Hotel fine, staff friendly food disappointment, you were restricted to only part of n the food which came out Luke warm wont go back

New owners I think... The meat was good, but there was no vegetables in sight... also there was an incident with some questionable chicken, but it was replaced and that tasted good.

IF I Could there Would Be ONLY Half star! NO RECOMMENDATIONS from Our Family!!! 1,000 times VERY DISAPPOINTED with Meals Presented to Us, Especially on MOTHERS DAY! Young Staff Require PROPER Training, Congratulate them though with THEIR Manners & Etiquette!!!

A great place for a drink and chat! Very friendly staff and good for a laugh along!

Update your website .... No playground as advertised for the kids Just wanted a steak or schnitzel but . NO .. Chinese food was nice but again not as advertised on their web page.

Food at quick sticks was bland, had no flavour. The waiter made us get up and go get our own cutlery .

Looking forward to a pub lunch.....but NO Quik Stix Chinese instead, so yummy.Beef ìn Black Bean Sauce, Speciaĺ Fried Rice, Combination Meat and Vegetables SzechùànRemembered to take photos too!!

Good pub, nice staff. Free pool table, decent Juke box just a bit overly bright! Dim the lights a bit please- feels like closing time all the time.

The Chinese night is pretty good value for money. Good variety. Well presented. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Chinese was awesome, only thing missing was a seafood dish and must have cashews in a chicken dish

Went for all you can eat Chinese buffet on the 16/11/19. First the table reserved for us had a dead fly on it. Then the buffet was empty (this was at 7:30pmwhen we asked for more food they did not make any more, others that paid after us had barely had anything to eat. Staff were quite rude for no reason at all. One waitress even shoved food in her mouth with her hands while packing up the buffet right in front of customers. Will never return and our friends who live locally will not either.

Only experienced the Sunday night dining, but couldnt recommend Kwik Stix; I guess the name gives away the fact that the meals are pre packaged/pre cooked and slapped together with whatever sauce and not cooked with any love of food or customer satisfaction, a very disappointing waste of $92, especially the main meals, entrees were value for money.

Very dissapointed. Dinner with 5 other people meals came out nearly 20mins apart. Yet 3 orders were the same meal which made no sense that they would come out that far apart.Calamari was extremely salty. Schnitzel was tastless. Not a vegetarian option except vegies bar... but potatoes had bacon in them. Service was terrible.We would not recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely meals, and very friendly staff. The salad bar is great. The only problem is that there is no vegetarian options.

Went here as we are vegan and thought the vege bar would be a good option as theyHad it as main meal option. We weren’t given large plates and had to use tiny ones. Also had to ask staff if they would replace the empty vegg trays..they did with a tray of cabbage. Ended up with a dinner of cabbage, pumpkin and cold frozen carrots. Very disappointing

Great food and service, meals were reasonably priced, kids ate free (Tuesday). Kids were a little bit disappointed that the indoor playground is not there anymore.

The food was great, the prices fantastic, atmosphere was wonderful. It is disappointing the playground for children has been closed and this is the reason it didnt get 5 stars.

Had lunch at the Taminga Hotel on several occasions while in Clare and found both service and food very good. Good daily specials and pricing. Salad and veg bar great.

So extremely disappointing. Deep fried minute steak served with wilted baby spinach, 4 options at vegetable bar (2 of which were emptyand soggy. Leaf salad or pasta at salad bar. I left hungry. No money back. Poor.

Always was a great place for a family meal but sadly i didnt eat it as was below standard.has it change management or something no salad or veg anymore no choice only ice cream for dessert

its a family bistro, the foods alright and they do have a good range of wines.One staff member was brilliant, happy and helpfully. The other.....

Based on my knowledge that this is part of the Gawler Arms and Southern Hotel, I thought I knew what to expect.The staff were friendly, and the hotel itself was well presented.The food - lets just say that "if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all."

Singularly the worst pub meal I have ever had. OK it was the low cost lunch menu but how can Roast Beef be totally inedible - the gravy could not even be swallowed. Vege Bar nothing there that even resembled foodYuk is the only word that can describe
