Short staffed and my significant other watched me eat my dinner because they forgot her meal.Our waitress was great!The people who was in the cooking area seemed very unorganized.Everybodys food was messed up or forgot a whole meal.This was for SWEETEST DAY

The staff was very pleasant and professional. All three of us had the salmon and it was just ok. I would not order it again.The waiter was very attentive.

Cool little hangout in the hotel. The bartender Dazia (I thinkwas so nice and attentive. The morning staff for breakfast were so nice and professional.

Not terrible, food was overpriced. Ive gotten a better burger at Red Robin for $8.00 less. Service was very good though

The food was just okay, nothing was exciting to any of us. Unfortunately, everybody thought something was wrong with at least a portion of their meals.

Our server Darrin was amazing. The food and appetizers were so tasty. If you go there to eat,I highly recommend you ask to sit in Darrin’s section,everything will be 100% done correctly.

Fast service and the staff was friendly.Food was good. My steak was overcooked, but they fired a new one immediately and the second one was perfect!

Food was not hot. There was only one server for entire restaurant and she did an excellent job.

My connecting flight was canceled and American Airlines put me up at the doubletree. Had dinner here(thanks for the $12 food voucher American, totally didnt even come close to buying a single entree). The food and friendly staff definitely helped to make up for the abysmal experience with American Airlines.

Sucks over price .Rain came in and flooded floor where we were sitting didnt offer to move use. Never go back again bad experience all around.

Tonight we arrived to Shula’s at 8:15pm unaware that the kitchen closed at 8:30pm;They seated us with no problem,smiles on their faces and made us feel welcome.Our server,Darren,was as professional as they come.He was friendly and we had zero issues with our order.The food was EXCELLENT!!! Better than expected… we are already talking about coming back!Thanks for not turning us away 15 before you closed! We appreciated it :)

I searched on OpenTable for Mother’s Day reservations. I made one for Sunday, May 8 at 10:30am. I then searched the menu and noticed that they aren’t open for brunch so I called to ask if they have a special Mother’s Day brunch menu. The man that answered the phone said ‘we aren’t open for brunch.’ I then asked ‘are you maybe having a special Mother’s Day brunch?’ He said ‘no we are very short staffed.’ I said ‘well that’s a problem and it shouldn’t be on OpenTable allowing people to make reservations. People will show up on Mother’s Day.’ His response ‘it doesn’t matter because no one will be here.’I then told him that was a terrible attitude to have and he said ‘we are so short staffed we haven’t crossed our T’s and dotted our I’s yet’

Great food and service...ate at the bar. Had NY Strip Steak with 🍟 my wife had mushroom 🍔. Both excellent.

It was early, service was fantastic. With reservations we got to choose a high top in the bar. Far better service than we expected! Food was excellent, absolutely nothing for picky me to complain about. The only thing Big Daddy had to complain about was no bread, nor did he ask for bread or rolls.

We have called multiple times to inquire about reservations for a birthday party to no avail. The first few people were really nice but there was someone that was asking if we had the money it was really expensive. We never received a call back from the planner at all to check prices or menu for a party of 15. Horrible service

I ordered the swordfish, which is supposed to be tender. It was not. It was tough, which it is not supposed to be. The good part is they let me order something else. I ordered a spinach strawberry salad that also had candied pecans, dried cranberries and feta cheese. It was delicious!

Food & atmosphere was delightful didnt have to leave the hotel to go out in the cold somewhere for dinner

Cebrated my birthday. I had Voodoo pasta, husband had a steak. Both were perfectly delicious. Would have given 5 stars if we werent seated next to office meeting. There were 2 tables seated us and them 🤔

Horrible experience. Do not go here!!Food took FAR too long for our party of 5 when we were the only people in the restaurant, about 45 mins. The server/bartender, Dom, didn’t want to split our checks, so she told us that she couldn’t & then when someone in our party was making a suggestion to mention that “rule” in the beginning of service, she said “she doesn’t have to”. She began arguing with us while we spoke calmly to her & said she doesn’t like “how our people treat each other” as if it were a race issue, which it wasn’t on our end. After leaving the table, she came back to argue saying that she could “quit right now because she has 18 jobs”. When I was trying to explain where the miscommunication happened, she started talking over me and arguing with me. As we left, she sarcastically said “God bless you” and someone in our party sincerely said “God bless you too” and she accused us of being sarcastic. Terrible food, terrible service. I do not recommend it this place at all.

Very nice staff & hostess & really good food but keep in mind its a lil pricey but you will enjoy yourself & they have a bar too...

We reserved the private room for our party of 10, and although half our party cancelled the staff adapted and treated us courteously and professionally. Our server, Barb, was the best. She made us feel like we were her only customers, but I later found her cleaning tables and serving many other customers in the dining room. Her attention to detail was impressive, but what made her so enjoyable as a server was her pleasant demeanor and sense of humor. Our experience was terrific and we will be back again soon.

Waitress was excellent lets start with that. Also the akron blackberry wine was phenomenal. But....Went on a Friday at 630 and there were only 5 tables taken so that shoulda been a sign. Spinach artichoke dip was old and definitely tasted microwaved. 42 dollars for a ribeye diner is high but not outrageous for a excellent steak but this is was not. Full of fat and tasted old for sure, baked potato was for sure not made the day of dinner service. Kinda drab inside. probably wont return after it was lackluster and 108 buck for 2 people.

Fantastic restaurant. Steaks done to the right wellness we ordered. Burger was juicy and flavorful.The steak burger was surprisingly good. It takes a good chef to turn a NY strip to a good steak, but it takes a great chef to turn cheap cut (sirloin?to a tender flavor bomb. And they did it. Photo doesnt do justice on this dish.The server was attentive. Overall I highly recommend this place.

I wish I could give this “restaurant” zero stars. Service was terrible and food was mediocre. We sit at our table for 20-30 mins and had to ask several times for water. Waited a while for our appetizer then food. Server was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. No manager was on site. My party spent over $300 in this restaurant. I would NOT recommend this restaurant or visit again.

If I could, I would give ZERO stars! Ordered voodoo pasta, it was off. Texture & taste was weird. The potato skins were fair but Ive had better. The waitress was disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and ill-equipped for hosting a group. Food was overpriced. Most alcoholic beverages were unavailable. I ordered a sangria, server suggested a pitcher. It was mostly ice & costs $27! The food is average. The service is horrible. Never will I ever visit again!

We visited Shula’s 2 in Cleveland for Valentines weekend 2021 and can’t compliment the staff enough for their friendly service and attention to details. We also ate at Shula’s 2 on Valentines weekend 2020 and couldn’t wait to return because the filets were so good. Last year, my wife said it was the best fillet she ever had. This time we invited some friends to join us because of the great meals we had last year. Mary Jo was our host and our waitress was Brittany and they went both out of their way to accommodate all of our requests. I would also like to compliment the chef to the best cooked filets that we ever had. It was seasoned perfect and the temperature was cooked exactly as everyone requested. We had a party of 4 and everyone ordered the Filet Oscar with different cooking temps from medium well to rare. Everyone in our party couldn’t stop talking about how great the fillets tasted and how perfectly they were cooked. In addition, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent as well. Since we were catching up with friends, we talked at our table long past closing time, but they never tried to rush us out or tell us that it was time to leave.Since we stayed overnight at The Doubletree Hotel, we also had breakfast the next morning at Shula’s. We arrived a little bit late when they were ready to close but Mary Jo was nice enough to seat us anyway which delayed their closing out and causing everyone to get out a little later. We enjoyed our meals so much, that we ordered the filets again later that night for take out and it tasted as great as the night before. If you are looking for a great meal at a great price and friendly service, Shula’s 2 located in the Double Tree hotel in Independence Cleveland is a great spot. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. We may make a special trip for those filets even if we are not in the area. Thanks so much for making our Valentines weekend extra special. Also a special thank you to the Double Tree staff Angela and Sheila. They also provided friendly customer service. Best steak I ever had. It was absolutely amazing! The service was great, and margaritas were strong! Definitely want to come back.

Good service, had the shulas cut strip, it looked unimpressive, poor seasoning and was very overcooked and dry...unacceptable for the price! I had a cocktail, very well made! But when you go to a steakhouse, the steak should be much better than one you can make yourself!

Went there for valentines day had a reservation was seated very quickly but waited for 1 hour 45 minutes for shrimp and pasta and a burger. The burger was beyond under cooked and the shrimp was over cooked. They refunded us the money for our meal but we were very disappointed and ended up going to another restaurant to eat.

We visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening (around 6pmand it was not busy at all. I had the 14 oz Shula Cut Ribeye and it was excellent! Cooked tender and just the way I ordered it. Came with 2 sides + bread. Nice dining room with football memorabilia from Don Shulas NFL coaching career. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent! Been here multiple times. Had the New You Strip and Ribeye. Now I dont know what to get because they are both really good. Their fries are really good, but they said they stopped selling their great onion Rings. That was my only disappointment.

Barb our server did a great job. Rib special was good and my strip excellent. Drinks were served quickly and food came out quick and efficient as well.

My family and I visited for the Mother’s Day Brunch and for my Mother in Laws’ birthday earlier this month too... then, I my work had a business meeting there earlier this week! All times the food was delicious and the service was remarkable. Mary Jo was a delight, Richard made me the best Vegetable omelette, and Mark the Server, was great too! We just found a new place to eat.

Did not appreciate the gratuity being added when we had only 3 at our table , I believe it was racially motivated . I always tip and more than 18% but I dont want you to add it without my knowledge and tell me when you bring me the bill. I had the manager take it off my bill and I tipped the 22% that I was going to on my own. I am so tired of places who give black patrons bad service just because the last black family didnt tip , I usually start with the tip but because it was a buffet then you really didnt have to work that hard . I will not return and they need to learn to treat people as they are treated with respect . 🙋🏾‍♀️

Went on Saturday 4/6 for my birthday was absolutely delicious. We both got strip steaks. Also love that their salad is not skimpy...was really good! Will definitely be back.

Nice place to eat with bar and restaurant foods. Beer, liquor and wine was pretty pricey but the food was pretty good. I had their wings which had good flavor, were meaty, although I would have preferred them to be hotter. My wife had the medallions and were overcooked (ordered medium rare and got barely any pink. Decent flavor and was juicy. Daughter had fish and chips which were top notch! Son had a kids burger which was way over done but the waitress switched it out with no issues. Waiter/waitresses seemed pretty attentive with all tables. Food was pretty pricey as well but overall I give them a 3 out of 5 mostly for overpricing. 2 adults and 2 kids with 2 beers and 1 wine was 135 bucks. If the pricing came down I would give 4 stars.

Service was perfect. Darren was on top of it, efficient, and our glasses were always full. The burger was one of the best Ive ever had. Very happy and ready to go back.

While the food, and service, were second to none tonight...the clientele here, is absolutely awful. Every table around us complaining about their coupons, their meals AFTER eating it, etc. Unfortunately I will never return here because of our experience. The management really need to resolve complaints on their first visit to the table. Tables on each side of us, had the manager there multiple times. Issues that should have been resolved in one visit, had been dragged out over numerous vists to tables. It really ruined our evening... and its a shame. Everything else was a solid 9 out of 10. Food and service were exceptional.

Our club meets there regularly. Wonderful service, good food, although some portions are football player size. Limited but very acceptable beer selection. We really enjoy the restaurant.

Wow I can not put in words what a scam this place was. Dont let the big football stars name fool ya, he has no regard or passion for this place. The staff was fine but the food was barely mediocre and the prices are absolutely nonsense for the portion sizes. What else can you expect from a restaurant shoved in the back of a hotel. Just shows how cheap this place is that they cant even buy an actual establishment. Will never eat here again and especially since there are some very good places to eat in the area. Just go to any of the amazing restaurants in the local area and youll not regret it and youll save a buck.

Stayed at the Hilton (Shulas is in the hotelfor a couple days so I ate at Shulas a couple times.When we got to the hotel the wife an I were tired so we ordered room service, which comes from Shulas. We ordered the appetizer platter and the fish and chips; both were excellent. It was nice that they brought a wide variety of sauces for us.A couple days later I had the French onion soup and cheesecake in the restaurant and both of those were good.The only complaint I have is their prices are pretty steep.Unfortunately, this was one of the times I forgot to take pictures.

We both had an awesome dinner. My wife ordered the cod sandwich. The cod was thinly coated and great texture. I ordered the prime rib steak. It was very tender and cooked to perfection, wasnt sure why they even gave me a steak knife :Will have to go back for another dinner and try the fillet mignon. The service was excellent. Four thumbs up from the both of us.

Recently visited on 10/26/17. Had heard good things from friends though we were less then satisfied.My wife and I both ordered steaks, me the Strip she had the filet.Steak was cooked as requested though it had an almost fake smoke flavoring added to that just didn’t taste real. As the texture was almost chalky.The steaks are promoted as Black Angus but with Prime pricing, we just don’t see the need to over charge for average steaks.The sides were tasty. Though both of us agreed the temperature was off, borderline cool.The Cesar salad was also just average.I doubt we’ll have any reason to go back.

The staff is very professional and well trained. While sitting in the dining room, the environment was very ambient with the fireplace, good lighting, and music. The scallops were cooked perfectly, along with the filet mignon medallions. This dinner was savory and good for the wait, which wasnt long at all. However, some welcoming bread would be really nice to have served with the dinner, especially for the price.
