A blissful place close to nature. Here you will find the history of Shri Ajitnath bhagwan shwetambar. The place was attacked by the devil know as Alauddin Khilji and how he destroyed the tirth sthan in that time. Also you can do some hiking here, for 3 places namely Siddha Shila, Moksha Shila, and Koti Shila.
It is very exciting, little adventure, cold & Cloudy atmosphere. Little tuf for older and heavy to go upstairs at mountains. Dinner is available at temple Rs.60 only.
Very nice fantastic Jain temple.. Amazing stone micro carvings. Around 900 to 1000 yrs old made by Choulkya Rajput Vanshaj Solanki Gotra Emperor. Kumarpal Maharaja who was king of 18 different states or country and who was also praised & forecasted well 2600 yrs ago by Great Lord Shri Mahavir Swamiji. He was praised for his Extreme tremendous Non-Violence rules Nd order in his entire empire for any living beings, either Human beings or insects.. Must visit this temple for mental peace, Architecture, Engineering works of ancient times and to know more about historical values associated with this Jain temple.👌👌👌

Taranga is a Jain pilgrimage center near Kheralu in Mehsana district, Gujarat, India, with two compounds of Jain temples that are important examples of the Māru-Gurjara style of architecture. The Ajitnatha temple, was constructed in 1161 by the Chaulukya king Kumarapala, under the advice of his teacher, Acharya Hemachandra. Both the main sects of Jainism are represented, with adjoining walled compounds: the Svetambara compound consists of 14 temples in all, and there are also five Digambara-affiliated temples at Taranga hill. Beautiful Place. Feel like Amazing at Top of The Hill. Nice place for weekend travel and One Day Trip.
A calm, serene temple, in the lap of nature, surrounded by beautiful hills, a truly mesmerising view. Ajitnath prabhus statue(Pratimajiis magnificent; the intricate carvings & architecture of the temple structure very well exemplify the grandeur and perfectionism of medieval Bharat. Visit to the temple is truly a wonderful experience. Adding to the serenity is almost absent mobile networks, ensuring that you fulfil the very purpose of your visit, away from worldly duties & desires, a divine experience indeed. The three hills(Kotishila, Siddhashila & Moksha barigive you a mini-adventurous experience. Road till the Tirth is well-built, thanks to the management for providing good Dharamshala & bhojanshala facilities to the Yatris. Overall an amazing experience, you feel like visiting the temple again.
its nice place and having good room for stay
One of most divine experience. Adding few photos about history and Information about the temple.
Awesome historical place to visit in Gujarat. Popular in jain community. The biggest temple of India which belongs to jain community. The carvings are beyond words 142 feet temple and every inch is carved from top to bottom.
Very beautiful shwetambar jain temple in hills of Taranga. Beautiful surroundings, excellent ambiance, holy place. Large temple with great carvings on walls. Very big premises.clean place. Staying and Bhojanalay facility are available.

Honestly, Im not into religion stuff but i kinda liked this temple. The experience to get there by car was so great because you can feel to really greens on the side of the rode. The temple situated between jungle and mountain. When you get there you can see the monkeys from the start, they are really friendly with everyone but you just need to feed them 🤣.
The best place for adventure.Monsoon weather makes this place so beautiful by make more greenery.Huge mountain climbing makes more excited.

Awesome place and good place for people who love trekking🗻
Peaceful place, no crowd. Great place for a short stay as well. Amazingly beautiful temple surrounded by greens and mountains. Don’t forget to wake up early to enjoy the sunrise.
Peaceful holy jain place.More beautiful in monsoon.20km away from vadnagar.Large compound around the temple. There is superb facilities to stay here and religious food. Also have canteen. This is 12th centurys historical jain derasar. This is dedication of solanki rajputs. Most hills and parts are covered by brushwood and forest. So looks more beautiful in monsoon. The place was historically associated with Buddhism and monuments dated to 4th-8th century are also found here. The oldest Jain temple was constructed in 1161 by the Chaulukya king Kumarapala, under the advice of his teacher, Acharya Hemachandra.About 2.5 km north of the hill, the shrines of Taran Mata and Dharan Mata is situated near a natural stream. The Taranga hill bears the name of Taringa or Taranga, probably from a shrine of Taran Mata.
Peaceful area, temple between the mountains,Beautiful nature, place for enjoyment for all age of groups. Also behind the temple there is entry for road to mountains, which can be taken to climb mountains and to see beautiful nature from above the mountains, probably best scene from highest point.
bilded by king kumarpal in 1165. temple Height :142 feet.murti( statue of godheight:101 inches. In 14th century this temple. attacked by alauddin khilji (mugal kingin 1436 the murti re-constant by Govindji.
Jain Dharmashala managed by Anandji Kalyanji Trust.. Various choices of rooms available to select based on your budget.. cleanliness, staff support and rooms were also very well managed..
wonderful place. very attractive jain temple. close to ambaji temple. when you traveling to ambaji from mehsana the sign board on right side shows the taranga hill. road is good to reach there. there are bus service and railway service from mehsana station s also available to reach there. food served here is also good.
Nice place to go on a weekend. About 2-2.5 hours drive from ahmedabad. Even more fun if you go through the villages. Theres a temple and a dharamsala there and three surrounding peaks with temples above. The place is never too crowded which is why I like it most. The surrounding mountains give good trekking opportunity
Peaceful place. It has 1 central temple and two other on hill on sides of temple. Both has around 600 to 700 steps to the top of the hill for a temple. There are few dharamshala (in my knowledge - 3 on top near main temple, 2 at 2 or 3 km down the hillhaving super clean room, with in-house bathroom at very very economical rate. There is a bhojnalay which provides Morning breakfast, lunch, dinner (food being really very good[non jain people should take care of timings as Jain have lunch and dinner before usual time], this is right on the entrance of main temple.Kids will enjoy a lot.*All this is for Non Jain people, as Jain would be well aware of the place and all temples that I have mentioned are Jain Temple.
