Sioni Cathedral - Cathedral in Tbilisi, Georgia
Such a beautiful church to visit, out of respect we didnt take any pictures within, but the ceiling was adorned with beautiful paintings. When we entered, there was a small group of ladies singing. We bought a couple candles at the entrance which we lit inside. The grounds were beautiful and spacious too with many benches for us to rest our weary feet.
beautiful cathedral, very quiet place
I went to part of the mass on Saturday. It was very reverent, the priest chants and a group of women reply in lovely harmonic voices, its beautiful. Important to respect the dress code for women if attending a service: skirt at least to the knee, shoulders and head covered.
A great place to connect with your inner self
Its a beautiful cathedral.
Beautiful and lovely Cathedral!
Must be visited. From the view of the Cathedral - Sioni is divine, has rich history and decoration.
perfect👌
A great place for a short rest in the "evening" .
A nice cathedral. Though they dont want women wearing jeans or trousers. It has to be a skirt
A very good place to be, a beautiful Cathedral with calming atmosphere, exactly what I needed. On Saturday, about 4p.m. there was a serving.I think it is held every Saturday. You can buy candles at the entrance. Also there is a nice garden and benches to seat at the Cathedral. And there is a drinkable tap water.
Beautiful, well made orthodox cathedral.

The paintings on the walls and ceiling were the most beautiful painting among georgian churches. It also has a beautiful backyard. At the time we visited there the back yard was full of ripe grapes. It had a really pleasant sight.
