Sirma's House in Skopje

My stay at Sirmas House was amazing. The garden is a beautiful place to sit in, and grown lots of nice herbs to cook with (in the fully-equipped kitchen). The location is lovely, it is a quiet area with a nice view and still just an easy walk from the centre. The house also stays cool in the summer. Zoya (the owneris always happy to talk, ready to help, will explain what you should see in Skopje, what local events are going on, etc. She is an incredible person and made my stay so much more meaningful. I would definitely recommend Sirmas House to anyone!

Strange place. On the contrary to other travellers before me I didn´t like it at all:- some things half broken that could easily be fixed: for example to open the lock of the main door hardly works; big nails coming out of the construction of my bed (with dangere to get hurt)- many, many rules all over the place: in each room (kitchen, bathroom, floor, entrancethere are papers telling you what is forbidden and what you have to do. I have never seen so many rules in a hoste or a pension.- smells musty as there is too much humidity, feels more like a cellar than a ground floor.- ridiculously small towel (maybe 30cm x 40 cm)- last but not least: I had expected more "life", being the only guest you easily feel lonely at the place with all the things described before. Maybe this last one was just bad luck.

Zoyas hostel was very clean, comfortable, and well equiped. It was located in a beautiful part of Skopje, surrounded by nature. Zoya was a very kind, responsive, and helpful host. I would definitely reccomend her hostel to anyone visiting Skopje!

Es un lugar pequeño, no está centran, pero es tranquilo, la ciudad no es grande por lo que puedes ir caminando a todos lados, también hay taxis que pasan por fuera.

Great hostel to stay. Quiet and full of nature. Close walk to the centre of town. Choice of private room or dorm. Love this place:)

Lovely place! The garden must be awesome in summer, perfect place for travellers.

In fact It is not a hostel, it is a house. The rooms are cheap and clean. Only disadvantage is its distance to city center. I recommend this place.

Cozy affordable hostel. Away from the town so nice and quiet, but still walking distance to the town and shops. Beautiful garden and creative mosaic work throughout the hostel.
