Very bad experience at this bar1. We made a reservation by phone call a week in advance but they simply missed it.2. Menu is creative but extremely hard to understand. Very user unfriendly3. Waiter is not very friendly. I wanted to ask more about what sort of drink I may like but I decided not to interact with him more because of his unfriendly face.

The drinks are delicious and staffs in the hidden bar are very very friendly but there are two staffs (female with short hair and a guy with glassfrom sidebar are very very rude. My friends and I are all working with service industry so we understand but they really shouldn’t treat people like that. I think they need to be educated well to be working with the service industry.

So good we visited twice in one night. The first visit was at the bar up front. Our second visit was for the Gin speakeasy in the back. Both experiences were great, but we really enjoyed the Gin speakeasy. The staff was kind, helpful and provided an excellent experience. We will return soon!

My foreigner colleague highly recommends this place, “must go to the speakeasy bar in sidebar”, he said.Not a gin lover but I really like the atmosphere and interior design. It’s great for smaller group of ppl if u want to chat, me and my two friends went there, I had to shout to them across the table so they can hear me clearly.Drink is nice, I ordered a Vesper with basic tone of a British gin which tastes a bit like curry. Interesting drink though I still don’t get the differences between Martini and Vesper, perhaps Vesper goes smoother (no wonder it feels like drinking water, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s too light—it’s quite heavy, just that something is missing, the taste is not rich enough.)Overall, it’s a good experience and I would recommend to my friends:)

A hip bar located in a relatively quiet street. This is definitely the place to hang out if you love gin - ordered silver gin fizz and gin tonic with monkey 47. Overall great experience and will definitely come here again.

Almost didnt go. Almost missed an experience. Sidebar was a great, industrial cocktail bar in and of itself. But the real magic is behind the bar at the Museu Del Gin. Gorgeous, intimate space with an astonishing Gin collection, and equally astonishingly knowledgeable bartenders. I kind of hate Gin, but like Gin cocktails, and I loved this experience. I did spin the wheel, but learning that I was on a Genever exploration kick, I was treated to a wider selection of Genever than I even knew existed, followed by a great cocktail (followed by eating all of the things at the Raohe night market).

Not meant for big parties - we had a party of 12 and it took on average 1-1.5 hours to get a few food and drink items. They also charge an additional fee (separate from the service feeif you have larger parties. They did not share this information with us when we made the reservation initially, but added it to the bill when we were leaving.This spot is probably more suited for parties of 4 or less.

Love the interior design and the concept of the whole environment and cocktail,different kind of gin based cocktails. Meals and tapas are available, too bad I am too full for it at the moment. Staffs are extremely helpful too. Overall it is quite satisfying.

A bar with a modern industrial look adorned with neon light fixture. Cocktails are mostly, if not all, gin-based that is $400 or $450(US$13-15）. Food is served too. The beer I ordered cost $300 which is a bit steep. It would be nice if they listed the price on the board or on the menu.The appetizer we ordered was forgotten and we did not ask for it. At the end it was still brought to us, free of charge. So that’s good.

I accidentally came here for a drink but it really exceeded my expectation. The bartenders were very friendly and they put effort explaining me about my drinks. They even showed me a secret room for gin lovers ( password required ). You should try traditional food of the bar, it was really tasty tho!! Highly recommend

Came to this place through the game of Bar Surfing and I enjoyed bartenders lovely service a lot! I heard theres a small hidden place full of gin in the back of the bar but I forgot to visit there! Dont forget to do so when you visit this bar. Enjoy! :)

its the perfect bar in taipei. cocktails are flawless. superior bartenders and everyone is cute. might be a bit hard to find. they keep a pretty low profile. close to night market, which is another big plus. classy.

Good gin, staff friendly. There are some visiting bartenders from around the world and famous bar provide excellent and special drinks. BTW bartenders and staffs are handsome, cute and nice.

Hands down my favorite Gin bar.Yung-Pei Kao is the sweetest bar tender. He made my drinks to perfection while teaching me more about Gin. I’ve always been passionate about Gin, but he showed me the different nodes that gets brought out at different Gin locations.My official favorite is the rose water from South Africa. He made me a off-menu drink with egg whites and raspberry. I would 100% recommend it for those who don’t like too sweet drinks and prefer floral favorite things.The vibes are pretty chill during the weekday, I didn’t have to wait too long for my drink and I had space to talk.Other drinks I tried: Aviation (tasted blue :Pand Old Fashion Twist (tasted like yummy apple pie)Overall, very clean place with a nice theme and great drinks.I came back here for a second time and this time I made reservations for the inside bar. You get a special code to get in there and its really cozy inside. You cant have groups with more than 4 people. They let you do gin tastings over here.This time, the bartender asked me what kind of drink Id like. I told them anything with egg-white and sour. He brought out different gins for us to taste in. I was with 3 other people so ended up having around 7 gin bottles with tasting glasses.I ended up ordering a drink with the yuzu gin from Japan. It was delicious!

80/100 staff were quite friendly, but I think they’re still fixing some menu so it was a bit overwhelmed for them to accommodate large party at once, drink are quite decent, food however are quite overpriced
