Skully's in Bocas del Toro

This place is wonderful, it feels like being in your own home, I like that they allow pets because they are like our own family, the atmosphere is very warm, the rooms are always very clean, the workers are very friendly, it has a beautiful view, the beach is just steps from the house, I definitely recommend this place one hundred percent

Nice place to hang out. We were there on a Wednesday, bingo night for Gringo’s 🇺🇸. Good staff. Got a free shot of rum 🥃 to welcome us.

This was our first time visiting. The staff was incredibly friendly. I had my children with me and we were provided rules for the pool use. We played ping pong while the live band played perfect beachy music. Get your taxi drivers whatsapp on the way there so you can call them when youre ready to leave.

I spent a whole day grazing yummy foods and great cocktails.

Best happy hour. Social people everywhere. Very attentive staff. First place on the island that made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend! Pretty view, cant go wrong!

Great ambient music, sweet view and a great overall feeling...Bought a pirate burger and another I dont remember the name anymore, they were dry, chips were great....Service was meh, slow day, and it took a while to get some attention, when i finally got the billing of 40.80 from 1 piña colada 2 hamburgers and 2 pineapple juice, i told the woman to charge for 45 and that it would include the tip, she overchagerded me and gave me 14.2 (out of 3x20 bills)...That aside amazing place, location, and vibes will definitely go back and try my luck to see if i update to 4 or even 5 stars

What a welcoming friendly atmosphere. We rented 4 wheelers for the day and what an awesome experience for my family. The trails are fun and riding along the ocean is just beautiful. We then stayed and ate dinner which the selection if food was huge and all of what we ordered was delicious. I would recommend if you are in Bocas definitely checking Skullys out it an experience no nowhere else!

Super easy place to stay for a week. I found it an awesome vibe to rest up from my travelling around.

This place is amazing! Right in front of the beach! People working there are very welcoming. The dorms look like pirate boat, very clean and comfy! Hope coming back in this amazing place !

Probably the most unique spot in Bocas! Can’t beat the bar, pool and beach all within ten feet from each other. The staff is super friendly and the food is better than most spots…try the pizza! Not to mention they have brand new pool tables and a workout station. Great spot for backpackers as well as long-term stays. Co-living and private rooms at affordable prices. Wifi works great. I came here almost everyday during my stay to eat breakfast, catch up on work or grab a drink with dinner. 5 starts all the way

Great place to stay and eat. The hotel rooms were perfect and opened right to the beach and you can tell care was taken while selecting the furnishings. Best bed I slept on in the 3 weeks we were down there.

We went there from 9am-7pm we had a great day. Rented the atv’s for the day and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stoped back for dinner and to use the pool, which was perfect. Food was delicious and bartenders and waitresses super kind. 10/10 on the wings!! They have great amenities and many games to play, we especially enjoyed the ping pong. Beautiful place. The owners were also super kind and welcoming

Great people, great location. Got a little gym for those of us who need a bit of a HITT, lift. Perfect for a get out of downtown Bocas, but still need community. Skullys has it all. Steve, the owner is an amazing guy! Much appreciated your help, support and friendship!

Great spot for drinks and snacks. Great staff, amazing views and good music. Got the cheese fries (may not recommendand Pollo tacos. Good drinks, bring a swimsuit.... enjoy Bocas.

This place has an amazing view but I did get food poisoning from this establishment and I highly recommend not eating there food if you want to enjoy your vacation

Stopped by Skully’s for lunch and a few drinks. Amazing bar, friendly service, great cocktails, cold beers, great food, great vibes… all with an excellent view.

Really loved our stay there. The staff is so nice and welcoming. It’s located by the beach and has a really nice and big chilling area. There are two kitchens which are well equipped and big so there is enough space for everyone. The dorms are also really nice with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend it and stay at your hostel again :)

we really enjoyed staying at the skullys house. The staff was very welcoming and from the beginning we felt comfortable. The hostel has a big area where you can chill and enjoy the day. Because of the two kitchen you have a lot of space to cook without distracting others. You can enjoy your meal while looking at the sea. That’s amazing.We would definitely come and stay at your hostel again:)

Everything was perfect, the location right at the beachfront waking up to the sound of waves, the accomodation fresh and comfortable, functional, tidy and clean, fully equipped kitchen, fitness/weight training area, swimmingpool and bararea with regualary events going on, pooltable, the restaurant, and the friendly staff, all in all made me extend my initial 3 nights to 3 weeks. Defenitely a place to revisit.

We enjoyed our day! Ping pong, drinking, lounging and a little snorkeling! Pizza and nachos were good too! Very laid back atmosphere!

Stopped off here for our last lunch before heading home. Loved it. Gutted we didn’t visit it before as we’d have definitely been back for more! Great vibe, excellent food, had a good chat with the main man Skully, a real character. All the staff were very friendly and setting right on the beach is awesome. Well worth a visit.

Love the place very pirate feel, small nice beach and a pool. Yes the pool is due for some renovation but it s great to have

This place is very friendly and accommodating. We had a beachfront private room with its own bathroom and mini-fridge which was perfect. Having the quad rentals at the same location was the icing on the cake. Everything was affordable and convenient, I highly recommend this location for your stay.

Super fun place with great bartenders and very creative atmosphere! We were staying up the road at Hotel Playa Tortuga which is nice but boring. We discovered Skullys and went there two of our three nights! A bit out of the way but worth the trip.

Skullies house was an awesome stay!Very comfortable room, great WiFi connection for working, warm shower and air conditioning right in front of the waves. Couldn’t ask for more! Great vibes and drinks at the bar too!

Great hostel!The vibes there are super positive, both staff and clients are very friendly.The bar is very very cool with direct access to the beach. The food is good too. The area is quiet and chill.I love the architecture of the hostel, a lot of good sense, simple, clean, efficient, very comfortable!

Expensive, super slow, some of the plates were cold and other extremely hot. Please go to Coralinas / punch beach club for a better service and price.Response to the owner: Haha nice response! I prefer to pay 6 bucks a beer with hot food and appetizers at the start of my dinner, instead of receiving a cold burger and some patacones an hour later as dessert. Really bad food service.But I will change my fake review to:If you want a beer go to Skullys, if you want food go to Coralinas. But dont drink beer there, its expensive.

Didnt stay there but had some drinks. The location is really nice, right at the beach and a lot of space.Staff were all super friendly and helpful and I was a bit sad I didnt stay in the hostel 🥲

Super cool restaurant & bar at the seafront. We enjoyed lunch there very much! It’s like you become a pirate, enjoying your lunch and drink. There is a small shop inside as well and there’s a pool. We really have loved spending more time there.

What a Great place! First we passed by and had a drink (a real cold Beer!at the big open bar at the seaside, with daybeds, hammocks, a pool and all kinds of things to do (games, pingpong, workout ,, etcand the gorgeous view you can easily stay all day!So ..we came back and booked a room for a week. Great place, Great People, Great Staff! ! Hard to leave.....Thanks ALL!!

Nice place with sun beds to relax, 10 minutes drive from down town by taxi. Food is fine, a bit simple though. However it takes more than a hour to arrive, therefore only 3 stars. Cocktails are OK, little expensive.

Located quite far out of town but definitely worth the drive. Directly on a really nice beach, a lot of space to chill out. The staff was not always that nice and helpful. Also there was a Lot of construction work, which made hanging out in the kitchen area during daytime impossible.

Wonderful time here! The bartenders and waitstaff are friendly and efficient— by far the best service in Bocas. The owner is very welcoming and made me and my husband feel at home. This place is unique because you could go alone, with a date, or with children and have a fabulous time. I didn’t even mention the beautiful beach atmosphere and fun activities provided daily. This place is a WOW. Big time.

The beach is beautiful the vibe is cool and the staff is nice!We had a wonderful time!I highly recommend the pirate pizza and the nachos with beef!Just come there and chill 😉

We spent the afternoon riding the four wheelers for a couple of hours. It was amazing and so much fun, the view was also beautiful. You can ride them all throughout the jungle and down the coast lines. It’s priced well and the owner is so kind and really cares about his customers. I would recommend this for anyone who loves a good adventure or a good time!

What a wonderful place! We had a great lunch and the drinks were fabulous. We took a cab from Bocas and stopped her for lunch. We met Ana and Cocoa and Scully the pirate himself!!!! We rented ATV’s for the first time ever and they did a great job showing us how to drive. We drove down to Bluff beach and had a wonderful time relaxing. What a beautiful Panamanian island retreat! Loved it!!!!

My wife and I are staying just down the road for the week.. Contrary to what 74sparta has to say, this place is awesome! The staff is fantastic and works really hard to give the customers a great experience! Its a really fun atmosphere, we never had to wait for drinks and the food is great! Ana, Ceci, German, and Maybis are all fantastic behind the bar and Ricardo was super helpful when we rented our e-bikes. We arent locals but this quickly became our local joint! We love it!

Had an awesome time while staying here. We came for drinks our first night in Bocas, and ended up cancelling our other lodging to spend the rest of the weekend here. Steve, Rhonda, and the whole staff were super nice and fun to talk with. Defiantly book!!

Great food and drinks! Beautiful open area to under tall palms on white sand. There are swing chairs where you can dip your feet in ocean waters. A small pool is adjacent to the bar area. Best burger in town, easy access.
