Silk in San Juan

Nice decoration, good service, but food was not that great. The fried rice came cold, and its quality is not on par with the rest of the items on the menu. You can find much better fried rice in a Chinese fast food place. I will return in hopes that they improve on the food. Again, the service was excellent!!!

Worst experience, waiter didn’t acknowledge, food was burn and manager did nothing to fix it. Over price, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Ps, when asking the rice ask what temperature you like, mediums or well done.

Their spring rolls are tasty. Order gets taken pretty quickly but I have ordered a meat dish several times and they are 9/10 times out of temperature (room temperatureand not hot.

Impressive quality and selection of Chinese, Japanese, and Asian fusion dishes. Our half Chinese family was pleased and they have a great selection of gluten free options which is hard to find at most Chinese restaurants! We liked the Singapore noodles and the chicken and broccoli was a surprise hit. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming as well.

We were growing tired of deep fried Puerto Rican flare and decided to try Silk for something a bit healthier. Lol. We sat outside and the service was very prompt, very good and our server was upbeat and helpful. Everything we ordered was absolutely great. Not good... GREAT. I had pan fried pork dumplings (6), followed by steak kew. Omg! Best meal in eight days. Super melt in my mouth tenderloin tips and mixed vegetables.My wife had the seaweed salad and crispy double fried noodles. Awesome as well.Silk has something for everyone, sushi rolls, sushi, steaks, noodles etc. A very extensive wine and drink menu and good ambiance.All in all a great place to eat, gather and relax.Food is great, prices are very good, portions are plentiful and service is excellent. Recommended!

Very good food and huge portions! Reasonable prices and friendly service. Outside or inside seating. We had the Singapore noodles and the steak kew which were delicious! This was the best meal we had during our 7 day stay in San Juan.

The place looks tidy, great food, but there is one employee that is so rude that I was looking to take my daughter out to dinner there, but with the way this employee treats the patrons I will not spend a dime there.

Been living across the street for about a year now and finally decided to stop by and try out some of their food. I went during lunch time and was pleased to find that they did have a lunch special. I had shrimp fried rice and the tempura shrimp roll. Both were good…would advice that next time you remind the customer about soy sauce. Food was good but a little dry. I am from Cali and all of our food places automatically includes soy sauce so I didn’t even think to ask. The service other then that was great!

Drizzling day , we need to stop & have some tea, try to figure what best , my feeling going to right spot , we hop in nice ambiance friendly resto , right away we order jasmine tea while we read the menu , tea come with iron pot & small cup thats for sure serve tea more , ohh I love this & when I pour the tea its hot & fragrances, slowly then you know surprisingly I can get best tea in San Juan , for late lunch we order steamed ginger & scallions fish taste fresh & light , & vegetables lo mien fried noodle so good, also Asian steamed rice come with decent portions , waiter service is friendly , so I could see other guests some are regular guests, would happy to be back to enjoy tea again there & food for sure , keep your wonderful tea & good food

The food here is phenomenal and we had the best service we had anywhere in San Juan! We’re debating going back for the second night in a row- so good!

Delicious food! Waitresses were friendly and helpful particularly during these weird Covid season. The outside seating area needs more tables.

One of my favorite places for dinner and date nights. The chinese food here is really really good. One particular treat is the Fried Red Snapper. It usually comes with Sweet and Sour sauce, if you are nice and ask for it, sometimes theyll let you try it instead with other sauces. I love it with the General Tsos Sauce!

The food was good and the drinks were also good. The Peking pork chop had a different presentation than expected but was delicious. Customer service was great.

Ordered only drinks and sushi, so cant comment about the rest of the menu. On balance, my expectations were a lot higher based on the many positive reviews. We enjoyed the miso soup but the sushi was unremarkable, and one cocktail (lychee martiniwas a bit weak and came with crushed ice.

Best chinese food weve had all year 😋We got the duck, cashew chicken, and mandarin chicken and they were all good. Id recommend getting a meat and a vegetable dish and sharing

We stumbled upon this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Everything was very clean including the bathrooms. Service was excellent with all staff friendly and prompt. Cocktails(lychee martini and gin cocktaildelicious..... And not too sweet. The food we had was delicious and they even gave our 4 year old son a kids sushi fork to help him with the chopsticks. Highly recommend this place!

Great ambience, relaxing vibe, and great service and food. They have a great variety of meals, including Sushi, and various specialty plates you can try out. Always accompany my meals with a Sapporo Premium beer or one of their special cocktails. Highly recommended.

We stopped by Silk for lunch on our last day in PR hoping for a sushi fix. Our server, Melanie was absolutely amazing and very attentive. Unfortunately, the sushi was basically inedible. It tasted off and gave both of us weird vibes so we left most of it on the plate. However, the kung pao chicken was great. And the miso soup was different but delicious. We ended up spending around $100 on two inedible sushi rolls, kung pao chicken, and miso soup. So if you come here, stick to the cooked entrees. The sushi was the worst I’ve had. But service was amazing.

I must say that is one of the best Asian food restaurants. Everything was great. 100% recommended . P.S The food is to die for 👌

Decent Asian food, though a little expensive for the rather small portion sizes. Tuna sushi I had was very fresh and well prepared. Cocktails were great. The service was quick and attentive.

We love visiting Silk. This Asian cuisine restaurant always delivers a good experience for us. Service always is good. Food also is very nice. We specially like their sushi selection, the Mongolian Beef and the Steak Kew.

I must say that Silk is outstanding. The taste is fine as silk. I used to look for the best restaurants in Soho NYC. I had their duck, half portion. Had it with udong rice noodles with fresh vegetables. I later found out that they make Peking Duck if you order ahead.Their portions were generous and well priced.Try the super crazy roll with tempura. Angela was my server, who was knowledgeable and professional. The parking was accessible and they validate for an hour and a half.Highly recommended for a nice date or business lunch. Considered highest value for money as well as experience overall.

Our Server was great, but they do try to up-sell you on what you want. My Fiancé had to tell them several times she only wanted Beef instead of every meat so we weren’t charged much. I would call this place a tourist trap. Very over priced for food you could get at a very cheap Chinese restaurant. Quality of the sushi was amazing and fresh. But the entrees were not. The beef was not tender and had a dirty taste. Again the service was great. But the food was not.

Food was ok, General Tsos Chicken tastes like if you got McDonalds chicken nuggets and put spicy sweet n sour on top. A/C was cold.

The food was tasty and Alex our server was awesome. I had the Dragon and Phoenix with white rice. Id definitely head back there for some Asian cuisine.

We walked in without a reservation the hostess was kind and accommodating! Our server Juan was great. Friendly and attentive! Also the roast duck is a must order, but be prepared to share, its a big portion and irresistible.

The experience was amazing the people were nice and the food, well lets just say its the best food weve had in Puerto Rico so far and it looks like it was straight out of a movie so that was cool

Silk is definitely going to be on my top 5 for asian cuisine. This place has it all, great ambiance, amazing service and delicious food. Roasted duck was our favorite!

Best Sushi in all of Puerto Rico. I’ve tried many places since moving to the island and Silk puts them all on there back! Super fresh (the freshest sushi I have had since moving from DenverIncredibly professional service, and the atmosphere has an upscale relaxing vibe that will be missed until the next visit!

Originally, I planned to simply place a to-go order and take it back to my room. However, I knew I had to sit down and experience what Silk had to offer when I witnessed the aesthetic appeal and food preparation. I sat down by the bar, ordered an Old Fashion, and waited on my General Tao’s Chicken. Unfortunately, I was unable to take a picture of my meal because it smelt and looked amazing. Our fave place to eat Chinese & sushi in Santurce and Condado is also on Uber Eats. We’ve eaten here multiple times. NOTE: They were open on New Year’s Eve and had the regular menu, so cost four of us just $76 (including healthy tip). In the area, almost no restaurant is open and those that are, charge $100 per person. Bless you, Silk, and your kind hostess and excellent staff.

Beautiful atmosphere and good location. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The chinese dishes as well as the sushi are fresh and delicious. I went two nights in a row while staying at the double tree hotel next door. I would highly recommend. Prices are reasonable.

The American Chinese food here was tasty. Much better than we expected. Our server was very friendly. I would recommend this place.

This was my first time trying the eel and it was delicious also the tempura salmon roll was incredibly fresh and tasty. The dumplings where on point and no complaints on table service. Very very comfortable atmosphere. And I definitely recommend the black tea cake for desert.
