Glad we found this place. Came in hungry after a trip to the zoo and got delicious food. They even accommodated a picky kid with a custom pizza. Definitely coming back when were in the area.
MoreFood amazing, Ajarski Kachapouri and Lahmajune omelette, very very delicious 🤤. And Armenian coffee ☕️ so good . Service professional and helpful, fast. Thank you very much. Love this place!! Highly recommended!!
MoreFood was really good. We tried a few different breakfast items and all were excellent
MoreDelicious Armenian food. Try the soujuk.
Will give them 10 stars for their ajaski. It is amazing.
Everything tasted great! Service was quick, however, they need to regularly clean the tables for seating and provide napkins!
MoreIm just a white kid with a long-standing love of Armenian food, so take that for what you will, but this place is amazing.I just had a spinach borek and zahtar maneish, but they were both great. Really solid pastry, leagues better than what I normally get at a spot like this, and the spinach in particular was really flavorful and balanced.Service was awesome! The one person working was super nice, took my order while they were working on some other peoples food, and seemed to know basically everyone else in there. All around good vibes and good food. Would recommend
MoreThis place…. From the moment you walk in you can smell all the baked goodness. My only complaint is that I live so far away…. Definitely on my list of places to stop when I’m in town.
MoreIf there was a Hall Of Fame for LA falafels Sipan would win on its first nomination. Clean, crispy shell and always fresh. A true taste of the Levent.
MoreTasty food and fresh, love the fresh bread, just a bit salty for my taste but over all was good 👍
MoreThe food is amazing, the dough is thin marination is on point! Excellent service! We highly recommend!
MoreBiggups to my boys at Sipan Bakery! Everything here is good. If you have not tried Armenian style pizza, break your teeth on this place - dive in and get some good eats - owners are super cool so dont be shy to ask any questions - its all good!
MoreMy man Armen wasnt lying when he said his were the best in town, my new spot
Always good food, we used to come here a lot. Now we moved out of state and I wish they were nearby.
More🇦🇲 ARMENIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles- The Armenian-style pizza here is not so different than those enjoyed in Iran, which also drops the marinara or any other sauce in favor of more cheese. Thankfully (sorry Persians!they do not insist on using ranch dressing and ketchup on their pies, Sipan instead passes out a healthy amount of their homemade spicy chipotle sauce. This creamy, nutty sauce is the ultimate LA fusion and surprisingly addictive. It definitely lived up to its praise and was used to the last drop on the large chicken shawarma pizza ($15.55).
MoreEverything is amazing here and the customer service is outstanding. Mante, chicken sharma pizza, and the ajarski wowwww! Will definitely be back!
MoreVery nice place. Family owned and run. Owner was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Fully recommended
MoreGreat variety of Middle Eastern delights. Prices are comparable to other bakeries around Glendale.
MoreLamajoon omelet...so delicious
Had lunch here today 9/30, the small shawerma -Shawarma chicken 7-in pizza was delicious!! 🔥 ordered online promised in 12min ...right on! with a little tangy sauce on the side -its a little spicy...light flaky crust 😋 yum! Great lunch!
MoreHere are updated menu pics
Consistently ranked among the best falafel in Glendale. And if you know Glendale, thats saying something. You go there for the quality of the food, not the ambiance.
MoreI try for the first time The Armenian Ajarski Kachapuri breakfast it was so delicious, I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to try something different .
MoreDelicious food with great prices! Make sure to try their Adjarski khachapuri with eggs. ...mmm yummy!
MoreTheir khachapuri is the best. Everything is fresh and tastes home-made. Our familys favorite spot for delicious armenian-syriam cuisine
MoreThe best lahmajuun Ive had in Glendale hands down. This place is honestly so good, they have brick ovens and do everything from scratch. The only downside is that the parking can be a bit rough
MoreHigh quality and very tasty but they need to clean their outside tables and parking lot from debris. Unfortunately the Dominos pizza store next door customers leaving pizza boxes, cigarette buts... Ugh.
MoreTheir zaatar bread is amazing! 😋😍 Im so addicted to it. Will definitely go back.
MoreI never go to glendale but when I do, I make sure to stop by and get some good food at sipan bakery. They have breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. The staff is amazing... They go the extra mile to fit your needs... I saw the beautiful owner and even she gets down in the kitchen.. Support this place you wont regret it.
MoreAmazing mediterranean Bakery, very generous owner! Good try at once you will become addicted did this food I highly recommended.
MoreExcellent food. Very flavorful, fresh, and low prices! The falafel wrap was the best Ive ever had!
MoreExcellent falafel and boreks (esp cheese). Great zaatar bread, Ok chicken shawarma. Fast friendly service. Halal!
MoreHad the khachapuri it was awful. Nothing like I had in russia. Cheese was not gooey like I’ve had before also had like a pretzel type dough which tasted bad. Not authentic at all
Morestumbled upon this cute shop after the dmv and o m g its amazing!! the quality of the food is insane. everythings made with love. prices are unbeatable too. I will be back whenever im in the neighborhood.
MoreWe have been going to Sipan bakery for more than 2 years and totally love the food. Two weeks back, we celebrated our daughters 1st BDay in a near-by park. We we are from India. The default choice was to order Indian food. But we are so glad that we talked to Fadi at the counter. He offered his suggestions which were perfect. The price was very reasonable. He delivered the food exactly on the time, hot and fresh. The food was decorated very well. Looks matter a lot for food, especially if you have guests coming. Fadi and his team totally gets it. It smelled so good that the onlookers in the park had many compliments for our small party. All the guests loved the food and asked us where we got it from. Overall, highly recommended place.
MoreThe lahmajune was the best I’ve ever had and the zahtar sandwich was light and very tasty. Will return for the great food and service.
MoreFood came out hot, place was clean, lots of beverage choices. They have two tables for two inside and one outside by the entrance.
MoreWent here for the first time with some friends and everything was fantastic !!!! Staff is polite. Sides were good too and the grilled meats are juicy and cooked well not burnt and dry.Im definitely returning
MoreThis place is a good spot to eat. Jack Mushgyotyan doesnt know what hes saying. Go comment about about Mcdonalds oil. At least Armenians have the audacity to cook in front of you and prepare everything as if they were in there own home. Our food is like any other cultural food it needs to prepared home made style. Theres no shortcut to these recipes... Anything from any mom and pop shop is always gonna be decent or better then what most places are going to offer. if you want real food and a taste of a different culture Id highly suggest to try any local Armenian spot. They may not have a red carpet for you like Mr. Jack expects but, theyll speak to you if you are a normal man or woman they arent anti social and even if they seem a little out of its because of the high stress they endure in preparation. So excuse them if they dont have your fake jollyness from starbucks. These are what real workers look like... Ara Mushgytot siktirit kashi aper gna iskakan gordz kti matkeret shat es oktagordzum ches e amanchum hyeri masin tenc ban es grum.
MoreLoo king for a tasty falafel sandwich? Then this place is great. Ask for it spicy for a hit of hot sauce.
MoreI know mom&pop places arw hard to run and make good but this one didnt even try.... Food was unpleasant. Service was lacking any actual service. The salad smelled of old oil (that plastic smell when oil sits to longunless it was something else that smelled. It went in the trash after we opened it. The chicken tacos (reason we were recommendedtasted of oil and the texture was not a desired one. The beef shawerma plate was green/yellow (to much cuminthe plate didnt come with bread or anything else. Some onions and the meat on foil. (Bad idea because foil makes the food taste like metalI wont be going back nor would I recommend this place.
MoreThis place has been serving me quality food for over 7 years now since the day my good friends introduced me to their incredible menu. This place is my in n out. There is no better choice for a quick bite or small meal. The food is fresh, healthy, and makes me happy. If you are close by try one of their fine selections, anything off their menu can be a snack, even their wraps which they cut in half if you ask them!! I love the felafel, and I give you my word, if you like felafel you will with love their wrap.
MoreSo good, so cheap. The guy working was very friendly. I ordered take out on yelp and it was super easy. The muhammara maneish was my personal winner. But the zaatar sandwich is dope, spicy cheese borek dope, and the breakfast borek with egg was really dope. The dough is pretty light and thin - I dont like maneish on a thick doughy bread.
MoreFresh baked savory goodness. Sipan is carb heaven.
DELICIOUS! Olive beorek was a good appetizer and the veggie ajarski was pretty good, but the falafel tacos were the show stealers. They have a great spicy dressing and have a touch of mint in them which waa surprisingly tasty. We also got a spicy cheese beorek that I would have passed on if i had a do over. Altogether with a couple drinks it was about 20bucks. We will definitely be coming back. I was thinking of getting a vegetarian lahmajun but the server said they dont make those which doesnt jibe with the reviews I had read. Maybe Ill try again next time.
MoreGood food. Nice people, who help you find something good.
Friendly service. A great variety of amazing foods to choose from with some delicious vegan options. My wife and tried the vegan mushroom lamajun and potato borek and they were both great. A definite stop for us when we are in town. We also tried the ajarski which was delicious. I combined the garlic sauce from zankou chicken with the potato boreks at sipan for a match made in heaven:-)
MoreBest value food Ive had in LA, maybe ever. Delicious, great vegan options, uncommonly friendly service, and you can feed 3 hungry people for $14 with leftovers.I strongly recommend the mushroom borek and the zahtar. Zahtar was a really unique flavor experience, quite good.
MoreGreat selection of baked delicacies which are made fresh right in front of you!The owners are very friendly and let you sample foods just as they come out of the oven. I highly recommend trying any of the Beorks (the spicy cheese is my favoriteor the Zhatar Mashroha.Absolutely delicious!
MoreBeen coming here every saturday, since my first groupon back in October. Thats about 6months.. Malik takes great care and we always request khachapuori pizza style and falafel sandwich.. They also cater. The bread is so good.. i live on sipan food.. this my soul food.
