Siofok Water Tower in Veszprem

This water tower is 110 years old!

Really nice plaza!A tourist information office is directly below the tower. Tower was renovated this year to celebrate the 100 years. Came on the 2nd weekend of October and coincidentally there was a festival/fair with lots of food stands and live music. Close to the shopping mall and some nice restaurants around it. You can walk around the park that is in front.

I wouldnt go out of my way to find it, though its unmissable if you walk or drive to Siofok centre.

Must-see landmark downtown. It worth to go up if you have time. Several coffee houses and ice cream places around.

It is still a nice place, but the old Hungarian Style from years ago has been lost

Nice views, not super wheelchair friendly but the friendly and helpful staff makes up for it.

Siofok is the best place for visiting tourist..In my opinion is the best place with restaurant and lack view as well as best for party 😜🎉

The tower is nice inside, view on the town and the lake as well. I am not happy with the service, they were very passive, barely said hello or price of the ticket. Coffee was watery, very weak, you have to order and pick it up by yourself. They also dont speak English in the cafe. I used card payment and the paper was rolling out of the card machine meaning the payment was done but the waitress told me to pay with cash because her card machine died and she didnt get the reciept. Very unprofessional. Just skip the cafe.

Really nice construction. In groundfloor is turistic center. You may find here prospects in many languages: Hungarian, Slovak, Polish, English, German... The employees are very friendly, they can speak at least english and they navigated us to many places, for what I would say big thank you to them :-)

Great sightseeing place, the top of the tower goes round and shows you the distance to different capitals. You use the caffe there also.

Loved what they did to a building that lost itd initial purpose. Visit, have a coffee on the rotating deck, enjoy Siófok from above!

Normal observation deck was great but if you wanted to try 360° observation deck, that rotates, you couldnt really see anything because widows were small and dirty.

Historical place, interesting to see and spend about 30 minutes or less there

Didnt get to the lookout, but enjoyed the town square. In winter & early spring many shops are closed, ferries dont run, etc. But a great place none-the-less to get away from it all.

One star is only for the beautiful sunset over Siófok that we managed to see during our visit. Totally overpriced and the staff that works there turned out to be absolutely unfriendly and unpleasant: we had some misunderstanding because she didnt speak English well. Weird thing considering that it is a tourist attraction that is visited not only by Hungarian-speaking people

Nice view, helpful and witty staff, delicious coffee.Its a bit pricy however. The cafe was definitely created for tourists, not for locals.

Very central lookout point to see Siófok and the lake from a distance. It costs some to get in, but theres a little cafe and a spinning seated, windowed area at the top to relax and enjoy the view. One stair level down from the cafe is a terrace with open air view and walking space to see everything without windows.

Very nice view on the Balaton and the wider city centre of Siofok. Lovely renovation into a second life re-purpose of the water tower.

a place to visit. the whole ticket is 850ft for one person, the access to the floor is made with the help of an elevator. unfortunately the view here is obstructed by small windows.here is a confectionery. from here you can climb up where it is in the rotating restaurant, unfortunately it is always busy. From here you can go down to the toilets that are clean or to the open balcony. Unfortunately the glass surrounding the balcony is very dirty. So if you want to do about the city panorama you have to take the phone out.

You can eat, drink and on the top floor the floor under the chairs spin slowly but it spins you can overlook the whole city from up there the windows are too low to look really far away but it was nice none the less.

The tower is an interesting building and I dare to say it offers more than I had expected. You must buy a ticket at the entrance, then take one of the lifts that bring you up and just enjoy your coffee and cake in the cafe at the top. There you can climb some more steps and enjoy the view and still have your treat of coffee there. The top of the tower is turning around slowly. Really amazing!

The cafe is a fun place to sit and watch Siófok go by. I didnt stay out on the balcony too long but my friend did. It was a little too high for me. Our coffee was good and the service was great.

Not so spectacular view as it is quite far from the shore. I enjoyed sunset from the beach much more. Inside the tower is full of flies and spiders. If you can, go to Tihany for much better views.

Nothing special about it. But it would be worth to check it. The view is beautiful, but most of it just if you stay at the café. They have a nice cafe which spins around giving you a nice panoramic view.There is only one binocular so you have to wait.

Its good place for check-in and take a picture when you go to Siófok. If you want to go inside, you can buy tickets and see Siófok from above

Nice view of the Balaton from the top of the rotating tower. Even have a small bar there as well.

Bahama Mama Cocktail was great. The alcohol-free Safe Sex On The Beach was also nice. The prices were good. Amazing view! Can recommend this little Café. Coffee is also pretty cheap. Nice! :)

Nice place to visit in Siofok. There is lift and take you to panoramic view floor also there is nice coffee bar with dessert, coffes and alkohol :- I recomend to visit.

Nothing special to see from the tower, a bit of Balaton which is nice but better view can be seen from nearby city and the city of Siofok which doesnt have too much to offer apart from what can you see next to the tower. Tower itself is fine but if you are traveling across the country you probably saw/will see one of those or a really similar one.
