Victoria Street West, Auckland CBD, Auckland 1010, New Zealand, Auckland
Landmark 60-story tower featuring panoramic views, bungee jumping & a high-end revolving restaurant.
Obviously a must visit place in Auckland. The view from top is breathtaking as you will be seeing whole city from top and lot of clouds. You might not want to miss the thrill you gent in that elevator of going upside watchin the city while going up.The experience was mind blowing and must do the sky walk there to get more thrilled by walking on the top of Auckland city.
Not as good as before COVID. Can feel the depression and quiet. There were decritive waterfall wall, music, crowd of people there before. Now even the casino is not as busy as before. Bars and cafés at the ground floor are empty. There even no sitting area for people to have a little rest. Lounge is dark today.
Loved the Sky Tower, it is great to see beautiful Auckland from the top.Nice Cafe and shops. Awesome staff. I highly recommend visiting Sky Tower.Taking bus or trains to get the city can save your time, as there are some constructions around, and you mightve trouble to find a parking.
Fabulous to the max. The manager welcomed us personally, engaged with us and made us feel at home. From that moment we knew that our entire experience would be perfect; it was!The service was professional and caring. The dinners were delicious in all respects. We will be back soon!
Absolutely loved this. What a thrill. Glass walkway super exciting, and terrifying. Great fun with the virtual photo. Stop and enjoy a coffee with a view. What a view.
Had a fantastic time! Can’t miss this when visiting auckland.Recommend to purchase the ticket online. And get validation for the parking ticket if using skycity parking place. $12 for all day 8am-8pm. Otherwise 16 dollor for an hour.
As a very new New Zealander, a visit to the Sky Tower was a must. I was very pleased with the family discount special running, as well as school holiday specials. The staff were very friendly, and the prices at the Sky Cafe were very reasonable. I definite must see.
Superb experience. You really enjoy the nice view of city from top.
Not exciting at all. I will prefer that some staffs can introduce little bit before we go, and give some good advise. They just check tickets and send you to the lift. then find everything yourself, I even don’t know there is sky deck, and found other visitors are same, went to level 51, then went down. Enough, not suggested, not fun at all if you have ever been on an airplane.
Great views over Auckland. It cost us $60 for two people to go up to the viewing deck. The cafe is decent and does a good range of ice cream, wines and cheeseboards amongst other things.
Its quite commercialized but offers great views of the city and surroundings. Multiple restaurants in the top, we only visited the café which was fine. Sky jump is unavailable due to technical upgrades, but Ive done it in the past and its a memorable experience!
Every skytower in every major city has always attracted visitors. This one is no exception. Youre rewarded with a splendid view over Auckland and its surroundings. If you want, you can also walk on the outside rim of the tower, hooked to a line. Definitely worth the visit when youre in the city!
Weve been here many times with our kids. The view never gets old. Such an awesome experience just having a clear 360 view of the city is just amazing. The staff are all very welcoming and very friendly. The elevators are spacious and very clean. A must visit when in Auckland.
A definite landmark to visit if youre in Auckland. The best view from up the tower which overlooks the entire city. Visiting hours to go up the tower are between 10 am - 5:30 pm. Last entry to go up the tower is at 5:30 pm.Worth a visit for sure.
After lots of cloud cover from late morning till ~2pm, there was lots of sun to capture some great pics. After waiting in queue for a few minutes, purchased a ticket, bypassed photo opportunity and headed to the first of 3 accessible levels, Level 51 - Main Observation Deck, followed by Level 60 - Sky Deck and then back to Lavel 51 and a quick walk down to Level 50 - Sky Cafe. Back up the stairs to Level 51 and headed back to ground level.Overall not too crowded and a great experience on each of the 3 levels.
Went up to the 58th floor for the bar called Sugar Club. Excellent service. Great range of alcolic drinks. Nice food selection for meat eaters. Not a good range for vegetarians. Amazing views of course.
It is great place to take the kids on a weekend so you dont get any Im bored out of them.
the most beautiful view in the whole city. incredibly magical
Great scenic views of Auckland city and the surrounding areas
LOVED IT. the food and drinks were amazing. people may say it’s pricey but you pay for quality. The waiters are extremely nice and friendly. The view is beautiful. Best view you can get of Auckland. our waiter is called ‘hui’ she is so nice and super friendly. If I was to come again which I will I hope she is my waiter.
The views although overcast, were spectacular! Worth it. If you’re afraid of heights it my not be your thing. The cafe has great coffee.
Definately a highlight of auckland, the staff were great and knowledgeable, the website and qr coding was handy, elevators definately not for the faint hearted to look down as your going up, keep up the good work
Awesome views always enjoy coming here
Beautiful view and excellent food. Service was good and the whole experience was definitely worth every cent. Highly recommend!
The Sky Tower is a telecommunications and observation tower in Auckland, New Zealand. Located at the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets within the citys CBD, it is 328 metres (1,076 fttall, as measured from ground level to the top of the mast, making it the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere and the 28th tallest tower in the world. It has become an iconic landmark in Aucklands skyline due to its height and design.I have being there only once and the view was magical. 🤩
Still a great place to take the kids if they like standing on pieces of glass. It cost 75 bucks for two adults and a 6 year old. We splashed out at the cafe and spent 65 dollars. Service was good considering how busy they were and the food was good.
Honestly I cant thank the staff enough. They were truly amazing. From the front desk to jumping off the Tower. The service was exceptional! Felt very comfortable and confident in the two staff members in charge of our jump. Even upon landing was well cared for. Thank you! I highly recommend the experience.
Time to bring the next generation through this bucket list thing to do while in Auckland. Good to see everything in reasonable shape and clean. Weather cooperated compared to yesterday when we watched the clouds cover half the Sky Tower for most of the day. Not keen enough to do the bungy but happy enough to watch others take the plunge. Has to be one of the safest adrenaline rushes in this area that doesnt involve getting arrested :)
Have been here many times. It is the iconic structure of Auckland. It’s part of the Skyline of Auckland City. Spectacular views from the top.
One of the best places to get a good view of Auckland , go on a weekday to get in without a hassle, you can get discounted tickets from various online coupon providers.
We arrived almost closing time, but its good that pretty friendly Sarah the receptionist with blonde hair accommodated us. We enjoyed much, my goodness, the glass floor was intense! Took a little while to gain the courage. Walking outside on the deck was a lot of fun, crazy wind up there. Overall, tons of great pics and definitely worth the money!
Stunning views of Auckland in a restaurant that rotates slowly around providing you with a panoramic snapshot of this part of NZ. Decent for a business meeting or a special date. The food was good, not great, and the prices were a little high. They only have a fixed menu to select from...
The icon of Auckland City. The name represents the structure. You can go to the top and have a splendid view of Auckland City. Day or Night has its own charm. At night the tower is decorated with mesmerizing ambient lights. Fine dining restaurants are available at the top, and the restaurant floor is rotating while you enjoy your meal, spoiling you with 360 bird views of Auckland City. Not only that, on the top, I mean the real top, you can challenge yourself for a 360 walk around the tower lips or even perform the sky jump to the ground. Not enough? Theres a Casino right beside the tower entry for adults.
It gives a charm to the city, and light shines from everywhere.Loved it seeing from the top
Goes without saying please Visit this!!! Absolutely stunning panoramic view of the whole city and beyond! What we Absolutely loved was that on the windows they have described what we are seeing and the meaning behind it. The staff is so courteous and they even have clear window panes to look underneath. We made a reservation but when we got there the lines were minimal (Im sure because of covidyou can also dine there but definitely need reservation for that!
Tallest building in New Zealand located in Auckland CBD. A Must when in Auckland. We enjoyed the view, the lift and revolving window. My children stayed for a while to get the glimpse of the city. Not too pricey, just reasonable. There is an option to buy combo to visit another attraction. My grandchildren loved it more staying on top. Highly recommended 👍
Nice weather today. Kids enjoy watching people jumping from level 51.
The tallest building in NZ, and a must see when visiting Auckland. We took 2 kids with us around 430pm and stayed until it was dark. Unfortunately the revolving reasturant was not open for dinner, that would have been amazing. If you park underground on site the staff will clip your ticket to make the parking rate alot cheaper. Lovely and stunning full 360 degree views and we visited 2 levels.
Used our free $100 Auckland voucher today which included $25 free gift card for the gift shop. The front counter person didnt mention anything about it, it wasnt a big deal though. All the staff mbrs we came into contact with were friendly. My kids enjoyed it. It was busy, but not over crowded. Worth the freebie, however I forgot to validate my parking n since we were there all up less than 1h10mins my parking was casual rate of $24 😢😢 will return in the near future
Experience Auckland city from floor 53. Great views of the city all around. There is also a coffee shop and restaurant. Novelty shop on ground floor and plenty of photo opportunities.
Went to the sugar club for a birthday drink. Totally worth it for the amazing views on a stunning day in Auckland!
What an experience! Havent visited the tower since primary school and the views were amazing. Also bought a souvenir from the gift shop downstairs as it was 50% off storewide.
Loved it so much up there probably the 10th time ive been up. Always so much to look at i could be up there for hours!
Do something new New Zealand! Courtesy of Tamaki Makaurau, we thank you! Supporting our locals. Quite a thrilling experience! Our fear of heights were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and greetings of the awesome staff. Incredible views of Auckland!
Spectacular views, entry was included with our reservation at the Orbit Restaurant so that‘s a bonus! Really cool to see the city from above, some sections have glass floors (makes you realize just HOW high up you are!).A must do when you‘re in Auckland!
Very nice place in the city. Great for wide panorama view but also for some refreshments. Yeah, its a bit pricy but these places around the whole world are like that. So even a cup of good coffee is worthy here because the view around is just different as from the other places in Auckland. If you are willing to spend more time and money as well then you will never regret it cuz the food is also awesome.
This iconic tower is located in the centre of Auckland city. You get to experience stunning panoramic views of the city and the north shore over the harbour bridge. Impressive lifts took us up and down in a flash. You have the option to do bungee jumping but I preferred to watch others. Great atmosphere and an experience. There is a souvenir/gift shop on the ground floor to purchase items. Highly recommend paying a visit.
Beautiful one in the middle of Auckland city. You can do Bunge Jumping from here and during New Year eve, this is a place for firework. It is a great landmark! The view at night from the waterfront is also incredible.
Located in the center of Auckland city. You get to experience stunning views of the city. Panoramic views of the city and the north shore over the harbour bridge. If you need something adventures or experience some thrill, you can go on bungee jumping. There are plenty of cafes and entertainment around the sky tower. Love the lighting decors during the night. I recommend everyone to get up there and enjoy the views if you are around the area.
Beautiful day and awesome views. Only one staff processing entry tickets on a Saturday morning which made the wait lengthy. More staff needed in gift shop as had to queue in entry line to pay for souvenirs with people queued for entry.
