Great place to visit !
Very well organized and a great choose to visit in Caracas.
Beautiful place in CCS
Great service. Awesome experience. Too crowded, so waiting time could be long
Nice to see nature!!! Recommend 100%.
A wonderful 15 min gondola ride (3.5 KMtakes you from the base station to the top. The incline is fairly steep and you gain altitude of about 2000m. As you go up, you would be able to see the Caracas skyline in all its glory besides a sudden change in the weather - from the humid base camp to the chill lighter climes at the top. There is a walkway with cafes and view points at the top. The mountain visit is worth 3-4 hours of your day for sure.It was a great place to visit whilst I was visiting Venezuela and gave me a great new perspective of the lovely country.(P.N - These are based on an older experience).
One of the best views I have ever seen from a cable car in my entire life. So peaceful to be “in” nature, nice weather and very relaxing.
Love this place, beautiful weather, amazing views
Great place
Best view of the Caracas city. And La Guiara coast
An excellent place to vist. Great views of the city and once youre up you can take a jeep ride to Galipan village where the food is very good. Bring a jacket its colder up on the mountain. Its a place you will visit often.
Awesome
A very nice tour using the Cableway to go up to the mountain. A very cheap ride it cost about 1 USD for each person. When you go up to the mountain you will feel a different weather, better to get a sweater if you feel cold quickly. If you are afraid from Hights dont use this Cableway. Generally we spent a very nice time using this ride and up to the mountain.
The best place in Caracas
Wagons are available even on peak hours..nice panoramic view from Caracas weather permits
Great place to relax ; and have an amazing view of Caracas and the sea at the same time .I went on Carnival and the weather was amazing ,not pollution cleaned and not clouds at all .Took spectacular pictures.People can skate on the ice artificial space. There are jeeps that for 1000 bolivares take you to Galipan town in the middle of the mountains,a turistic town where the nature and fauna are essential to enjoy. There is a project to renovate the cable train that take you from the mountains Waraira Repano(it means in Pemon language Sierra Grande)(Big Mountain to La Guaira( the beachas it was in the past. The Humboldt iconic hotel was closed at the time I went for visitors .Lately is just reserved for government activities. In General a mandatory place to visit for tourists if go to Caracas
Its a nice place to visit, the parking lot is not so big, you should go early if you want to park inside. For people with Venezuelas ID the price is in bolivares soberanos, for people without cédula the price for entrance is $10 USD. From the start point to the top is about 15 minutes, once you get to the mountain there are several shops, much of them sell food, a lot of desserts. You can walk until the Humbolt Hotel, right now its not open to the public, but the views are great, in one side the ocean and the other side you can see almost the whole City of Caracas, of course if the weather is good enough. This is a "must do" if you are in Caracas, and you havent visited it yet.
The light went out and the lift stopped for about 30min until it started working again.
The system is not open every day. But it has restaurants and beautiful views of the mountain.
Long lines to buy the ticket, the hotel isnt finished yet
You can have a beautiful trip in this cableway, although if youre a foreigner you have to pay your ticket in dollars
Súper place is very beautiful and amazing
Good service although its a ripoff for foreigners... 20$ a ticket should be illegal to be charged
Unfortunately they have two prices, foreigners pay much more, around 20$.
Want to see the whole city at once? Come here! What an amazing ride.
Nice place to hang up with family.
Nice view to the city at the top of the mountain that you can go on foot or by cable car
The view is incredible. But now anybody that doesnt have a Venezuelan ID(Cedulagotta pay to use the Teleferico whatever amount in dollars that theyre charging that day.
Its a good visit, very enjoyable, but on weekends could be very croud. So go early to avoid the queue to: 1Enter the parking log (its a little small for the cable car instalation capacity), 2purchase the ticket and 3take the cable car, also for those early birds you can come down also earlier and avoid the queue.
Iconic place of Caracas, Venezuela. The staff is at times friendly and the place does require maintenance. The ride to the mountain is enjoyable but be aware of thieves. Food prices are expensive at the mountain.
Very pleased with service, nice view and experience. We were living in Caracas for a while, so we knew all their tricks and treats. Instead of waiting an endless line, I went straight to an open window, handed them bolivars told them I am local without showing any ID, got tickets...after purchasing the tickets we went straight to the cable car. Line was huge, don’t know what caused them to line up even though the cars were empty and worked as it should be leaving place in order every minute or so. Same thing back, people line up and create endless line. We went straight to the cable cars and they were leaving place half empty. We simply jumped in and got back to city safe and sound.
Cool mountain place, you can ride in an excellent environment, get a good view of the city and la guaira
Tried to visit but was not allowed to go up because of being foreign
Icon of Caracas City. Great place for going with family and friends.
Amazing 15 min. cable car ride with beautiful views of the Avila National Park
Great way of transport from the city yo the Humboldt peak. Nice views and comfortable seating. Safe for little children and elder people. Totally recommended!
This is where I proposed to my wife, so you bet I love it and think is really romantic...
Great place.. Please take care about lines
Wonderful. The only bad thing that the system is operated by the government
Nice way to spend half day. Eating good food and far away from the city. Also great views !
Beautiful views to the sea an Caracas but 1hr waiting for the ride longer lines at midday, come as early as possible on weekends, above many street artists an vendors but lacking indoor place like a restaurant, they are working on the hotel and other amenities besides that a must if you come to Caracas
