Beautiful castle and gardens. I was lucky enough to catch a Jazz concert on my afternoon visit.

Breathtaking views. Very relaxing.

Nice Terrace in the front side of the Castle. The applepie was amazing.They have picknick baskets with cheese, ham, pastries and other tapas for 27€. You can then have a picknick in the garden of the Castle.On the Backside there is an open air theater that, from what i know, present different acts during the summer. The program that i know takes places on wendsdays.Picknick and theater all in once would be the option i would go for.

Good for a short evening walk. The gardens are lovely.

Could be nice but was closed even though it was mentioned to be open.....probably only for bookings, meetings and similar occasions....the gardens were great and the restaurant good with very friendly staff! 👍

Lovely place for a picnic. Children and adults will enjoy the garden.Interior is marvellous.

Beautiful environment, particularly if you bike from Bunnik or Utrecht Science Park

The town of Zeist has a remarkable atypical centre which consists of a 17th century mansion (1686 Dutch Classicism by Jacobus Romanand a park in which the Moravian brethren (Hernhutters, Unitas Fratrumhas build a Sisters House and a Brothers House in Dutch Classicist architecture in the 18th century. It reminds one of St. Petersburg, Versailles & Amsterdam, because of its impressive layout. Zeist is not a touristic place, but when you love Dutch heritage & architecture this is a must-see.

It is very beautiful place to sit and have picnic. Also you can bring your cycle and bike around.

I didnt get to go inside but its a beautiful area to walk around and a lovely building. I also really enjoyed the different art sculptures in the park surrounding it. Very fun.

We were not allowed to go in, but we enjoyed a walk around the building.

Take a walk around the grounds, cook artwork and trails. Theres a Cafe but I didnt try it, looks gezelig.

Nice and quite place. Possible to have a picnic, or sit and relax, on lawn back side of a castle.

Pretty location very very terrible food. Had a work xmas party there.... they were late withe food for main course at 22:30. For a steak tougher than my shoe. Was very very disappointed. Staff was great serving though. But the food experience was the worst. Very big shame unfortunately. Will definitely never reccomend this place.

One of the main attractions in Zeist is Slot Zeist, a castle in good shape with an active agenda of events like expositions, musical performances etc.Very wel accessible and within minutes from the centre of the village. Great for a walk, nice to have your sandwich in the park around the castle. Just lovely

An ideal place to have a conference, meeting and wedding too. Easy access also by public transport.

We got married here and it was beautiful and wonderful! The staff was very helpful with organizing the ceremony. We got married in the Spiegelzaal and it was stunning. The grounds were great for photos!

Nice 17 century castle, or mansion.

We had a lovely day here, there was a antique market, very nice place and garden!

The castle looks absolutely beautiful and is located in an equally beautiful park with cute ponds, wooden bridges and woods.

Build by one of the Oranje Nassau family members. Easy reachable by bus. Nice wedding and festival location. Dont miss the lente/spring festival.

Beautiful castle and nice art around it

We turned up and no one was there. No information. We thought tourists could just come visit. Kind of disappointing.

Theres a lot of history to be learned here at this picturesque castle. Its certainly worth a visit to see the outside, and perhaps pop in to the cafe for a coffee.The interior is a bit disappointing; somewhat dilapidated with little classical furniture, it just feels empty and falling apart. The only reason to pay a visit would be on one of the many musical performances, as the acoustics are warm and fitting.The cafe misses atmosphere with plain wooden tables and chairs in two echoing and noisy rooms.
