Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar in Sevilla

We loved this place! We had chicken skewers, sushi rolls, and udon type noodle bowl. Menzie wine is delicious! Go enjoy but make a reservation!

Where to begin ?Beyond awful in almost every aspect !The decor looks like the inside of a unfinished Ikea crate . “Urban”? More abandoned building squat.“Urban” Sushi ? Try mini cream cheese cones with wrapped with micro slices of fish and other travesties using the cheapest possible ingredients.The “ Sashimi “ was cooked and again very thin slices.No Cocktails available - bartender was MIA.Only one beer of offer.Bottled water at room temperature and no ice.The service was abysmal!Digital menus do not work, only one menu for 4 people. And ridiculous wait time for not even gas station grade sushi prepared and served by people who obviously failed their high school hospitality training classes.Overall N abysmal concept trying to be ultra hip,poor food , and people over their head trying to serve it up . Prices are very high for what you get -AVOID !!Qualifies as one of the most pathetic and awful places I have ever eaten in and that is saying a lot!!

the worst sushi i have ever eaten, the tuna looked old and tasted old. The seaweed sheets were super dry and a weird liquid came out of the sushi

Disgusting combos with a kind of cream cheese, a shame to the perfection of Japanese cuisine. Go to hiyoki instead which for 2 euros less has a combo that tastes the same as real sushis from a little Japanese harbour. They also make you pay the glass of water without saying it.

One day we wanted a little different food in Spain so we went to Shibuya Sushi and we didnt regret it. All the food was really fresh and tasty. The place itself was very nice as well and the service was good. Highly Recommended!

The staff was very kind and the restaurant was very nice. We ordered the chicken noodles but were disappointed when it barely had any chicken and was too salty. We also ordered other sushi rolls but the fish was sliced very thinly. Overall, it was delicious, but could be done better.

Decent sushi place with a nice atmosphere. However, the takoyaki was served with one piece piping hot, while the other three pieces on the plate were cold, this was rather unappealing. On the flip side, the gyoza was delicious and the sushi selection was plentiful.

Good quality sushi with a diverse menu. Dont forget to order the flamed sushi rolls as this looks pretty spectacular.

Macarena was super friendly and seemed like an experienced waitress. She chose a wine for us that paired well with the sushi. It was a busy night and she was still on her game. Food was excellent. The flaming rolls were super unique and fun.

Funky Japanese with tasty dishes that kept our mouth watering for hours!

Definitely do not recommend.The sashimi tuna were fresh - but that’s it. The sushi were not really sushi and all fell apart as soon as it’s picked up. The noodles dish were just haphazardly tossed together and was overly salty. We also didn’t experience the exceptional service that the fellow reviewers were claiming.Do not recommend as the price tag does not correlate with the food quality or service provided

Very disappointing experience.Sushi was mediocre - unrolling easily.Sumonomo salad was too sour for its flavour profile.Sashimi was warm when served.Service was just OK.Would recommend going elsewhere.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Sevilla! Welcoming environment. Friendly and informative team. Delicious 😋 sushi served fresh and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the recommended house white with our Freestyle Platter, Salmon California, Maki Tuna & Ebi Bao. A great place for a special event or to take a date.

First the server took a while to come to the table. The wifi wasn’t working well so we couldn’t access the menu for a while. When we were ready the server took forever again. We ordered a bottle of Cava and when we were ordering food and drinking the sparkling wine she told us we only have a total of 90 minutes to finish. That was 25 minutes into us sitting at the table. We didn’t find it very inviting or creating a comfortable ambience, especially when we ordered a bottle and now we were feeling rushed. Service was slow and not good. Server never came to pour us more, we had to do it ourselves, she was just an order taker. Sushi is good for European standard. Overall I would expect better service from a high TripAdvisor rated restaurant.

Food didnt arrive, delivery driver broke down, kitchen closed, all other restaurants shut, sounds like the making of a terrible review. However, this restaurant dont go down like that. The manager made them prepare a fresh order and cycled it over to our apartment himself and on top of that he didnt charge us due to the mess up. That was above and beyond in my book. Not to mention how amazing the food is. Have had it before and will be having it again. Excellent food, excellent service and a well deserved tip. Thanks again!!!

Went there for dinner tonight, we didn’t have a reservation but we got a table outside. The food was very good and our waitress Jordan was very friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed the evening.

One of the best meals Ive had ever!!! Jordan was absolutely lovely serving us. Food arrived very quickly considering how busy it was. Just amazing!!!

This was a great experience. The seaweed salad and miso was wonderful. I chose chefs choice and it was lovely. The service from Daniel was amazing. He was funny, attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant I. The land of tapas.

We loved this place for sushi and a nice date night! Our waitress, Jordan, was incredibly friendly and provided great service. We started with a bao and seaweed salad, then got three rolls and it was the perfect amount of food and each dish was better than the last. The flaming rolls come out on a bed of flames, cooked fresh by our waitress. Would come again!

Sushi better than our expectationsWe had our last night in Seville, and wanted to go to a nice sushi restaurant, and we succed. The sushi was very tasty and fresh. The service was on a high level, a shot out to the waiter Daniel. We can recommend this restaurant.

Such a delightful meal, with a great selection of sushi and sides.Service was fab. We arrived without a booking and the floor manager was able to work his magic and find us a seat in their fully booked evening. Table service was on point, friendly staff willing to help explain the dishes all with a smile.Food was delicious. We (party of 4ordered the freestyle dish, niguiri lovers special, seaweed salad, takoyaki octopus balls and accidentally ordered the i return the salad... All of which were great. The takoyaki were done perfectly fluffy and with well balanced sauce and complete with the fish flakes, the niguiri have a nice mix of different flavours and seafood (prawn, unagi, salmon, tuna and butterfish). The freestyle dish was a perfect variety, taster of all different styles and the seaweed salad competed the meal nicely. The other i return the salad dish was a very pleasant surprise, refreshing after the many rich flavours of Spanish tapas.The only very minor downside was, we werent able to top up or teapots with hot water - which is so strange, and feels like such a water given the tea was so fragrant. At least serve in bigger teapots if refills are not allowed.Aside from that, I would definitely recommend, but be sure to book ahead, as there were also people outside waiting for a table as we left. One of the better Japanese restaurants Ive visited at this price range on this side of Europe. Reasonably priced and good food.Thank you

Wow, the most incredible sushi bar in the whole of Spain. Amazing experience from the first step inside until the moment you realize that you are done. And the food, ❤️.

This place had great style, friendly staff, a lovely mood, and sweet messages on the table for our special occasion, but was let down by some of the food.A lot of the sushi had cream cheese in, which completely dominated the flavour. It was like eating decorative cream cheese, not sushi. Its not something Id ever seen put into a sushi roll before.That said, the rolls they had without cream cheese were very nice.If you dont want to pay a lot to just taste cream cheese, go for something else on the menu.

Best sushi ever! We had Freestyle, Top Sibuya and the Sake Sibuya and i highly recommend the last two! The sake shot was disappointing as it was our first time drinking sake ( and probably the last), but the Japanese beer is really good. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality and the food touches all your senses. This restaurant is the best choice for amazing food, nice atmosphere and very good service, our waitress Jordan was very nice and took time to explain us everything.

The ultimate sushi experience!Ive had there one of the best- if the not the best- sushi meals in my life!They have very creative rolls, especially the flamed ones with an amazing smoky taste, they come on fire in foil and are to die for.We first went there on the night we were leaving and came back the next day hours before our flight to say goodbye to Spain with this unforgettable sushi rolls. Staff are really nice and welcoming.Thank you guys, you are great!

We had the Giosas as starter. For main dishes we ordered Maki Volcano and Maki salmon. All was delicious. They have one of my favorite wines there which you should try, its called Ramon Bilbao (crianza). The reserva is good too but crianza is my fav. I recommend making a reservation.

The best sushi place so far in Sevilla! We struggling for a year now to find a nice sushi restaurant, (I dont know its so hard to avoid salad sauce on sushi lately!the taste is delicate, definitely innovative and the fish is delicious! I like the restaurant style even if a bit noisy when its full. I definitely recommend! Desserts are not that crazy but sushi will be enough!

Got chefs plate with combination of all kinds of sushi. Out of 8 pieces of 28, they were 1cm diameter mini avocado maki and fake crab meat Maki. The rest of the stuff was just all salmon rolls + salmon sashimi + shrimp sushi that had so much rice.. three times the typical amount. That shrimp sushi were the only sushi, just some more salmon sashimi and all rolls filled with salmon ...

This sushi bar is a well planned charming place with a slightly cute decoration. Their food is delicious. It may look expensive, but as soon as you get it your plate lives up to the price.

One of the very few good restaurants we have tried during 10 days stay in the south of spain. Food was so good, english menu available and staff are welcoming and speak english. Even without reservation we were seated, the only this is that 8 pcs of each sushi plate is a bit too much and would limit your ability to taste more plates.

Lovely food, great sushi and fresh fish. Underground dish is amazing.A little slow the service, taking in count that the restaurant was almost empty and we ordered mainly sushi. Could do with a bit more receptive waiters, otherwise the food is great. Amanda was a great waitress, but the rest were either on their phone or couldnt be bothered to check on the tables or be putting a smile on their face when greeting the customers.
