Smart Hotel in Montevideo

The customer service was great. They were very friendly and spoke English. Our room wasnt yet ready at check-in time, so they provided us complimentary snacks and coffee in the attached restaurant, which were very good. The breakfast was served in the same location and was delicious. The three-person room we reserved was as pictured and spacious. The Wifi also worked well and came in at 19 Mbps for the download and upload speed. The area seems to have quite a few street people walking around at night, so it feels a little unsafe if youre by yourself.

Stopped off for a night before joining ship in Montevideo. Where do I start? This hotel is excellent. The room was modern, clean, and excellently maintained. The food was fantastic, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is close to the best sights in the city centre, although the street itself is a bit run down but that shouldnt detract from the experience. Could not recommend this place more.

- Deluxe room is modern, big and comfortable. It has a microwave, small fridge, sofa, non smart TV, lots of universal plugs, a long desk, table with chairs and kitchenette.- The doble bed is made of two mattresses, which is really uncomfortable, there is a whole in the middle of the bed.- Restaurant is closed on weekends. Food is average, American burger is recommended. Breakfast is a bit overpriced, no milk available, but it was decent. Delivery food is allowed into the hotel.- The area is dangerous and not very pretty, but it is well located.- The staff was really nice and helpful.- Good water pressure at the shower and non disposable amenities, which is appreciated.They should really change the mattresses, but I still recommend it.

Stayed one week. It’s good enough if you just want to rest and do work at room. They have everything you need, but nothing gorgeous. the location at night seems a bit dangerous.

Worst hotel dont care about customer sNo air conditioning , I stayed 2 days in summer without A. C no one care about that food also worst No drinking water

Very convinient location, great room and view, great breakfast. We arrived during night and didnt look like what we expected but once it was morning you could see how wonderful entire place is.

No vegetarian food was offered. Poor service lots of room to improve.

Nice clean place. Great service. Very accommodating with our huge account of luggage. Great location very close (walking distanceto Plaza Independencia, Ciudad Vieja, 18 de Julio, and Mercado del Puerto.

Spent 4 amazing days in this hotel. Simple but great :great room with an amazing view on the 6th floor with the top of a tree facing my window ! Good breakfast. Great quiet location that is central but not too central !

Love it! Clean hotel, very modern (hard to find in Montevideo), well-priced and close to the city center and the Old Town. Highly recommend!BTW, the downstairs bar has some tasty food, and great cocktails. You should try their mojitos, just make sure to ask for "no mue dulce"👍I have stayed here once again: different room, same style, same cleanness, great service and breakfast, super friendly staff. One of the best places Ive experienced!

Very nice hotel for the price. Sometimes it is noisy on the surrounding areas but it wast much problem for me. It is within walking distance from the main avenue in the old city. The breakfast was good but would have been better if the menu was changed every now and then. The staff are welcoming and ready to help. I recommend the hotel.

I cannot possibly give a better review of the staff at this hotel. The internet is wickedly fast and that was a huge bonus for me. They are courteous and friendly by all levels of measure. The bar restaurant attached is delicious and the staff there was impressive enough to leave a lasting memory. I will definitely visit that restaurant again. I highly recommend this hotel.

A simple, but, great hotel, friendly staff, clean room. Breakfast could be better.

Positives: Very Clean & modern rooms, great price for location and rooms provided, breakfast was also decent.Negatives only the noise you can hear from the street below (we were on the 6th floorand that no parking is available.

Centrally located to easily get around the majority of interesting things in Central and old Town. Smart features in the room and hotel. The hotel desk provides great advise for the area.

Great location, room was superb, good eating nearby and most site-seeing is within walking distance. Ines at reception was a gem and gave me the best advice on what to try and where to go. Not disappointed!

We didnt stay at this hotel but had an Issue with our reservation with the hostel we were supposed to stay at, it was past midnight and we just had arrived in Montevideo and no body could help us, we stopped by this hotel to ask for availability and they were all booked but RODRIGO at the front desk was beyond our expectations, my boyfriend had lost his phone and tried to call the taxi site to find it and he made a couple of phone calls to different places to see if they had any room available, he helped us out to find a place to crash the night, his empathy and genuine interest to provide us service regardless not being guests of this hotel made the difference, you should be happy and honored to have the best customer service with him.

The hotel was simple, but surpricingly nice. Service at front desk was also good. Breakfast was as expected. Only negative was that the windows wasnt very good isolated, which made it a bit difficult to sleep in the morning, with traffic and construction ourside the window.

I am sure it used to be a nice and modern hotel. But I am not so sure it still is. Beside its nice interior design it partially looks shaby and not very well maintained.And be aware that opposite the hotel they started to rise a skyscraper - it is incredibly noisy even on 9th floor.

Nice hotel close to the old town. Awesome staff, funny bartender and solid view on the terrace, open for all guests.

Great price! Modern design, practical furniture, OK bed, spacious, good air-conditioning, limited closet space, nice views, questionable surroundings.
