Skylark Motel in Riverside

Staw away over 120$ for 1 night ..not worth it they dont do weekly ..over 800$ for 1 week ...stay away ..... weekend are 145$ a night....watch you will see dont do it!!!

Well Im afraid this was not a good place this time. I went in using the key card. The room was very dirty and the bed was not made. There was trash throughout and there was an empty Whiskey Bottle sitting on the nightstand. Even more strange there was a couple waiting behind me and the motel guy gave them the same key card as my room. The manager gave me a different room no problem but the toilet didnt work correctly you had to take the lid off the back of the tank and mash the plunger down to keep it from running.

Clean and quit. Staff friendly.

Very accommodating. Clean. Quiet. Not too expensive. Safe. The owners/management are nice. Love their housekeeper, Michelle.

Clean, quite. And the price aint bad either refrigerator microwave cable TV.

3 out of 3 stars, for sure. The front desk staff is pretty rude, usually in the housekeeping is very nice. Dreams are decent, but definitely old-fashioned and needs to be remodeled, but they are generally pretty clean, all things considered. Ive never had a problem with bed bugs or any other bugs of any kind. Would I recommend it, definitely not but what I stay there again, yes only because the Price Is Right. Just remember, you get what you pay for it. Anyways, thank you Skylark Motel staff her having reasonably priced rooms that are at least somewhat decent and clean. I will definitely be staying there again. Thank you.

I would have given them stars but their bedspreads need replacement. Some of the bathroom fixtures need repair or replacement also, BUT its an excellent place to stay if youre flexible and not a very critical person. Excellent price also.

Skylark was less than pleasant. The be was a big, comf California king with three comfortable pillows but the room wasnt very clean! There was still dirt on the floor and blood splatter on the bathroom walls and door from a prior visitor who apparently squirt blood from their syringe on to the walls/door. Disgusting. The front desk employee was rude and pushy as soon as check out time came. They employees at the front desk were so rude, mean, shiesty.. I really dont have much good to say about this place. Dirty, outdated rooms and rude staff.

Wow, here we are at the Skylark Motel. H m m m. But the price for non-competitive. And it is right up the street from Zacatecas tacos! They do give you a fridge... employees are friendly and courteous... But! Theres absolutely no security especially at night when various Peterson Tweakers are sneaking and skulking around... and who knows what theyre up to ball the guy behind the front desk is snoozing?

Okay, at least it was clean, but they would not give a weekly rate.

On a bright note...staying here builds character.

They are one of the rudest place ever, even when to call to get a room is the worst. It’s honestly seems like they are make that you want to stay there. I will never stat at this place. Under a bridge sounds so much better.

Poor customer service. Rude attitudes. Roach infested. Cheap; you get what you pay for

The owner is very rude he keeps starring at everything the guests do and they was a spider and a roach in the room the spider was in the shower and the roach was on bed

I went there to get a room the guy which he said his name is SAM told me 75 dollers I gave him the money he handed me the room key now not even 2 minutes into the room he calls the room and asked me to come to the office Im like okay here I come I get there he said how many people are with you Im like myself who is staying in the room and my cousin who is helping me get my things out who is not staying he goes well its 10 doller deposit for a extra person so again I said hes not staying hes helping with getting my stuff out if you would of continued to watch the cameras you would of seen him leaving but instead you want to assume hes staying . But anyways then he goes and says well I need a 10 doller deposit cause you got a non smoking room so I told him your lying because you would of told me that when I paid you the 75 dollers . So me Im not about to argue cause I just got off work and all Im trying to do is sleep now if you cant allow me to do so Im happy to give ur key back and you give me my money back which he did very disrespectfuly so I asked for his managers name he says hes the manager so I asked for the owner he then says hes the owner ok well give me a card and your full name and number he says SAM PATEL IS HIS NAME . Well long story short I will not return to them I can give my money to a place who will have manners and customer service.

Dirty , old , not clean overpriced and shower was so dirty I had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean everything just to tolerate it if our truck had not broke down and we could have went somewhere else I would have!

We didnt stay, drove in and too expensive ; check in was after 3pm only in area.

Discussing doesnt even seem like they even actually clean, THEY HAVE BEDBUGS.I told the manager about it and began to yell at me saying I WAS LIEING ,then accused me of bringing them to the motel.

Everyone that works there is rude not a good place to stay the prices are to high the worst place i ever stayed at

THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!!! And when I brought it up, the manager got overly defensive and began to yell at me for bringing up having being biten!

This is a hit or miss situation one day you stay and the management is accommodating and the next your treated like pariahs. The rooms are modestly decorated and clean.

Dont recommend for family vacations. Room was unsanitary from top to bottom it seemed like. But I guess if you dont mind thick cigarette smell, stained dirty outdated furniture/carpet/bathtub/bedding then its the perfect spot for you.

The guys son Sandy Wright always calls hookers when his dad isnt at work. Its run by a Indian family. The place is a hole in the ground!! I want to give the place lower than one star

This flea bag motel has no business in the area do not waste your money here, support the u.s citizens not these terrorist that work here. Enough said

Rude on the phone and simply hung up on me when I Said I wasnt interested. Very unprofessional.

I just called to inquire about rooms and was hung up on 3 times. The first time, I inquired about room prices and he said "let me look" and then hung up. The second time, I asked to speak to a manager and he said "okay", I told him thank you and he hung up again. The third time, I called and told him I did not appreciate being hung up on and he claimed that my saying thank you made him think the call was over, said he was the manager, and hung up again. Utterly horrible service.

My girlfriend went down to get a soda and when she got back the phone started ringing when she answered no one was on the line. Then there was a knock on the door. It was the hotel clerk accusing her of knocking on his door and calling her a liar when she said she didnt. He then claimed we had answered the phone and set it aside instead of saying anything when she had said hello at least 3 times. He then proceeded to say that her knocking on his door was on video and he was calling the police. Ive never seen such harassment and disrespect from the employee of a business I was visiting. I also found drugs, blood, hair and and a tourniquet in the room. I wasnt going to complain because at $67 a night I expected some drug usage had happened in the room. But after being harassed and called a liar I want to warn people to stay away from the nasty and rude place.

This is a nice place to stay.there are many restarunt near by its a very nice and clean property
