Tasting room of a local, family-owned winery with both dry & sweet wines & a lounge area.
Love the wine suggestions, especially when Im new to drinking wine. Helped me understand what goes into wine. Very nice people!
Was told that my two boys could come in but had to be at the table. My oldest sat down and my youngest stood behind him as he did not like the chair texture (autisticthe woman told him if he didnt sit down he would have to leave . We left and will never even try wines from there. Shame, we like supporting local
Closed! And supposedly for sale. Go down the street to Cabal. Great reds! Loved the Malbec. 1/18/2022
Really great owners and it was decent price to taste 5 wines and we kept the glasses. Some were okay others were great! Lots of fun and bought a couple of bottles
Hank is so friendly and the wines are exceptionally tasty. Nice place. The Port is excellent and the TNT is unique and flavorful.
Delicious wine, especially the T.N.T. Jan is very sweet and knowledgeable as well.
Great wine and great conversation with Hank.
While walking Allen st we noticed this winery. There was a sign on the door that interested me to want to stop in when they opened.Im so glad we were able to stop. Hank is an absolute gem to talk with and the wine tasting was an informative and wonderful experience!
🤮🤢 I almost threw up. My husband and I left after the third wine taste. We paid and left. Could not finish the wine tasting. Comparable to apple cider vinegar & cant say the what the other taste like. 🚽🧻
Terrible!! I’ve done a lot of wine tastings and this was awful….I can’t believe someone would like to drink this wine…..
Hank was wonderful to talk to and had smooth tasting wines. The wines are easy to drink and a nice way to cool. off.
I didnt try the wine before I bought it. I wish I would have because its AMAZING!!! I would have bought more to bring home with me if I would have known how much I would love it. I bought the 2 sweeter wines Sweetheart and Angelina, I love them both worth the price!
Im not normally a wine person but they made the experience amazing! I even found a few I loved and purchased! The lady was so sweet and patient with me. Definitely recommend stopping in!
The wine was excellent! My husband and I both did a tasting and I can truly say there was not one thing we tried that we didn’t love! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her son, they are wonderful people and we enjoyed chatting with them while doing our tasting!
Who would expect wine tasting in Tombstone-Silver Strike is one of two wineries we noticed. The tasting costs about $15 and includes the glass. We perhaps prefer California style wines however, the owner, Hank, makes the stop worthwhile. He is a character and fun.
Wine was good. But I thought he said it was $16.23 for the bottle. Got home and discovered he charged me $60.23 for the bottle. Definitely not worth that much. Wont go again and buy from them.😒
Jann was very patient and helpful with us. I was worried about the TNT wine and she still had me try it but let me try a different one because I wasn’t 100% sold on it. I will say that the TNT wine was delicious, I just am sensitive to spice. Jann’s recommendation was to mix that wine with tequila and that would be delicious. The Bore Doe was my favorite.
Good wine, nice owner
Wow! Just wow!! This is not tourist wine! This tasting is more than worth it. The Bore doe rivals some $300+ bottles Ive tasted and the doc is an amazing petite Syrah. The Riesling is in like none Ive ever tasted. These are real winery wines, not grocery store or drug store, but while the bottle prices may be higher than you want to pay the taste of these wines is hundreds of dollars more than they are charging and they are sold for a reasonable price for the quality and type of wines they are. If you want a bargain enjoy the tasting, if you want good, seriously good wine you found it. The owners make the wine on the premises and are wonderfully nice people. Looking for the gem in Tombstone, you found it. Enjoy!
Awesome place
It was so nice to meet the owners/ winemakers. They were so kind and knowledgeable . We bought 10 bottles of our favorite varieties. We made sure to keep it cool (as was mentioned and is common sensedriving it home across the desert. As soon as we arrived home and unpacked we had to open a bottle it tasted just the same as it did at the tasting! If youre looking for a good local wine this is a must!!!
Owners were so friendly and informational💜💜💜
My friends and I have enjoyed both the atmosphere and the presence of the owners company during our wine tasting. Jann and Hank have an amazing pulse on the creation of unique blends using grapes locally, bottling locally and obviously tasting locally. She took her passion and wrapped it around a unique label in the real old west. The sweet wines are a delightful dessert all of their own and I have enjoyed the Reds from top to bottom. Looking forward to the newest creation Pepper Wine! You rock, and thanks for making each experience a unique and enjoyable respite from the day to day grind-locally!
Small in size but had a pretty decent selection of wine for a local shop. Knowledgeable staff. Moderately priced wine tasting. Overall, good experience!
My girlfriend and I stopped in winery while walking around Tombstone. My girlfriend asked if they had a $20.00 or so bottle of wine to purchase as gift for a friend. The clerk replied, "no.......if you want that there is aWalmart 20 miles from here." Since when did they start using sarcasmas a sales technique?
Incredible wines. Delicious.
We bought 350 dollars in wine which included a 100 dollar bottle of port at Silver Strike Winery. This was after doing a tasting there. When getting the bottles we bought home and opening them all the bottles tasted NOTHING like the wine we tasted at Silver Strike winery. Weve tasted wines all over the country and have NEVER been so disappointed with a wine buy before. We believe it was a bait and switch situation and hope that anyone buying there be extremely careful in your wine purchasing at Silver Strike Winery. The wine that you taste might not be the wine you take home.
Was a very simple tasting room, but the staff were very knowledgeable about Arizona wines. Really liked the tempranillos.
I was in the area to attend my sons Army graduation so I thought would be nice to visit Tombstone. I was happy to see the Silver Strike wine tasting room. My 1st experience with AZ wines was in Sedona, AZ earlier this month and I was less then impressed. Living in CA we tend to be a bit jaded when it comes to wines.Well I will tell you Silver Strike has changed my impression of AZ wines. Not only were the owners a delight the selection was remarkable. I am more the red wine type however the two whites I sampled were pleasant. Sadly I was flying but I make a list from those sampled and I plan to add them to my Christmas shopping list.
Skeptical of Wine from a small tourist town? Dont be. I stopped and was treated to the most knowledgeable wine maker and delightful wines. Bought several to take home.
