Tasty food friendly service
Good
Super delicious pineapple cake. They said pineapple cake is given to family for goodluck. We ate the pineapple cake we baked by the way.
Its like a mini museum of Japan culture, they sell Japanese rice balls dessert and the soft cheese cake common from Japan. Its really small but nice for a short escape. I personally stayed one hour, enough to take a few pics and eat dessert then left.
There are a lot of yummy food to buy 🍢🍡
Sweet food is available here, I like it
Good place for shopping mociii
Good but floor area to small
Loved the place that we could also make our OWN pineapple cakes. One of the few factories that opened its doors to group tours, allowing many others to try their hands. The batter, mould and packaging are all prepared so that u have less mess and less wrong worries. We actually took this package from Klook and the last stop was at this factory. We sure had fun making our own share of pinepapple cakes. And the best part of it all, u get to bring then back home.. And sinz it is in the factory, we bought more... There are actually good deals here and we lots were bought home..And with us loving snacks like these at home, im pretty sure many others would love it too. Go on n try to see and even make your own pineapple cake.. U will understand what we mean.. Cheers!!Psst, the place is certified HalalSo ya, cheers!!!#halaltaipei #halalcakes#halaltaipeicake #halalshushinbouwagashimusuem #shushinbouwagasjimuseum #pineapplecake
Youll learn how to make pineapple cake.
Could have done without the pineapple cake making experience since we were only putting the paste in the cake dough. However this was a great place to buy snacks as souvinors as you get to try before buying and the staffs will help to package the snacks neatly for boarding the plane.
Hands on experience was okay compared to the other brand in Kaohsiung.
Its also a high quality cake factory. Dont worry if you have any specific dietary requirements, their friendly helpful staff are fantastic at letting you know what you can eat and what you would need to avoid. On site museum too.
When u r need to buy some gift, this is good for u
Nice place, you can eat cake free and coffee free
Pineapple cakes are alright. Pineapple cake making was only to combine the flour and filling. Not much that had to be done.
Amazing customer service and great food and souvenirs
Tried to make my pineapple cake! Experience was so good.
Yummy food!
its great. Everything is best. Will go again next time. Best in Taiwan 👐👌👍👍
Amazing experience getting into an organized class to learn making and baking a pastry. Also loved trying out a variety of pastries, the best and recommended one being the original pineapple pastry.
Love this place & all products
Enjoyable afternoon of trying to make /bake your own pineapple tarts. Get to sample the products while waiting for yours to bake which you will end up buying a few from them
We visited this as part of our tour package.we had a chance to do pineapple cake pastry Making and did free tasting of the other goodies that they had.
Souvenirs were expensive even though we were in the factory. There are many items for you to look at. Customer service could be improved more.
Was able to go inside via Klook activities, we were able to have a quick tour of their facilities, and there was a teacher who helped us make our own pineapple cakes. We baked them and we waited for it for 30minutes. While waiting they gave us samples of their products. We were able to try mochi, pineapple (sweet variamt, sour variant, salted egg variantegg rolls. At the end of the tour, we were able to claim our own handmade pineapple cake, we ate it at night and it was still very fragrant and yummy! Definitely a must visit!
Fun making pineapple cake but they dont speak English.
I was on a tour group and we visited this place as part of it. Unfortunately we didnt get to see the whole factory, but we did get to make out own pineapple cake. The best part of the tour was all the free samples we were given.
Very friendly staff and tasty delicacies.
It has history of Japanese set up like museum , workshops and various Mochies, cakes, sweets etc
You can make your own pineapple pie here!鳳梨酥
The 2nd floor has Taiwan pastry DIY activity that you can join, and the room is large and clean. Clerks were very passionate to teach you making pastry in interesting way. So much fun.
Its a factory for making pineapple cakes and also a tourist spot where people can try pineapple cake making. There are also varieties of pineapple cakes sold here.
We had fun making our own pineapple cakes and trying lots of samples.
I loved make pineapple cakes here and eating samples as a part of a tour. Gave me a chance to also pick up goodies for my friends back home.
Experienced making our own pineapple cake and free taste of products. Lots of tasty products.
Learn how to make Taiwanese pineapple pie (DIYand take home after done.
Not a fan of Pineapple cakes but the tour lets you make your own cakes and bake them on the spot. I like the sour cakes the best. This stop came with our tour.
Were baking our own pineapple tart! The smell is good...
A fantastic place to visit even though know it in advance that its a hot spot to approach tourist to purchase their products. But, its totally out of your thought that they are not pushy yet still shown their professionalism in customer services. Great job.
Fun diy activity, yummy tasting, and friendly staff
A good place to visit without going Japan.
Quite a touristy place to buy some local snacks. The range of selection snacks are also not extensive. Some classes for kids on making crafty items such as magnetic.Quite packed all the time.
Learnt how to make pineapple tart. Nice experience.
DO NOT waste your time here. Not worth time trip to go there.Especially if you dont have very long holiday to spend. They show very little of sweet production, do not explain anything.Seems like a tourist trap to get you to buy their products (which you can see same kind of products all over Taiwan).
My kids find mochi making class fun.
A good place if you like mochi. A long way to travel just for that.
This place is famous for the pineapple cakes, Here they have a factory which makes pineapple cakes, Many tourists visit this place to learn how the pineapple cakes are made here. Also you can buy variety of sweets including pineapple cakes. The staff is really friendly and you can try variety of sweets before you make a purchase
Excellent diy, though crowded. Cool rooftop restaurant.
Had to change transport to get to the location. Staff were warm and welcoming. Plenty of treats to try and buy. DIY session was fun.
