Sixty Sixty Resort in Miami Beach

This hotel lies on their website. There is no pool inside (you must go to an hotel across the street). Three guys tried Open my door one nigth. There is no se security guards. The phone at room was unavailable. I ll never back.

Been here 2 weeks before. Give it 4 star for the price / location. No, this is not Hilton. If you want something better pay 100 more pr night. If you want something better for same price then go Hoolywood beach.

They did not inform us of NO HOUSEKEEPING service. There was a cold front and there wasnt any heater is in the room - the AC unit did not work. the maintenance man, who was sent to help us, didnt speak English and gave lied about the air conditioning and heater being controlled by water. This is very hilarious since we came to discover that it was a complete lie. The bathroom toilet was leaking as well. I would not recommend staying at this place. Horrible customer service as well, very typical of Miami and Miami Beach in general.

The resort is nice. Not the greatest, but you get what you paid for and Im not mad at all. I really wish the resort was easier to identify amongst other buildings as well as the entrance to the resort. The parking situation is not ideal. Not a whole lot of spots. The room was nice. It had a small kitchen and a dining area. Bonus, the top level has 2 great sitting/relaxing areas.There is no bartender but you can bring your own booze and act like your own bartender lol The water pressure in the shower is the worst!!! Were they trying to make a shower or sprinkling system??

I loved my stay here. My only thing is parking was advertised as free and in Miami that’s not something to mistake lol. Parking isn’t free but is $20 a day which is cheaper than most hotels in the area. Got a water view room that was amazing !

Not clean, bed make loud noise so does the AC.Will never come back and will not recommend to anyone

Nice resort in a good position not so far from the city centre. Our room was fine, with a nice point of view. Little swimming pool at the pool deck. Private beach. Average continental breakfast.

Mostly paying for the Great location, between the beautiful bay and the beach. The free trolley (CollinsExpressruns every 10 min right in front of the hotel which transports North and South Beach. Decent patio overlook but hotel furniture and amenities are out dated. The Jacuzzi works sometimes. Had to call maintenance a few times to fix things. Very few outlets available in the rooms. Overall nice visit in an outdated Hotel.

Although fairly clean, it was nor well maintained. On a cool night the heat didnt work at all and they didnt offer a room change at all.Definitely understaffed, had to pay $30 a day for valet parking and on 2 evenings I had to park myself because no valet was on duty. When I asked for my $60 back, they simply refused. If Im being charged $30 a day, why should i park my own car?The ice machines were only on two floors, and one of them was in a closet that was so full of lawn furniture that you have to walk in sideways to get to the ice machine.Upon checkout, when I made mention of the lack of heat, the desk clerk insisted that there was no heat to be repaired. I informed him that I saw the furnace/AC in the closet with my own eyes, (while their maintenance guy tried to fix ityet he still insisted that it did not exist.This place is in a decent location but is poorly staffed, poorly maintained and pretty run down.

Rooms are spacious and the bed is comfy. The view is very nice and the price is reasonable for what you get.

Ok hotel,ok rooms but four weeks after returning home im still suffering with a back and shoulder twinge from the awful bed. The guy on reception is one miserable s o b!

Dirty towels, with hairs and pubians hair. Hall smelling fresh oil painting, terrible. Safe not working, without battery. One of the guys at the entrance, with all-time bad mood.

I would not recommend this hotel. Although the location was convenient - it is not worth the price. First, the staff is not very welcoming or friendly. The valet staff take a very long time to get the cars and are not friendly at all.An $18 resort fee was added even though we are not at the sister hotel that actually has the resort (we were not notified of this fee before booking the hotel).The hotel room was okay. It had comfy beds but a very small bathroom. We spent 10 minutes trying to get the hot water working in the shower. Turns out if you want hot water, you have to turn it to cold. That was extremely irritating after a long flight. There was no counter space in the bathroom which made it a bit difficult to get ready.Overall, I did not have a great experience and will not be coming back.

Stayed here in 2017, Wonderful beautique hotel on the canal, 2 blocks from the ocean, centrally located makes it convenient for the trolley & bus. Rooms we clean, upgraded, staff was accommodating. View was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend it. 2018 Stayed at sister hotel (Casablancaon the ocean front & definitely like this one better.

The hotel front desk staff were nice during the check-in process. We get to our room and immediately notice the stained dark green carpet. We didnt complain. Tried using the bathroom toilet to discover it didnt flush, after trying to reach the front desk, 20 minutes later maintenance came with a plunger and said the toilet is fine you have to hold the handle down the entire time while the toilet is working for it to go down. WHAT?? OK next, we headed to the beach come back ready to shower.... NO HOT WATER! Tried calling the front desk, got transferred around for 15 minutes now, maintenance showed up 20 minutes after that. When he entered our room he didnt say anything. No hello, sorry for these inconveniences, just nothing. So he turns the water on and says "if you want hot water, put the handle on cold, if you want cold water put the handle on hot. I asked if theyre going through a remodel because the carpet was pieced together. He laughed and walk out2 stars because the beds were clean and comfy, and the hotel is convenient

Had many positives location being one of them, staff is hit and miss. They were doing construction in both rooms next to us. No self parking, have to pay the hotel.

Horrible experience!! Do not stay here!!I purchased two nights at this hotel with two queen beds. Upon arrival, the supervisor Luis informed me that the room I purchased was not available and that the only room available was smaller and had only one bed in it. Not sure how they can just give my room away with no notification but whatever, I agreed to take the room, but only if the rate would be discounted since the room available was not the room I purchased initially. The supervisor informed me that there was nothing that they could do, he stated this sort of thing happens all the time and we either had to take the smaller room at the SAME price or he was adimate about just cancelling my reservation altogether and have me to look for another room. UNPROFESSIONAL!! How do you tell a customer to “find somewhere else to stay” when it’s the company who made the mistake? I thought businesses were in to MAKE money not give it away! So after a long fought battle with kayak customer service, they were able to contact the hote and I was finally able to get the room discounted. The manager Louis was in NO way hospitable and furthermore gave your hotel a bad name. I can say with a clear conscience that I will never stay at any hotel affiliated with the Sixty Six resort and I will be sure to spread the word as well. This stay at your residence was an experience I never want to have again. Horrible!!

We booked with Sixty Sixty and the hotel was full and the moved is toThe Casablanca the sister hotel without notifying us. That’s not how u treat ur customers with reservations and they don’t answer their phone at all. You have to call 4/5 times . I won’t stay here and The Casablanca hotel .please please don’t stay there .. it’s nasty n dirtyanswer

DO NOT BOOK !!! Very unprofessional we had reservations there we called them 5 minutes before we got to the hotel they said they switched to their sister hotel which is around the corner its called Casablanca Hotel DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!!! This hotel is the worst hotel Ive ever seen we went to the hotel stay 30 minutes and left the hotel we ended up sleeping in our car for the first night the room is filthy the lobby is filthy the hallways are filthy look like the floor hasnt been vacuumed in months they have random people walking around in the lobby they look kind of shady if you ask me the only reason why I gave I gave them stars is so I can write this review I really give them 0 stars do not come here. So we called 66 resort to get a refund they denied us we bought it through we always stayed 30 minutes at the Casablanca before we left and slept out in the car good way to start a vacation

You get what yoh pay for. Its not bad and not good either. Room is small. Tile floors need to be deep cleaned. The drapery has holes in it. The AC makes this loud crash sound when its cycling off. I have to use a physical key to own the doors. This is a new experience for me. Elevators are in dire need of a overhaul. Hotel staff was nice though.

The staff were super nice but the resort is kinda old and they didnt do the best job cleaning the room.

They charge suprise fees AFTER you have already paid for your reservation and wont time you the key until you pay extra. There were also stains on my sheets and carpet.

Low rates, so keep your expectations low. The place isnt fancy and it is a couple of blocks from the beach. It is partnered with the Casablanca hotel, so you have access to the beach and amenities of Casablanca, which is nicer. It is centric, and close to many restaurants, so it is convenient. The people in charge are nice and the area is also nice. Not fancy but at least youre not paying an arm and a leg. The pool has warm water and is clean, but simple.

It’s a 2 star hotel, not 3! We came in January and outside was very cold, like 12 degree, and the heating system wasn’t working, no hot water, we had to change the room to have at least hot water!Too bad the hotel have a very good position in the middle of Miami Beach and very close to the beach!In the pictures you can see what a great view have this hotel!

Love the concept of this hotel. We stay January 6-10, 2018. The staff was fantastic and so was the food. The downside was the floor in the rooms were filthy, I dont think they wash them since all of our feet were black every day. The beds and pillows are horrible, far to soft with no support. Multiple time we ran out of hot water to shower with. Our air conditioner worked wonderful however the party we were with their ac broken down and were without for 2 days.

We were on the 15 FL great view. Pool was a little dirty, but it was very nice.

Great view! But the front end staff were not very helpful. The room was in need of serious cleaning. Carpet is very old and fithy. Our 1:45 a.m. wake-up call never happened, so we risked missing our plane. Nobody seemed to care.....

Great location with good view is all youre getting. Unfriendly service, no gym, no spa, no working phone and cheap toiletries. Yet they charge a resort fee. Total scam!

6060 is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you want to come to a smile and friendly faces youve come to the wrong place you will get cheated like you live in a third world country. I had four nights with cold water and Loud pipe noises my wife and I couldnt sleep. They over charge for parking youre better off paying for public parking. The location is great but the hotel is just horrible a negative star if it was possible. I was served by the worst people that I have ever dealt with. And thanks for the misinformation from one of the front desk I have to stay in the streets for 2 days now so thank you 6060 for the terrible services and the loud noise is coming from my bathroom. I would only recommend this hotel if it was free.

Worst experience Ive ever had my entire life. I regret the day I stepped foot in this hotel. The disrespect was unreal from the so called management, the elevator didnt work and no ground level rooms exist which is horrible for persons with physical disabilities. This place is horrible. Barley none of the staff speaks english and its dirty. The pool and Jacuzzi area is filthy. Looks like they hadnt cleaned it in about 6 months or more. The hallway and elevators are run down and old. The nicest part about the hotel is the lobby and the terrance because if the view. The room I stayed in had a messed up toilet. Housekeeping dont come until the afternoon and they dont even clean good. They didnt change the sheets, they just pulled them back up and fixed the pillows back. When they changed the sheets (after complainingit was a dead cockroach under the bed skirt. The worst part was that it had bed bugs and I got bit. Switched rooms and the room looked like a crime scene. It had a large stain on the carpet and it smelled like mold. Switched rooms again and that room also had bed bugs my cousin got bit that time.They actually had the nerve to say that this was the first time ever of hearing of a bed bug complaint. Really?... thats impossible when they had them in two different rooms located on different floors. I think the hotel is infested with them. They need to shut down and properly exterminate and renovate. Fire their whole staff and get some better workers. We immediately checked out in the morning. The worst hotel ever in my 30 years of life. I think that they were use to guest checking out cause they didnt argue or fight with us about a refund they gave it back willingly. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone no matter the price and I will never book there again unless they do a complete renovation and extermination. (Just knock it down and start over...lol)

The room looks ok but the housekeepers suck. When I moved the couch there was trash on the floor and the floors could stand to be mopped. All you hear all day and night are doors or whatever that sound is (I dont always go out and check). The girls at the front desk are kind of rude, but whats new. You need a key to get on the elevator so 5 stars for the security.

This is not a very clean hotel. The people who work here are nice but they like to hang up on you. Weve called maintenance 3 times in less than 8 hours for the A.C. in the room not working properly. The room remputure when we first arrived was 82 degrees in mid day then now its 8pm and its 76 degrees. The entire hotel A.C. is out. I would not recommend staying here.

Did anyone notice they have no hot water in the shower? We had to shower in room temperature water when they call it as "warm water"! The bed is dented, can hardly sleep but staffs were friendly. Wont come back for this, cant believe they call themselves "resort"and

Stayed 3 nights, we loved it here. Close to the beach (walking distance), and amazing view of the city from the balcony. Cheap uber/Lyft to and from south beach. The jacuzzi didnt work, and theres very few channels on the tv. Since we were there for vacation and in & out of the resort, that didnt really matter. Will stay again!

Trash motel, stained sheets, dirty carpets, trifling bathroom especially the tub, and worst part is the housekeeper is a thief. She stole my $50 flip flops and hotel didnt accommodate me for it just acted like they didnt care. Dont waste your money

If you just want a place to sleep while on a business trip, this hotel will meet your needs. Room is outdated, carpet dirty, found hair in the bathroom towels and beds (long hairs, we were to guys in the roomcloset has furniture inside which takes away room to hang your clothes, the bathroom door has a robe hanger that makes a permanent hole in the wall behind it, low quality bathroom amenities, and overall weird hotel decoration. Room 1106 had a nice view. No laundry bags available, no room service menu in our room to let us know if theres even room service, no restaurant either. The good side was the view and the little kitchenette with plenty of storage space, sink and glassware.

Flat screen no tv or remote, wifi only reaches to second floor, hazardous walkway from balcony to inside and the parking is 30$ and you have to valet also pulling in is a death trap!

Awful, awful, awful!.. The hotel (I will not call it a hotelsmelled mold all over the place. There was mold on the curtains and I had to hold my nose going in the hallway (I stayed att level 7). There was not warm water all the time and the wifi didn´t funtion. You can not take the elevator up to the pooldeck, because this pooldeck didn´t funtion since long ago. There were no restaurant at this hotel and there were very few restaurans nearby. The entire arera where the hotel is located is very boring. I am sure that the problems with health I got after one day has to do with the mold.The service was as low as possible.I will NEVER stay there any more.!!

This is a terrible place! I dont know how someone can be in business like this! If I were the bbb I would look into this places! Public health also needs to look into this place. Also false advertisement as well! So I would consult with legal advisement as well!

Rooms smelt bad. Beds smelt like arm pits. We were eventually moved but it took some complaining. No frills just a room with a bed. Old carpet, the air condition wasnt on it the communal hallways, and lots of sketchy residents.

Between the staff and the lack of customer service, I cannot realistically call this place a resort. Early check-ins are left to the discretion of young men whom seem to make policies up on the fly (the young Haitian woman was pleasant, professional and polite)...the hallways are saunas...the windows are full of Florida weather, grime, and dust...the couch bed will have you seeing a masseuse...and the room attendants not only came to fix the room at 4PM, they wanted us to leave AGAIN and made the beds with the same dirty sheets after I asked for them to be changed. The only saving graces are the location to the beach, waterway and it is walking distance to Las Vegas, Publix, a French bakery and less than $10 from the Broken Shaker.

Stayed March of 2013 and will be staying this March as well. For the price the location is good and the rooms are fairs. The staff is friendly. The furniture is worn and the rooms need some renovation.

If it werent for the gross dirty floors and cock roaches... I would give this place a 5 star rating for the value. Great view... High up... Balconies... Huge bathroom... Nice modern furniture with a very comfy clean bed. Dvd player... Nice staff... But holy cock roaches. Keep the room cold and youre fine. They dont come out then. But near by places charging hundreds or dollars a night versus 75? Good deal.
