning breakfast. But to top it off Im required by etiquette to tip my server, who is doing her job well and efficient, but its breaking the bank to keep that practice up.

I meant to leave this review a while ago- but I have ordered twice since moving nearby recently for delivery, and the food arrives both hot and very tasty, with a nice note on the bag that made me smile both times. Would definitely recommend for a quality breakfast.

Im a 15 year restaurant industry veteran and Ive tried many places eggs Benedict and theirs is by far the best Ive had in years. Prompt service, great food, and prices reflect the quality. I will highly recommend my friends anytime

Super friendly staff that were attentive and helpful. Food came out fairly quickly and was hot. Good variety on the menu of breakfast and brunch dishes. I also liked that the (really steamy hotcoffee came in a Thermos so that I could serve myself instead of waiting for the server. I would definitely go back

My Dad just moved to Peterborough and I am here to help him settle in.We have been to this Smitty’s two days in a row and absolutely LOVE it. Amazing service, owners are EXCEPTIONAL! The food was incredible. The owner even drew us a map to help us easily find our way around town. We will return for sure and I know my Dad will become a regular when I am gone!

Great service, followed all the COVID protocols. Had the Eggs Benedict with optional bacon bits/cheddar/green onion and sour cream, it was great. Bit pricy but tastes great!

I wish I had taken a picture of the food here, but it looked so good I just had to eat it. The pancakes are huge here and they are delicious. The quesada my wife had was also delicious and very colourful, clearly the staff puts an effort into the presentation of the food.The staff are the real highlight though, extremely friendly, personable and prompt with service. Great experience and I will be back!

Our server was excellent, she was so warm and friendly. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The prices seem high for "breakfast", but it is much more than just a few eggs and strips of bacon. Well worth stopping in.

We did not expect the level of service we received at Smittys. To start, they have great activity mats for kids to play with to keep them occupied. When I asked if a soup contained any dairy, they sent the chef out to talk to me to see if it was an allergy, and what they could do to accommodate me. Before they put toppings on the burger, the manager came over and said it normally comes with lettuce and tomato, but since it was for a younger child he just wanted to ask if she would eat those toppings (in fact she wont, we were really glad he asked).Drinks were always full, and we were well attended to even with a full house. The meals were huge portions; everyone enjoyed theirs. There were lots of great options for the kids, for those who wanted breakfast, and for those who wanted lunch. But honestly, it was really the friendly banter and attentiveness of the staff that made this such a great visit. I think this is going to be a new favourite for meals out with the family.

I went with my roommates for the first time today. Got the spinach omelette. Enjoyed every bite of it. The food was hot unlike many breakfast places I have been to. Ellen was friendly and very professional. Very clean environment as well.

We went yesterday for lunch, very friendly staff, good food and hospitality. Restaurant was renovated very nicely. Manger or owner came by with food, he was very pleasant and asked if we need anything else. Very good price, their breakfast choices are very good you won’t be disappointed.
