Great place to visit with friends or your dog. Added bonus of being able to learn a bit more about Bulgarian history and culture for free!

Nice park

The park is close to Pleven and the Panorama, 10 minutes by car and public transport. A nice place to walk, with several follies and statues. At the far end a couple of resovoirs feed into the park.

Skobelev Park is located exactly where the battlefield was - slightly south of the city of Pleven. While walking among the rich greenery you can see battle relics, many monuments and mounds. A beautiful place full of life.

Great place for a walk, there you can feel part of the Bulgarian history. When youre there for sure visit the Panorama- exhibition about the liberty of Bulgaria, lots of painting, interesting items and panoramic view of the battlefield of Pleven.

Very calm and peaceful place for a walk in the afternoon away from the summer heat.

The Skobelev Park is a nice place to visit in any of the four seasons to have a nice walk and maybe for taking some nature photos. During the summer it is a cool place in contrast to the hot Bulgarian weather because of its big trees that provide some shade.

A romantic, clean park where dogs are allowed. There is plenty of places to walk around, you can also visit the two lakes at the end of the park. Love it

Its not good for small dogs, there is nowhere to eat or buy food.

An interesting memorial to the war of independence with the Turks. A pivotal battle was won by the Bulgarians on this hill.
