SkyLounge Amsterdam in Utrecht

The location is very nice, but you need ti stay in a line to wait for a table to be free. We waited 1 hour, when was our turn to go up, they let 5 groups to enter , i guess were hotel guests or people who know people who work there. After 1 hour, we go up to the lounge, to notice they have plenty of tables available, the food is not good, the service is slow. I gave 2 stars just for how it look inside and the view. Need to work on your policy about letting people in. I can not believe we waited 1 hour to enter in a lounge where there are many tables available.

Not cheap, 20€ for a Gin Tonic is exaggerated.The waiters served me twice the wrong beer Ive ordered on different days and I counted 12 staff members and felt the service was on the slow side, it wasnt even very crowded.Great view and quality drinks but if you are expensive, I expect better quality on the details.

Excellent view, disappointing service and very long wait time at a quiet period in the day. Would not recommend in the weekend.Arrived at 4.10pm on Sunday afternoon. There were two small groups of people in front of us at the queue, we were told the wait would be 30 mins. After waiting 1 hour and 15 mins we were let in. The bar was empty, there was no need to wait for such a long time when there was plenty of space.As you can see from the photos it was really quiet yet they let the queue build up. Being cynical this could be a ploy to drum up business.

Great place for a "skyline" view of Amsterdam.Friendly staff, good food. All around awesome location.

Waited in line for 20 minutes, started off great and then we waited for over 25 minutes to be asked if we were going to order anything else. We poured our own wine while we waited, not a problem, but then a manager stopped by and stated it was last call. We were never able to order anything besides a bottle of wine. Views are amazing but id be careful if you are looking for great service cause this isnt it.

Ok...disclosure...I am more down to earth than head in the clouds. But so many reviews said "best view" and it is a great view of the buildings and the river. But I so much more enjoyed the canal side small bars to see the homes (not just buildings), watch the walkers and bikers (not the drunk table next to me), and relax to the sounds of the area (not the driving music blaring from speakers). So, go take a picture (but go early...I had to wait about 30 minutesand then catch the tram ...if down to earth is your thing, too.

Excellent views and cocktails. We stopped in during the afternoon for refreshments on a hot day, and there wasnt much wait. They claimed to be able to make ANY cocktail you wanted, and in our case, they delivered. I took one star away because the food was a little underwhelming. Not bad enough to complain about, just not as good as most of the other food we had in Amsterdam.

Service was careless, chairs uncomfortable (possibly deliberately). Food OK though some prices drifting up a bit. Burger looked peculiar. View OK though I have seen better. Dont come in the evening because there will be queues - lunchtime was quieter.

Went with family. Was well received, no prior bookings. Just walkin and enjoy the sunset. Floor 11 @ hilton

The beautiful blue eyed manager Olga was amazing! Made our experience visiting Sky Lounge one to remember.

Normal place on the roof... Nothing extra..But..To get there you need to stay in line around 1 hour.. Beacouse it is not enought people working on rooftop restaurant, they have a problem to giving a service to everybody, so New people let come up, only if somebody come down🤷‍♂️

the lounge bar recommended by my friend live in Amsterdam. Very nice experience for the kind service, delicious food and drinks.Originally we were assigned to an outdoor table, and a little cold that day, an waitress came and asked if we want to move inside, we said yes and got a nice table near the large window side, so we can really enjoy the sunset and also feel warm🥰It is no doubt a nice place worth to line up for an hour or more, beautiful scene and good food♥️

We were here as a group of 8 people (spontaneous and without reservation). The waiters were kind and the view of the bar is amazing. We were outside on the balcony. You have plenty of drinks to choose from on the card. We didnt taste the food though, but we will keep it for the next visit. Thanks!

Its a very nice place, incredible view. But we had to wait for almost 45 minutes to get a seat, somewhere around 11PM...!!There is a DJ with a very nice music and very kind staff.Maybe a little disappointment was that, there were not much choices as sides because kitchen closes after 10.30 PM..!! So we just got popcorns with our fancy drinks! ( :-| this part was very sad!

Nice experience at the SkyLounge. I was staying at the hotel and got a priority pass with a bearable short wait. Overall a nice experience. Would recommend there for a romantic evening night cap.

Great view! We came for drinks and it was a nice loungy experience. I would have made the cocktails a little stronger but otherwise ok!

For the first time in Amsterdam.Waiting at the entrance for exactly an hour.People coming in from the side bypass the entire queue.After an hour of waiting, we went upstairs to the restaurant half emptyWhen we entered the "waitress" place she turns out to be a manager.She came to us under pressure and behaved impatiently with us, and I will quote in her words"Order fast I have a lot of work to do"So we ordered fast.We were 10 people.Order full dishes,She from the step pressure to finish with us did not place the order properly.And in practice we got 4 servings.After we approached her to explain to her how logical it was, she also threw the responsibility on us.And threatened to throw us out.The place is beautiful, fun atmospherePoor service, terrible food waiting times!4 servings waited an hour!There is potential for the place, just an urgent improvement mistake and in my opinion the replacement manager because she is in charge of everything there

Long queues for the view, cocktails are not good for the location. Food is ok but serving is again terrible. Dirty plates, dirty floor and bar. Waitress let the cocktail fail but just give napkins to my gf. For such a place better have more quality people at work and knowing what to do. Again just the name nothing more. Prices are really to high for what u get…There are better cocktail bar with better food but without view 😎 This is how we get our sushi presented!!!

Restaurant on the 11th floor is characterized as high and you can see Amsterdam from the top. Most of the dishes are ordinary and the service is average, and I did not find it a special experience. I wish them more progress

We waited for around 30 minutes, to be seated in an half empty space… the drinks were overly sweet and nothing special. When we wanted to order some food, we were told it was not available. View is amazing and staff is friendly.

We enjoyed a great lunch and view in SkyLounge, the staff were really great and friendly.Don’t miss the brisket boa.Tip: You might need to reserve before going.

Chic rooftop bar with a nice panoramic view of Amsterdam. The bar is located on the 11th floor of Double Tree by Hilton. There was a big line up for the elevator when I went there (Saturday afternoon). They let people upstairs only when there is availability so, be ready for a long wait before you can go up on a busy day. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good cocktails.

Oh, where do I start! You wait an hour to get into an almost empty beautifully decorated huge bar on the top of the hotel and you are shocked - why, why the wait? Service is mediocre, food is not good and the cocktails are bad! The only good thing is the view and it’s amazing!This place is with such a great potential and such a poor management, that it’s sad!

You have to come here for dinner one night if you visit in the spring / summer time, 11 floors up so you get a lovely panarmic view of Amsterdam. The roof top terrace is gorgeous, got music on and the staff are super lovely, couldnt recommend it more

I had a great lunch on the rooftop, but when I pay my bill I was in shock about the price of the coffee!! € 8,00 for an ordinary latte!! That is overpriced, even the quality was not good.

You cannot book a table, so you have to wait in line (30 min in our case). But if you are not in a hurry, it is worth to go. Great view, the cocktails are very good (my recommendation: Crocodile), the food is good (keep in mind, it is more a bar and not a restaurant!). We had sushi, Nachos, some deep fried snacks. The service is excellent, very friendly and competent staff members. Would come back for sure!

We loved this experience We went after 3 to have the bites which are like tapas. There was a package of them for £22. The scenery from the outdoor terrace was lovely of the city. We booked as it is very popular.There was a DJ and the music was fab.

Finally I went there with my friend, visiting the city and what an awesome discovery!!!I could say that it wasn’t the best weather to go there, but i can say that it has sure one of the best skyline’s views of Amsterdam!!! 💥💥💥We really loved it: the location, the view, the interiors (as interior designer I am), the cocktails and food (51€ for everything)!I will definitely come back in summer, with a sunny day for more beautiful photos! 💋🤩

Location, view and ambiance is nice.But the hostes was rude and unprofessional.It was so close to leave the place because of her.The waiters was polite and nice.

I really loved everything about this place! Beautiful vibes + tasty drinks (I took a non-alcoholic drink called mango colada I think...im not sure of the name but it was very good+ amazing service (the waiters were super friendly). I highly recommend this place!! Its just beautiful!!😍😍

One of the coolest bars in Amsterdam. Great view, great cocktails, great staff. Nothing to complain about. If youre in the area and looking to get a drink, swing by. Prices around 17€ per cocktail, so not exactly cheap.

Beautiful view over Amsterdam. Would recommend to a friend, would suggest planning ahead as the lift up gets quite busy. Good for date night or special occasions

The views are amazing, you have a panorama view of the beautiful city ‘Amsterdam!’ The waitresses are super kind, I love the luxury feeling and looks of it.Also the food and beverages here are great! I ordered some nachos and have never eaten nachos this good! Can’t wait to be back!Overall; great food, great service and an amazing view! There’s no better way to have a bottle of wine, or one of them amazing cocktails! Little bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

A lovely place to chill, celebrate or just enjoy the little moments of life. With glass walls all over, the place offers breathtaking views over the city. The interior designs helps with creating an unforgettable experience with touches of gold all over the ceiling and lights and candles to create a great mood. The food was surprisingly very good, and the staff very friendly and considerate to our needs. They have a pretty resourceful bar and their Italian bartenders are willing to create any cocktails that you could think of. They don’t take appointments so unfortunately there is always a queue to get in. My advice is to go there pretty early so you can secure your spot. Loved the experience, definitely coming back to experience sunset from there.

Beautiful place for a view. I went there for a drink for sunset. Didn’t try food there but the popcorn was amazing. I thought it would be like one of those popular place in the touristy trap. Staff were happy and service was great. I would definitely go again if I visit Amsterdam next time.

Beautiful wrap-around views of Amsterdam-Centraal, yummy bites and drinks, a must-stop. Beware - the restaurant does NOT take reservations, so just show up and hope there isn’t a line. I went around 4:30-5:00 on a Friday and encountered no line.

This is a really nice place. Im glad we choose this place for my birthday dinner. Good vibe, great food, friendly staff and beautiful view of Amsterdam. Our waitress Sabine was very accomodating. Would definitely go back! Would definitely recommend! Was definitely worth the 1hr and 20min drive. Thanks again.
