Inventive Asian-fusion dishes are presented in a stylish setting with a full bar & live jazz nights.
Great food full of flavors! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice for family or just a one on one date. Fabulous experience!!
Love this place, the ambiance and the service is on point frequented once a month with my besties. Twice a month solo carry out for myself. The basil fried rice is far my favorite and definitely getting a sip or two…lol
What awesome place, and an even greater menu. This is, now, my favorite restaurant... cant wait to go back!
I didnt like the crab egg rolls at all. The pad Thai was good definitely not nearly the best Ive had.
I really enjoyed Siam Marina! It was really nice to have an Asian fusion restaurant on the South Side. The menu was creative and combined Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese, food prepared with some French techniques. There was a nice variety of hot and cold appetizers, shared plates, and Entrees. I really enjoyed the Crispy Crab Ragoon style fried rolls and the Spring Rolls as well! The Branzino was cooked perfectly too. It was so nice to have a variety of Polynesian cocktails on the menu too! The owners were very nice and hospitable people who made you feel at home and the overall service was great! I highly recommend Siam Marina!
Truly amazing food and staff. Highly recommend. Also...they have a couple of robots that bring orders! I was giddy!
I ordered the sesame chicken , hot and spicy chicken, and garlic chicken . First of all the hot and spicy chicken was dry and tasteless. The sesame chicken was moist and good . And the garlic had a nice flavor to it but lacked sauce . For those of you who like sauce I would ask for extra . Also I ordered the spice level to be hot and you couldn’t taste any spice at all . And the Thai chicken egg roll was dry too.
Today is my birthday my friend surprised me and took me to this wonderful old-style Italian restaurant. The food was very flavorful and the portions were great.
Always great food. Beautiful inside. Extensive dinner menu.
Was highly recommended by some that frequents often. The food was delicious & will return in the future! Our server David was really nice! Ordered a lot of different food and forgot to take photos.
Today was my first time going and I love the Pho with shrimp and pomegranate martini! The restaurant decor is really nice and comforting. Also, the waitress is so beautiful, friendly and attentive. When I go back, Im definitely tipping more if shes there lol. ❤️
Great atmosphere...Drinks are worth every penny not one bad drink...favorite Drinks are Asian Pear and Carmel Apple Taffy..favorite entree Pineapple fried rice Mango Short Ribs..
Has the spicy lemongrass beef with white rice and it was the perfect size meal. Enjoyed a thai iced tea as well.
Food was great. Very large portions - enough for leftovers. Service was excellent even right before closing time.
Nice place. Wasnt crowded for our Daddy/Daughter Day. The Roll Me Out Platter of all the Crispy Rolls is a must try. The sauces are AMAZING!! I enjoyed my Asian Pear Martini and Dad had the tea. Will be going back.
This place is phenomenal. The menu is different and the drinks are good! The atmosphere is very serene and calming. The staff is very friendly. I recommend, you wont be disappointed.
The food here is absolutely delicious! Tammy and her team never fail when it comes to the quality of the food! Make sure you try a martini!
This is not Thai food. The Tom Yum had too much fish sauce, was sweet and had a lot of chunky meat pieces (almost half a cupthat were chewy. The hot spicy chicken was not appetizing at all. Huge portion with too much chunky pieces of meat. Bamboo shoots and large pieces of green peppers just made it worse to work through. It was also excessively salty which along with the mixed in fish sauce and garlic overpowered the overall dish. The rice twice was hard to chew as it must have sitting in the rice cooker for a long time.Thai food is supposed to flavorful with delicate pieces of meat and everything kept in balance. This felt like the sauce and soup was pre made and then large pieces of meat were cut, blanched and tossed in with canned vegetables (bamboo shoots). Not worth the spend.
First time here, and I must say....Ill be back again!! The menu is extremely diverse, theres something here for everyone. The mango short ribs were my choice tonight, and they did not disappoint 😋!!! Make sure to try their huge selection of martinis, they are a definite hit!!!!
Flavorful foods, great service and nice cocktails. You can always depend on the same great service and flavors.
Really great service. Good cocktails, loved the Bangkok Punch. Food was really good, serving sizes were great. So much food. One entree equaled at least 2-3 servings.
Their tasting menu is simply amazing: They dig into different food styles, using novel techniques and delivering great results.
We absolutely loved it. The service was beyond just about any restaurant wed ever been to. Every dish was exquisite.
Great food, over inflated staff. Our waitress was very friendly up until closing time when she had to go to the front desk, in which she started to ignore us and give us the cold shoulder for some strange reason. The owner/manager was giving a long food tour to either family or secret food critics and sitting there for hours giving them the special treatment in front of every other customer. Definitely didnt get that "special treatment" when I was there😒😒
We had dinner here. The Pad Thai noodles and the sampler spring roll platter were excellent. The platter had so much, we almost didn’t order the noodles but they were so delicious we took the rest home. Oh, and their drinks menu is outstanding.
My husband and I went there to celebrate my promotion at work. We had a goooooood time and we will be going back. The food, drinks was very good and our waitresses was very sweet. When I asked her to take a picture of us, she did.
We were invited here for a seminar a for work related subject. We were unsure about what to expect since we scoped out the menu first and didnt see anything that was in the realm of what we usually go for, and my coworker is allergic to seafood. But we went anyways and to our surprise, the food was delicious. You definitely have to get the crispy asparagus spring rolls. And you cant go wrong with any of the drinks. The place was clean. The staff was extremely friendly. The prices are a little bit on the higher end. But Definitely a place to check out.
Lizeth was such a delightful and attentive server. The ambiance and cocktail selection are well matched with venues in the city. Food was delicious and always consistent. Both locations are ideally matched, just depends on where you are traveling from.
Absolutely delicious. Restaurant clean and beautiful. Service was excellent. Went there for our anniversary, will definitely go back!
The inside of the restaurant is so pretty. The food is outstanding. I’m not much of a Thai person, but this was probably the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. The spices were exquisite!
For lunch yesterday, my friend and I ordered seafood crispy rolls and coconut soup. She had chicken with hers and I chose tofu for mine. This is how soup is supposed to taste. So much flavor and it was filling because we were both full afterwards. Can’t wait to come back a third time to this place
Siam Marina is hands down the best Thai / American Fusion restaurant in the area.So on Valentine’s Day I wanted my favorite Siam Marina dish.So I tried to get a few friends and fam to join me but no one could. Its ok tho, it wouldnt be the first or the last time I showed up at the bar there and had a wonderful dinner by myself. ☺️Sam - extraordinary bartender and owner - saw me and handed me the abbreviated menu and said “I think what you want is not on the menu tonight because of specials, but I will make you whatever you want.” He made my Moussaman Curry just the way I like and made me feel special.I felt so special on V-day and ultimately the good energy and love from a place I know I am always welcome!Thank you, Sam & Tony and Tammy- not just for last night but for every time I come to Siam Marina.Your food and drinks are good for my soul and your energy is palpable. I felt the love. ♥️
The restaurant raised their prices since my last visit. The average cost for a dinner entrée is $30. Some dishes had great flavor, and others needed help. The ambiance was terrific. However, at $30 per plate, I expect a seasoned, more mature server who is attentive to the table. What we received was an average server who, at times, was non-existent. This evening could have been exceptional had we had better service.
It was really good. The service was excellent. We met the owner briefly and she was very nice. I would definitely come back.
Oh my God I was in food heaven. This was different for me. They have tons of food choices. I did not know what to eat, but my friend had dined here two weeks before. So we tried a few appetizers. Oh my God (yes, I said it again). This food is so good. It looks fabulous, and will melt your taste buds because it is so delicious. I will certainly be back to have that ribeye!
Delicious food! My 3rd visit. You must try.
The staff was very professional and their hands were very clean. Reasonably priced for chef plate status. The mixed drinks were on point. I would definitely stay away from their mashed potatoes. The texture was chalky and extremely bland! Their fried rice dishes were excellent. While the staff was wonderful. I found it funny that they asked frequently how the food was for each plate she brought out. 90% of the time I had no complaints except one dish. I didnt like how the bananas mixed in with the curry duck( thats on my taste buds not the chefs wrongdoing!). When I did tell the waitress I couldnt eat it she didnt take it off. I understood though. Just a fair warning ⚠️ if you dont like something this aint the type of joint to take it of the tab. Buyer beware, but other that everything was great 👍
The food and atmosphere were great, I used to visit all the time when they were in Calumet City. Jackie or Jessica our server didnt come to our table for about 15 minutes after we were seated, and I had ask another server about our server. She wasnt as attentive as she should have been.
Great ambiance. It was our first night out in a while and I think one of the first days they were doing in door dining. Wasnt crowded which was nice. Server didnt rush us at all which was great. We had calamari and asparagus crab soup. We got the flank steak and five spiced duck. It was my first time trying duck, I thought I was going to be crispy but it wasnt. I wasnt much a fan but the fried rice it came with was good. The flank steak was really good. Definately a unique menu, cant wait to come back and try some pad thai!
This fusion restaurant sits in my top 5 ! I have traveled the world and have been involved in some of the finest casino remodels in Las Vegas the decor has been well planned and executed! By far the Top food ive eaten in any Chicago restaurant and we will be continuous patrons! Try the MyThai and shrimp pad thai ! Definitely a high point of our visit !!Thank you for a wonderful dining experienceRick Bullis
Been awhile since weve been out to a sit down spot... Beautiful nite, beautiful outdoor sitting with very good social distancing and of course exactly food... If there was a knock the sangria was ok, needed to marinate a bit more
Omg "" I so love this Place there food is Soooov goodThey use to be by Riveroaks mall inCalumet city but they movedI was so upsetit took me 4yrs to find them but I found themthere food & Service is worth searching for there that goodyou have to try this place its fancy but you dont have to beDress to be comfortable cause your going to need that extra space when trying to eat all this foodThey give you alot you wont be disappointed Enjoy ""
The food was made fresh to order and tasted delicious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. I would recommend this establishment and plan to visit again in the near future.
We will be back!!! Fabulous Thai and French fusion food. Very extensive menu, nicely plated. Pictured food is lobster and mango spring roll, chicken and vegetable stir fry and outstanding duck banana coconut curry.
Siam Marina was our new birthday spot and this was a great new addition. Lovely ambiance, wonderful staff, and the food was beyond tasty. If you are worried about prices, dont. Youll always have food to take home for later! Please have an event or date here, it will be a place to remember. 10/10!
The food was absolutely amazing! Everything! I have no complaints. My drink was delicious as well!
First visit and the food was amazing. I have no complaints about the service either. Our waiter was generous and came by to check in a couple times on how everything was and if we needed anything else. Its slightly on the expensive side for a thai place but The portions are pretty big. We had ours to go too. I took the masaman curry and my husband took the meat lovers. Both of them had great taste and and apt spice level that we requested for. Will definitely be coming back
HUGE menu with something for everyone, including dishes you wont typically find elsewhere. Great ambience and friendly service.
The Samgria is literally to die for its delicious. The pork meatballs were really amazing too. They could have had that be an entree with rice and Id be a happy camper. The mahi mahi was good, the sauce was tasty but the fish was slightly chewy and tough. But only around the edges I found. The interior is beautiful, but I wish they would have the phone at the hostess stand a little quieter. It was super loud and a slight annoyance when it would go off every 5 or 10 minutes. This isnt to say you shouldnt go because of the phone, more like a note to management. Our server was very nice and service was good.
Let me start by saying that it was difficult to find the location since the sign isnt noticeable. The atmosphere is nice. It was pretty empty when we got there so we were glad about that thinking we would get great personalized service. Boy were we wrong! Service was slow, practically nonexistent. No one ever came over to the table and gave us the, "Welcome to Siam Marina..." spill. Its like our order was always taken in passing. The food was mediocre for the prices they charge. Probably wont be going back...
