Silk Route: Chinese Cuisine in Rawalpindi

Good food. Not of Mei Kong level though.. but even Mei Kong is not consistent. So if you are in Bahria or DHA, this is a good place.

Good food. V simple ambiance . Quiet place. A place where you want to enjoy your meal in peace.

Didnt liked it at all! Its like any other fake Chinese restaurant, and also expensive. Dumplings were not hot. I could make better at home! Soup was just okay. And food meh!

Silk route offering good and fresh Chinese food also serving continental food Desi food tea coffee and other refreshments, no long waits when ordering food arive on time and freshly cooked a bit over priced but nice and calm place good ambience staff is nice best time to visit is dinner time

Worst chinese restaurant ever visited, with prices sky high. Not worth visiting this place as there is no quality of food and service. The food was not up to the mark as it was tasteless. American chopsuey had tomato ketchup in it n was rubbery n tough to eat. Overall very disappointing experience.

Taste is good but it is not spacious as I was thinking of it before its visit. Staff is courteous.

So, I went there with my friends and had prawns. They had Manchurian and egg fried rice. The prawns I had were very very good and I loved those. The quantity was not good but taste wise, really good. The ambience was good too. One thing, I didnt like was the fact that most things in the menu were not available at that moment. Maybe it was the day we went there. Not sure though.But, I liked the restaurant, the ambience and the taste and I would definitely go there again hoping they will serve their whole menu.

The place is located in a very quiet area. The ambience is good not excellent. The food is quite good and the prices are just a little bit higher. Overall its nice.

One and the only excellent chinese restaurants in this area. A bit pricey but definately worth the money. Soups were great as well as the main course.

Loved the place, loved the food. Staff is well behaved. Only negative point in my opinion is serving quantity is a little less as compared to prices so keep that in mind while ordering. Still my favourite place to eat. 👍

Best Chinese Hotel in Bahria Food Street A very nice and quiet place to hang out with friends and family. Good food and efficient service. Try the chefs recommended dishes, starting with their special soup.Although Kung pao chicken didn’t look like kung pao. It was full of raw cucumbers, carrots and peanuts. Fish was just ok. Staff was actively helpful. Awesome view The place is recommended for those who like spicy food and colourful environment for dine also who like to sit in quite and peaceful environment.

Chinese cousine and downside they have desi food. I went 1 time there with my friends for desi food. Sitting is simple they can improve. 1st raita was just like lassi n we changed that. We ordered bar bq platter, lamb chanps and chicken boneless. Chicken boneless chanps were good. Platter was also good but fish was so bad.

The ambience is good, and so is the food. They have me a Rs. 800 discount, so I have no reason to complain, except that the Hot and Sour soup had too much chicken meat. The location is excellent and this restaurant is nested among three other good restaurants. There is ample parking. All the restaurants/coffee shop in the vicinity deserve a visit. Bahria Phase 4 is coming up wonderfully, and this area is as good as any that I have seen in the US. Well done Bahria. I do not miss Islamabad anymore.

Nice little place for your basic Chinese food cravings.

The ambience is not upto the mark. Entering the restaurant gives a typical stereotype effect. It surely needs a modern renovation. Apart from the ambience, the staff at Silk Route is very cordial and keeps customers priority at top. The taste is okay neither bad neither good.

Probably one of the laziest staff Ive ever seen. It took them 1 hour and 20 mins to cook up an order for 5 persons. Apart from this staff felt like it was their 1st day. The location and the overall ambiance was good but its kind of pointless if you get your dinner after such a time. I would rate the food as 2.5/5 . Basing on the many Chinese restaurants Ive been to in pindi Islamabad. Another thing, the quantity of the food in relation to the prices is just plain outrageous. Overall , my first and the last visit ever.

Food quality is 3/5 .. ambience is OK !Waiters are professional but unable to handle large groups, soups are not recommended, Chilli dry is their speciality!
