Siempre que paseo por Montevideo trato de ir a este restaurante. Es Hermoso y cocinan Delicioso ♡Los platos son abundantes, todos los ingredientes originarios de Uruguay. La atención super buena.LO RECOMIENDO.El espacio en sí también es muy bello. El 90% de lo que esa expuesta está a la venta, vajilla, cuadros y aceites, sales, etc.También poseen a la venta hecho por la casa un trago típico del puerto de Ciudad Vieja= el medio y medio.

Fantastic food and ambience. Attention to menu and customer enjoyment by wait staff was exceptional-Janetta patiently explained and demonstrated the preparation, sevice, lore and enjoyment of yerba mate. Chicken sandwich and fish platter were unusually delicious. Dining experience was delightful. A must for any new visitor to Uruguay.

A fabulous restaurant for vegetarians and omnivores. My husband devoured the cheesy gnocchi which was the meal of the day the pork sandwich with avocado mayo was also excellent

Otro lugar que combina una oferta gastronómica excelente con un entorno de casa de gente común: vidrios, cuadros, tazas de época, grabados, de todo. Es como trasladarse a otra parte por un rato. Observen con cuidado las paredes. Pueden encontrar firmas interesantes como si nada.

Lovely atmosphere with antique furnitures and decorations. The food didn’t really live up to my expectations, but their medio y medio was delicious. Would love to come back and try other plates. - added: I revisited this place and their dessert and milkshake were really bland.

Warm and cozy restaurant/ cafe or special occasions . Delicious food , great service , I really recommend it.

Excelente opción para celíacos/ menú gluten free en Ciudad Vieja, sin duda volveremos.Nos explicaron que cambian la oferta dulce a diario pero tenían al menos 3 opciones singluten dulces, con excelente pinta.

Lugar bem aconchegante e com boas opções de comida, tanto para o almoço como para o café da tarde. Atendimento impecável

Fabulous. A beautiful cafe with antique plates and cups. Cakes are lovely. Amazing eggs Benedict. Only sorry I cant come here everyday and wish I could have one nearer home. Go its really amazing.

Deliciosa deliciosa deliciosa la comida. El ambiente es único ya que nunca vi algo como así. Se puede comprar todo lo que se ve en el restaurante. Lo único que no me gusto fueron las meseras que tenían una actitud media anti. Buen lugar para comer igual

Cozy place, good healthy food

After two months in MVD, I discovered this restaurant! We tried the daily specials that were outstanding: flavorful, well presented, and plentiful. Staff was very friendly and service impeccable. Definitely a must return! Highly recommended

pasta of the day was 💯 maybe 110 :)carrot soup was really tasty but little bit too sweet for usstill totally worth it👌🏼

Lugar ideal para turistas y para quienes no también. Todos los platos que te sirven son con productos nativos del uruguay. Hay desde pimienta de la anacahuita hasta helado de yerba. Platos abundantes, muy ricos y bien presentados. Los empleados muy copados.

Great place to calm down, drink Medio&Medio and have a nice lunch. High quality food and a cozy atmosphere.

Interesting place for lunch or coffee with fresh and tasty menu options... service is ok but slow which may match the “unpretentious” name but a bit more attention and care to address and serve customers would be welcome and beneficial to achieve an overall positive experience.

Pleasant service but a bit slow for outside tables. Menu only in Spanish. The plate for two is not big so dont worry. However amount of meat and fish very small so maybe consider another option.

Late late lunch on the terrace. Saw other customers have the lomo (meatwith salad and potatoes. It was really delicious. The place inside is funky in a antique shop style. They sell some products like dulce de leche. At first the service was slightly frosty probably because we ordered about 45 min before closing. But it got way better. At the end we were offered two alfajores that are to die for. They close at 1830. Great place for breakfast, lunch and late lunch and tea. Lovely time and great food.

This place is foodie minded and comfortably decorated in that uniquely Uruguayan eclectic style...try a matte here also and simply enjoy. We had one of the flatbreads and a salad- nothing was disappointing.

Un lugar particular para tomar el té. La carta tiene una torta para celiacos que está deliciosa. Ademas venden productos caseros como licores, aderezos y especias. Muy recomendable

We stumbled upon the place when walking down the street.And we are sooo happy that we did.We sat down, not knowing much Spanish, but a smile and some hand gestures gets you a long way.They had a menu in English, we ordered a fantastic salad, and wanted some wine with the dish.The waiter brought two bottles, and said that we should taste and choose which we preferred.We choose a wine from Uruguay, sparkling from Pisano. Fantastic wine!

Light, tasty pizzas, great dessert selection and very helpful and friendly staff. Get in early for the tarts if the day (at 1:45pm I was too late). Relaxed eating and popular with locals.

Tasty food - accessible prices

This looks and feels like a ladies lunch place. Its restaurant/gift shop combination. The menu is very good and they have daily specials and an impressive dessert case. Like a lot of the restaurants in the area, its only open for lunch on weekdays. Its definitely worth stopping for lunch or a great postre If walking along sarandi. They have outside seating if the weather is good for people watching

Un lugar muy lindo para hacer una parada a comer algo mientras se recorre el centro de la ciudad. El ambiente tiene ciertos sectores con muebles antiguos, estilo anticuario. En otro sector se venden productos y entre medio las mesas. Respecto a la comida, fui a merendar y tanto la torta de zanahaoria como el brownie estaban deliciosos.

The atmosphere is very cool, lots of interesting crafts and art in cafe decor. The food is amazing.

Very nice retro decorations, food looks awesome and tastes delicious! Best lasagna Ive ever had. Strongly recommend to stop by during a walk around ciudad vieja.
