Just Magical ...loved every minute. In awe at every turn. Must see in person. This place is a gem. Not enough words to describe it.

Truly the tallest cathedral in Mexico. Its construction history was quite complicated. Construction began in 1898, but wasnt completed until 2009. Between 1914 until 1990, construction was abandoned due to the Mexican Revolution, Cristero War, lack of funding and the loss of the cathedrals original blueprints. Half of it was completed between that 76 year gap. It was a miracle it took 19 years to complete the rest. Now it is historical icon of Zamora.

A place that you must visit. I have very personal experience in this place. I call it miracle.As I walked into the old basilica I had a very strange feeling and almost unexplained. Weird as it sounds but this experience brought me back to my faith. I will definitely will visit this place again.

Mexico’s notre dame 🤩 we got lucky to park right up next to it. The inside was open so we popped in for a quick view. Woooww the architecture it’s breathtaking. Worth the effort to get here

The gothic architecture, that amazing and imponent pipe organ, the huge stained glass art at every corner, each tower measure 107 meters height and the atrium its as imponent as the size of the church. A must visit place with no hesitation.

A hidden gem in the state of Michoacán. This Cathedral is truly stunning and pictures cannot do it justice. Incredible stained glass windows and I could go on forever, but its truly worth the drive to Zamora if youre in the area.

I walk by every single day ,and I never get tired in how amazing this structure is,but its content is stronger than the outside,this is a must visit here un Zamora.

Truly an amazing place. I first visited when I was very Young, the Cathedral was not complicated then. It’s nice to see it finish and completely done. I love visiting when ever we come to Mexico.

Beautiful architecture, very well maintained. Afternoons outside are just so picturesque with people buying tamales and atole or hot chocolate from all types of vendors that gather around the gates.
