Friendly place, but I think the website could use some updating. We were under the impression the pool would be open for our little one, as same wasn’t stated on the website. Room was a good size, but a bit on the dirty side - could have been cleaned a bit better. There was some noticeable dirt on the bedding, both on top and the underside, food left behind in the microwave, cobwebs in the window. No screen on our bedroom window to keep bugs out. All in all, I’d say the place could use some upgrades and a deeper clean in-between clients.

One of the best motels ever stayed. Well dressed and clean beds, clean washrooms and as a whole very clean and nicely arranged rooms are really attractive. Appreciate the work done by Cherry and Emily who manage the place. Highly recommend

Place could use some work. Did you hear the pipes rattling in the walls at night when the neighbor flushed his toilet dont know what that was about but Im sure they will figure it out and fix it soon

Not the most modern of places, but its clean and a nice place to stay.

Great for the price. Last minute availability was nice. I left my phone charger in my room and went back a week later to see if they had it, and they had kept it safe for me.

Rooms were great size, with lots of space but a bit dirty. Pool was closed for some reason, but still advertised.Decent for price and location.

Good clean basic room, stayed just one night but the family was very happy with our suite. Kitchenette, two tvs, sleeps 4, Pet friendly.

Very nice place to stay

The absolute best motel Ive ever stayed in. Emily is an amazing manager and helps when ever I needed. The rooms were large and very well kept. Huge backyard with horseshoes, a fire pit, a BBQ shack with BBQs and some friendly goats. Would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Creston.

Firepit BBQ area horseshoes location comfort are a 5 but perfumed bedding almost ruined it

Had an excellent stay here great value and tons of space out back for dog to run also there is horse shoe pit covered bbq picnic area and even a fire pit to enjoy.

Rooms were very clean, amenities were ok. Emily and her staff were the most welcoming I’ve ever experienced from a motel. Back yard was snowy but very well kept.Definitely coming back!

The front desk was attended by a snarky little brat with a horrible attitude. We didnt stay.

The stay was okay but they charged my credit card 100$ after I left without contacting me first , for smoking inside the room when I sure never did. Management is not right. Pass...

Place is a dive. Floor rugs and room was extremely filthy. Cob webs in the lamps, clock radio not working. Pictutes on the webpage looked much better than what I actually seen when arriving their.I am rating this excuse of a motel 0 out of 5.

Really friendly staff, our room had great amenities, and the back is a fully fenced area which was great for the dog to get the exercise she needed while we were passing through town.

Room was clean. Coffee was decent given only coffee whitener was available. Bathroom light was not working well. Parking lot is tight if you have a big vehicle or trailer.

We have stayed here many times, and will continue to do so. They have a very professional and competent staff. Rooms are slightly dated, but so is the hotel. We love it.

I love the old style of this place. Super clean. And very comfortable beds. Amazing price for the stay. And very nice staff. Will definitely be staying here again.

The manager was awesome and couldnt ask for better service will be back there for a night or 2 again in August when picking up another car

Not maintained very well.. the pool is not open- rather bad for such a hot area. Generally it is run down, the owners are not maintaining the property. Avoid this place. Kudos to the young lady at the front desk. She is giving it her best effort even though the owners are not putting $$ into it.

Absolutely loved it! Such a cute little Inn.Stayed one night, room was super clean and so we reserved another night on our way back from Vancouver.Will likely be back!Great customer service and the room was nice and clean. Very very impressed.I am slightly obsessed with Creston now.

We were scouring the area for a pet-friendly motel that would be willing to accomodate our 1:00AM arrival, and the Skimmerhorn delivered! Emily was very kind and courteous (even in the middle of the night!and provided us with an incredibly clean and spacious room for an unbeatable rate! The amenities here and fantastic as well!! There is a HUGE fenced-in area to take your poochie to explore, as well as horseshoe pits, BBQ Pits, Fire Pits and a lovely sand pit for the kids to play in! All in all, youd be doing yourself a disservice if you drive past the Skimmerhorn Inn! Thank you to everyone who keeps this place running so

Clean. Beds old not the best and not very soundproof. Slept well enough and very friendly staff

The owners are awesome people and, and and the shower is to die for! Best shower we have ever had! Also great dog run, BBQ area and location!

Room was clean, staff were friendly and polite. Pricing seems a touch high for amenities offered. No screens on windows so unable to open for fresh air without inviting in insects. Bed was extremely firm with very thin pillows. Would stay again if the pool opens.

Pretty good little hotel. If you’re looking for a quick late night stay with a family this will get the job done. Great little kitchenette’s. Bedding could have been a little nicer but still overall a cozy little stay

Very clean room. Newer bathroom reno. Gave it 5 stars because of the fact we could get 3 beds and two bedrooms. This is perfect for a larger family or one like us with 6 ft+ boys who need more space, without a huge cost. The check in people were nice and friendly. We will be back, Creston is a great place to visit. Lots of little fruit markets and the scenery is beautiful.

Most definitely not the fanciest of places, needs updating, ants in the room, terrible bed. But it did come with a full size coffee maker, strong water pressure and hot hot hot water! If you are looking for a place to rest your head for a afordable price this is it!

We had an absolutely great time! Rooms were clean, staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved the horse shoe pit, as well as the fire pit. If youre coming with a large group like we did these guys will make your stay the best it can be!!

We chose this hotel to stay at during our swim meet in Creston. The staff was amazingly friendly and the room we chose was spacious and very clean. It appears that the bathroom may have been recently remodeled and had a very large and modernly contoured bathtub/shower combo. When visiting Creston in the future, I would not hesitate to book with Skimmerhorn Inn again!

Stay was really good. Price is right and really has a homely feel. Area was super quiet, we didnt hear any door slamming or loud vehicles all night. Room was decently clean, we did find the shower curtain was stinky. Other than that owners are friendly, nice off leash area out back, and playground. Will be back if we go through again.

Love staying here. Affordable rates and very convenient having kitchenette. Some rooms could use a couple updates but thats understandable with an older place. The green space out back is awesome for the kids to run around while you bbq supper. Always people relaxing outside with some drinks.

My family did not like our stay at the Skimmerhorn Inn. No feeling of value at all. We were assured pool would be open at time of booking. Pool was not open... not even close to open... it looked disgusting and in need of major repair. Rude biker working at front desk to top it off. Will not return.

We only spent one night on Christmas eve, but we were so glad we chose the Skimmerhorn!! Family run, friendly, helpful, <br/>clean, quiet, quaint, comfy beds, very accommodating for our special needs, upgraded room because they had a better suite for us for the same price...and so affordable!! Best price in the AREA!! Definitely, highly recommended!! 5/5 Thanks, Skimmerhorn!!

Tyler and his crew were fantastic. He was so accommodating, we stayed there with our team, it was perfect. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!! Thank you so much for a great stay.

What a great place to stay! Budget friendly with everything. Decent sleep, quiet room, ac, a yard for my dog and kid to play, free breakfast, Ill definitely be back and will recommend!

I am giving this Motel 5 stars as I honestly thought they were quite comparable to 3 star hotels. It was clean. The service was friendly. Just dont expect too much of the included breakfast.

This place needs to be remodeled and managed properly. After requesting a room for 3 nights for us with the possible option to stay for 5 and paying in cash, I was charged an extra night on my credit card for a room I did not use. Attempts to resolve it with the manager lead nowhere so I will let my credit card company settle it. Place has bugs. Last day we were there the police arrived to escort a messed up person from the property. A I would have to be at the end of a rope to stay in this place again. Do not recommend.

Very clean, and well maintained room. Wifi access is free, but dont count on it working. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We had children with us, and were well taken care of. Water was hot with great water pressure in the shower. Beds are a little hard for my personal liking, but I like soft beds. Overall great experience!

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally nice. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They certainly dont price gouge you here. There is a pool and also a picnic area in the back that makes it more of a family friendly place. I had a great sleep after driving in from Calgary. Ill be staying here the next time that I find myself in Creston. They called immediatley after I left to inform me that I had forgotten my passport and credit card in my room.

Stayed only one night. Booked a two bedroom suite and very impressed. Plenty of room , kitchen, sitting area king bed + two separate beds. Clean and good rates. Would come back again .

The pool was really dirty. Sand and dirt piled in corners and bugs floating in the water. The rooms were outdated for the price and the front clerk was out of this world rude, upon checkout. The open sign was on at the front desk at 7:30. I pulled on the door and it was locked. She looked at me with a dirty look. I pulled on it again. She rolled her eyes at me and came to open the door and leaned out and said "what!!" I said we need to check out so she shrugged her shoulders and said "yeah and..." Very rudely. So we said we have a deposit. She said "well I wouldnt know that" in an even ruder additude. She only toned down when I said she didnt need to have such a bad additude. Will never stay there again.

Its a very clean cute place all the extra amenities that you would like and the owners are absolutely fabulous people I wish all the motels and hotels that we have stayed at on our trip whereas nice and make you feel at home as this place does I will definitely stay again

Wow...where do I start. We absolutely love this place. Terry and Shelly are super great people willing to help anyone with anything. Its so super clean I was totally shocked the very 1st time there. We were so impressed we had our Wedding there last August. Filled up 21 out of the 24 rooms there. We go there 3 or 4 times a year.

Great service. Older room but adequate. Worth staying in. No credit card needed. Great continental breakfast. Heated pool. Definitely would come back through here..
